Episode 12- Meeting with the Fairy Queen

After walking inside the building of the fairy queen's residence, we walked towards the first room inside the building, arriving inside a spacious room. The room had a lot of fancy paintings and fancy furniture with her desk sitting in front of a window.

A beautiful woman had long flaxen forest green hair that reached her waist and she had beautiful golden eyes and a relevantly big bust. Her hair was decorated with accessories, and she was wearing a beautiful white dress with a green dress. And she had a big pair of light wings on her back.

"Ah, you all have finally arrived… I have been waiting for you all for a while." said the fairy queen, Artemisia, who was looking at her guest in delight. She was genuinely happy to see the group of humans that were going to be helping their people.

But even with her genuine happy persona… you could tell that the spirit queen was stressed about something. Even so, she was still trying her best to be polite to her guest.

Tenka bowed elegantly, grabbing the hem of her skirt, "It's an honor to meet you, fairy queen, we have come here to fulfill the request that you need to do."

She was a noble from one of the great families, so she had to be respectful to keep the peace between the two races. Although the spirits, fairies, and elves were not the type of people to hold grudges, nevertheless, they were people who wanted to be treated with the same care they treat others with, but humans and demons could be cruel to them. That was the reason Sara separated the races into different worlds.

"Thank you for traveling all this way. As you can see, I'm a little stressed right now, since I have been dealing with the causes of my people that were fighting the dragon."

Her tone was still gentle, but you could feel her stress radiating through the room.

"But the city is still in perfect condition. How is where the death of you people caused…?" Tenka asked, curiously.

"I can recreate everything in this city with my mana if it were to ever be destroyed, but that doesn't apply to the people who risked their lives to protect the city."

"So, the dragon came and attacked the city! I thought the dragons were on the other side of the forest!" Lilith slightly raised her voice. She was not training to be disrespectful, but from the way the forest was separated, the dragons should be at the end of the forest.

Just then, the twin fairies walked toward the spirit queen. They were not hostile, but they needed to stand by the spirit queen because they were her guards since most of her guards died in the battle.

"This dragon is not mindless. Although everyone says that dragons are mindless, they really aren't. The dragon in question was a big dragon that was controlling most of the other dragons. They are attacking in groups, and they decide to attack the other beings that are in the forest… I want to be able to protect my people, but since I'm not a spirit. I'm not strong enough to subdue the dragon."

"If a spirit is needed to beat the dragon… then is the dragon a supreme dragon?" Tenka asked, looking at the Fairy queen that was sitting behind her desk.

The fairy queen looked up at the group of adventures, "You are really smart… but you are right the dragon is a supreme dragon. High-ranking dragons that could fight on par with the demon elders, elves, and some spirits. But they should be weaker than the strongest mage in the world, Sara."

"Now isn't this interesting… A supreme dragon? Well, I guess beating some sense in it might be enjoyable."

The fairy queen had noticed that he was standing behind the group of adventures beside his daughters that were holding his hand, but the aura that was radiating off him was something that was dark… no sinister… something that was darker than any kind of darkness.

—-What… the hell is that thing…!? I can tell it's not human…. But what is he exactly? His whole body is made up of darkness… no even if it's the same color of darkness, but that is something that is beyond darkness. Something that expands far beyond the concept of nothingness.

The fairy queen kept her composure and didn't show the fear she was feeling. Of course, she was strong enough to hide her fear of him because he wasn't releasing any pressure to try and scare him. If he was to release his pressure, everyone except his daughters and Tenka would be killed. Lucia would be able to survive his pressure with one of his seals off, but that is the furthest she was going to be able to go with him.

"I see… you are strong enough to handle the dragon by yourself, aren't you?"

"You could say that…" Shito said, "Since you could already feel it, I shouldn't lie to you… after all, it wouldn't do me any good to lie to you."

"Ha, that's good that someone of your caliber came to help us," the fairy queen's gaze shifted towards Lucia, "Ahhh, you are…—"

She stops speaking after she sees Lucia shaking her head, signaling her not to reveal her identity. The fairy queen immediately noticed it and nodded her head, agreeing to keep her identity a secret. Via Magic Eyes of Truth, she could look at a person and find out their origin and everything about them, so she saw that Lucia was the hero, but she could not grasp what kind of being Shito was…

"Well, since we are going to talk, I'm going to need to tell you about the dragon."

"Nah, don't do that…" Shito muttered.

"Why do you not want to know the details of your mission? You are going to need to know it if you want to fight against the dragon."

"This mission has gotten interesting, and I don't want that to be ruined by small details."

"Ahh, I completely understand what you are seeing. One of the reasons you came here was to spend time with your friends and family… I suppose."

"You are right about that," Shito let go of his daughter's hand, walking toward the front of the group, "I know you have something you want to ask me. If you want to do so, you can go ahead and do it."

After hearing that, Artemisia the fairy queen, waved her hand, signaling the fairy twins to leave them in the room alone.

Shito looked toward his friend and family and without him having to say a word, they walked towards the door, behind the fairy twins that were walking toward the door.

Once they were left alone in the room, Shito closed his eyes tightly, looking at the spirit queen who was sitting at her desk.

"What do you want to talk to me about," he asked, "I know you want to talk to me about something… your eyes may be able to see the truth, but my eyes can see past the truth."

"Hm, that seems to be the case. Just by taking a look at your body… I can tell that you are one of the strongest beings in this world. I can't see your true strength, but the little bit of power you are releasing now puts you above all the dragons that I have seen."

The Fairy Queen stared at the boy that was in front of her. She was nice enough to stay in the human realm to keep the world safe. The mother of all fairies, with her mother being the spirit queen. The spirit queen was like a mother to all of the spirits and fairies.

"Well, you could say that you are right about that. I'm stronger than them, so you have nothing to worry about…" Shito declared flatly.

Artemisia opened her mouth, and asked, "Do you think that you can help me with something?"

Shito opened his eyes, knowing what the Fairy Queen wanted him to do. It wasn't hard to figure out what was on her mind since some of her people were killed during the invasion of the dragons.

"You want us to try and revive the people that died in the attack?" he asked.

"So, you already knew what I wanted to ask you!?"

"I mean… the look on your face gives everything away. Some of your people have been slaughtered and by all of the things I have heard about your personality. You would be worried about your people before even worrying about yourself…" Shito briefly paused before continuing, "And I can say that I envy you for that. You are willing to put yourself in harm's way for your people. Something that people from the other races don't do anymore."

The Fairy Queen, Artemisia genuinely smiled upon hearing his remarks, "Thanks, I appreciate your kind words, but I'm nothing like you. From the aura that I see around you… the bright green color that surrounds you shows how much you care about the people in your life. Although your face doesn't show any emotions, your body loves and cares for the people around you. Have you not noticed yourself that the people around you are precious to the point that you are willing to risk your life against them."

Shito slightly smiled, "I guess you are right… but I won't have to sacrifice myself or anyone that is near me because," he looked up at the girl with a confident look in his eyes, "With my power, no one would be able to run or hide for me. With my sword, nothing is unkillable. I am a person who defies logic, the law of the world, and anything else that is considered to be 'abnormal' in this world… I am something that is darker than nothingness."

Those words were nothing but the truth. Nothing was unkillable in front of him, no matter if they were 'above' the concept of death or even if their life was 'eternal' or 'infinite'. In front of him, all possible possibilities collapsed.
