Presence of the End of the World!

"Say kid, you wanted to become a fighter didn't you?"

Sei talks as she walks towards the girl

"Come, fight me with all your might, because if not, you will, without doubt, will lose your life."

"Hey! What are you saying?!"

The father run to his daughter and cover her with his back

"You know a child can't compete with you, have you lost all of your senses?"

Sei struck on the father's and daughter's side and wounded the ground by about 100 meter long and of unknown deep. The sounds of the crumbling land will really terrify fighters of their level.

Gulp is the only sound you can hear from them as the morsels of soil rains on them and on the targeted area. It seems they think Sei is no longer kidding

The father embrace his daughter with his forearm

"Oh, so you really love your daughter, huh?"

Sei tease the father

The father raise his head and say

"You know she is still in training, are you going to fight a kid? Have you no shame? Or are you really just an idiot?"

The guy explain the obvious, a little child cannot yet fight unless they trained for years. Meanwhile adults can learn faster without spending their childhood days. Just exactly what i said; adults know what they are doing while children struggle because the limit of their young weak body is holding them down. A whole day of training with a child? It will just be a wasteful day. You could just enjoy the beautiful nature of the world with them on the road and such.

"Sigh"

i let out a breath to how unthoughtful the world is

Sei then reply

"Then when?"

"Huh?"

The father reply in Sei's decisive question

"When are you going to let her fight?"

Sei cleared the question as she stare down to the man

"When she is all prepared!"

The father reply forcefully as of he is free of mistake

"And when is that?"

The father has been speechless for it seems he understood what i and Sei have been meaning about since recently.

Sei then continue

"If you've trained her before she was born, then, isn't she capable of battling me now?

After all, it is your reason, isnt it? To train her as soon as possible? So that she can protect herself? Well the time is now! I am the death you people are trying to evade.

So

Come, fight me!!! "

Sei pointed the sword

Sei's eyes are sharply glaring on them

The sword on Sei's hand glows violently as if it is raging to explode

Obviously it cause fear to both of them. ( The father and the little girl.)

The father finally understood what recklessness he is doing. He then kneel to the ground saying...

"I am very thankful for your concern! Thank you very much for giving me and my daughter a care!"

I and Sei felt relief

Sei then let go of the violent energy cumulating in the sword

I then comfort the father saying

"It is alright, living with this dangerous world is very difficult. Humanity's safety is on the hands of unity!

If you trained out here, there is no certainty of your safety."

Sei then added

"At least in the kingdom, you can be protected with your fellow adventurers and fighters. But if the time comes that there is no longer a way to protect each other, then who makes you think that training in advance can save your life?"

Sei then turn and take a look in the peaceful horizon

That is why you should at least ask if there is a God or what; So that, somehow, we feel delightful rest, in this tiring tragic world.

We continue to our walk

The father's name is Girvacks and the girl's name is Vara.

I and Sei just go with the two because we are travelling in the same direction

Now, i have no idea if we are doing this right. So i draw the invitation in my pocket to look for some clue. There could be a hidden message or such about the location.

Sei also take a look.

Finding no clue, i close the letter.

Sei then took the letter from me to also carefully search for clue but...

" Uhm, what could be this emblem of the family means?"

Oh?! Sei might notice something

I then look at the part that her finger is pointing

In it, you can read a SPIRITUAL HOUSE, and THE FAMILY OF HOPE AND FUTURE in its bottom side. Those two sentences are in the surface of a six pointed star. The six pointed star is the emblem of this family i presume.

"Hmm... Considering they are family of hope and future, probably they mean they are like a star that is far away from the current state of the world? I mean, they have this magic technology on them; as far as i know, until now, isn't this an Unknown phenomenon? You see, almost everyone doesn't know what magic is. Needless to say, we didn't even know what is the meaning of magic. Is it a power stone? A mechanical item? We really have no idea. "

I reply filled of wonder

" Yeah... How did you even come to believe that it exist...."

Sei muttered

Looking at her as she lost hope of ever finding this Magic, i just let out a breath

" Sigh "

But considering those unknown powerful individuals, i still am not losing hope. Because i know that there is still a way to make myself a lot stronger. I also can't find a reason for that person that handed me the invitation to be nonsensical. After all, why would he waste his time writing a message this detailed? Not that it's really detailed though. Anyway, i will not let this opportunity slip away, i have been invited to a place where an unknown ability enhancer is existing, I will never let it go! For i can't get myself to join those so called people of God.

I will find this magic and i will use it to materialise my goal!!!

Now, the four of us are walking in the road when we met a dead body. Blood is all over the place and is smeared on the ground. This suggests that another body was taken off somewhere.

Just what happened in here?

It has been too late for us to react for we have already seen the dead body that is torn to pieces. This is more likely an animal attack. Is it a beast? Another monster? Somehow this really gives me the chills of that monster.

When i turn my eyes to the dead body, i had known that they are wearing a combat suit.

What is this? A combat personnel get defeated?

"Sei, everyone, let us hurry and find ourselves a shelter. Something is not right."

Yeah, something wrong is happening, is this an another dungeon beast? Sure there are dangerous beasts outside the dungeon but the world's government already put it to safety. There are strong personnel assigned to subdue those beasts. So it's impossible that there are beasts that is roving around the main road where travellers take their way. I mean it is not that impossible for beasts to rove here, but beasts that can defeat traveller guards? Now, that is unheard of.

We then continue on our walk.

The nearest spot is the kingdom of Sibar, thus we walk hurriedly to there.

We arrived at the first town in 5pm. The surroundings are gloomy. The houses are well guarded by different fortifying object such as pieces of woods and such. You can also notice that people inside are well alarmed about something.

"What had happened here?"

Girvacks ask with his head moving from right to left for he is looking to the condition of the houses.

Girvacks is a 40 year old guy, his body is slightly fat, his front hair is inclined to his left and right. His cheek is covered by his chinning up beard. His hair color is red. He carries a giant axe with him.

Now a ferocious beast is rushing onto us. A hairy wolf that is about as big as Girvacks is running proudly without delay. Though I and Sei easily notice its approach, Girvacks and Vara has no idea at all. When i am about to move, a blue colored light of arrow struck the beast.

The spot has been filled with smoke caused by the impact.

I take a look to the spot where the light arrow had came from and i see a figure of a boy. A boy about 15 years old? Hunch aside, this boy sure is really young.

While looking deep to the boy's figure, another light arrow flashed away from him towards us. The arrow was directed to the beast. The beast hadn't been hurt at all from the first strike!

upon being aware, Girvacks immediately dash away from the beast with his hand holding the handle of his gigantic axe.

"What is this? Why is this wolf this fast and ferocious?"

Girvacks was astonished to the unnatural behaviour of the beast causing him to question the situation.

Well, this really is questionable.

A wolf this small is only a meat dish for travellers. But now, it seems this dish has dished out several bodies already.

The wolf's shining fangs has morsels of flesh stuck to it

I see...

"End of the world, huh?"

I muttered as i pat Vara's head
