It Has Never Happened Before
Pacing back and forth outside Wu Zihao's ward, Song Jia tried calling Wu Zhang again but the call didn't go through, just like it had been happening since yesterday. Her forehead was marred with lines of worry because this had never happened before. It had been more than twenty-four hours and Wu Zhang neither called her or answered her calls and to worsen it, now it was turned off since the morning.
Before she could dial his number again, Wei Xin tapped her shoulder from behind. "Where did you go all of a sudden?" Song Jia couldn't feel more troubled right now and it showed on her face. On one hand, she had been trying to call Wu Zhang all in vain and on the other hand, Wu Zihao was here in the hospital. His injury was deep and he had lost a lot of blood, that compiled with the shocking amount of alcohol that he had consumed, he had not yet regained consciousness. Seeing Wei Xin brought her some relief.
