Mikelle da Varano was a man driven by a fierce determination to avenge his wife and son's death at the hands of a vampire lord. As a bloodthirsty hunter, he sought to kill the vampire by his own hands, but fate had other plans in store for him. When the day finally arrived, and he pierced the vampire lord's heart with his Damascus sword, he was shocked to discover that he had killed a normal ranking vampire. As he stood over the dying vampire, Mikelle heard a calm, chilling voice say, "Leave him be; he was going to die anyway." In that moment, he pledged himself to the God. With his last breath, Mikelle begged the Holy Father for another chance to fulfill his mission. Despite the pain he felt, he vowed to bring forth justice and uphold the rights of his people. Little did he know, his plea would be answered in a way he could never have imagined. When he opened his eyes, Mikelle realized that he had become the very creature he despised the most - a blood-sucking vampire. Now, as a vampire, Mikelle must navigate his new existence while staying true to his beliefs and purpose. The once holy hunter must reconcile his former life with his newfound identity and learn to control his thirst for blood. Can he use his new powers to bring justice to those who need it, or will he succumb to the darkness within him? Chapter 1THE DEATH OF THE FOURTH VIRTUE

The sky was covered in pitch black, without any jewels sparkling from above. It was a silent, heavy night as rain produced a pattering sound from the ground. Leaving the man, who looks like he just attended a funeral with an entire colored black outfit, groans in immense pain.

He was covered with so many wounds that his blood mixed up with the cold showers of rain.

"Urgh! Not yet. I need to gather a little more power.'

He thought as he was heavily panting while kneeling on the ground, holding a sword on his right arm that was stabbed into the muddy ground, serving as his cane.

Even though he knows that he doesn't have any power left to fight, he swiftly avoids the sword that almost sent his head flying through the air and covers the open wound below his ribs before he is taken aback by the man who almost took his life.

Just then he heard him snicker as he let out a baleful laugh, before he calls out his name.

"Hahaahha- Mikelle….Mikelle…Mikelle!"

He repeatedly calls that even his voice sounded so evil.

The man who wears a demonic blank mask gradually walks towards him while the sword he was holding creates a disturbing scratching sound on the ground, which gives him an unpleasant sensation of repulsion.

"Just where do you think you're going?"

The man mocked, before swinging his sword so hard that Mikelle luckily blocked with his own Damascus sword, which almost pinned him to the ground.

*Urgh!* Mikelle groan when his wound opened up, seeing it, it made the man lick his lips and smile so maliciously before he kicked him so hard that he came off flying through the wall, leaving it all crumbled and completely destroyed.

He even tried to heal the big wound below his rib cage with his own divine power, but no matter how many times he tried, the blue light that his hands emitted immediately turned dim and would gradually disappear. Mikelle knows that he is slowly losing a lot of mana after killing thousands of blood sucking vampires, that must prevent him from healing his own wounds that he was desperately trying to heal. And after failing for a thousand times, Mikelle was completely left devastated in silence, he was looking so hopeless while being drenched in the rain.

'This can't be the end; I need time to heal myself.'

He thought as he noticed how the man's shadow was getting closer and closer towards him; even though he wanted to move, lifting a single finger has become difficult for Mikelle, that even the cool breeze and the tingling droplets of the rain that were pouring from his skin made him feel so impassive.

Mikelle then looks up to the man when he throws a familiar-looking bracelet at his face, and the time he saw it right in front of his eyes made his world crumble into a million pieces while remembering a picture of a lovely girl smiling on his mind.

'Estrelle….'

His eyes suddenly grow so wide before he immediately picks up the bracelet on the ground, he clasps it in his hands while he wipes it like crazy.

"Ah, so you knew her?"

He asked while pretending not to know the girl.

"Do you know how much she begged for me to spare her life because she said she was pregnant?" He added that made Mikelle grit furiously while holding his wife's bracelet so tight.

"She cried so much that it made me poke her eyes out-."

