Coraline's sleep was disturbed by loud voices shouting, prompting her eyes to be shot open. At first, she thought she heard wrongly. It would be out of character for Bryce to start screaming on the phone. No, it was a voice she used to hear once. A voice that scared the wits out of her when the owner used to argue. 

The situation struck her odd, seeming that Harith would normally exchange raised voices with Sara, who was yet to be found. 

'Why would Harith be here, arguing with Bryce?'

'What happened? Did they find Sara? Is she dead?'