Just then he purposely cut his word and form a mischievous grin when he noticed that Mikelle had bit his lips in anger. Seeing his blood drips onto the puddle, while tears continuously flowed out of his eyes, a thrilling sensation made him squeeze his body to the point that he was having fun watching Mikelle to suffer.

That even though Mikelle wasn't in a good shape to fight he could not prevent himself from trembling in rage that he almost forgot how wounded he was.

The anger that stirred up in his heart made him get up even though he knows he was badly injured; that if it were a normal person, then he would have probably died before he could even seek for revenge.

With that, Mikelle's Damascus sword, which was the sharpest weapon in the world, created a blinding blue light that enough to give him warmth. He knows that he was exceeding his own limits, but Mikelle was so determined to finish him with his own hands; his eyes were full of hatred, and so his heart, and by the time he used all the power he had, he knew what consequences he would face, but he doesn't care about it at all, as he had already engraved the death on his heart in exchange for killing the sinner who killed his wife.

Just then, Mikelle charges at full speed, while the man just continues to laugh victoriously after punching him forcefully, which he had thought would end his life. But then, Mikelle did not toss that hard to the ground and has kept his balance with his sword to support his wobbly legs.

"Rot in hell, you piece of shit."

He affirmed, which made the guy who was laughing like an idiot to be left dumbfounded, and it was already too late when he notices his skin starting to get scrape with a blazing blue fire that keeps coming out of his wounds, and that's when he realizes that Mikelle uses a holy divine power he had left to create a holy blue flame that can make the vampire and other monsters melt their flesh from the heat of his fire.

Well, Mikelle was supposed to rejoice that he had killed the monster who killed his pregnant wife, but then, even his eyes could not believe what he was seeing, he even tried to believe in it that it was just a dream, but when he sees his heart colored in black, he immediately knows that he was not the culprit and the vampire lord he wanted to kill. His heart would be supposed to be a color of pride, a purple-ish crystal color of the sinner and the real lord of all of the monsters.

*Clap! Clap! Clap!*

Mikelle then sees a man clapping in the distance; even though his sight is blurry, he can still see how his eyes shine red in the night. It was terrifying that he could feel the chills crawling on his veins, but what he feels the most is the miserably anger on his heart that comes from wanting to kill him with his hands, and knowing that he used the divine power he had left on the normal ranking vampire who claimed to be the one who killed his wife made him feel disappointed in himself.

Even though Mikelle wanted to stand up, he was in the position of kneeling in front of him, which made him scratch his fingers on the ground. He did not care even if it broke or if his nails separated from his fingers; he just could not bear that he was taken as a fool and a dancing marionette on his plans.

"Do you believe his lies?"

His voice was deep and cold as he spoke, and the way he gazes upon Mikelle made him felt as if he was just a mere insect that could die in one stomp.

"No, it can't be."

Mikelle's eyes were trembling, and he was gritting so hard while looking at him that nerves could be seen popping out of his forehead.

"Yes, it is."

The guy answered back and almost flinched when Mikelle broke his finger to lift his sword, but even though it just left a scratch on his face, the two vampires who wear hoods and were standing by his side immediately got alarmed that the whip almost made him get his head separated from his neck.

"Leave him be."

He commands, as he flicked Mikelle's sword to wipe his hands before he turned his back and gradually walked out of the scene.

"He's going to die anyway." He added as they left Mikelle all alone to die.

But even after they turned their backs and ignored him like a useless being, Mikelle was so desperate that he reached out his bloody hand towards him while wishing that he could at least grab his neck or die along with him, but then he could not even do that thing. He was now a cripple after losing all his divine power that touching the hem of his trousers was impossible for the likes of him.

'No! I won't die like this!'

His heart was filled with loathe and anger, that even after being left lying on the ground while bathing in his own blood with broken limbs and bones detached from another, he still desperately wished to kill that man, even if it were out of duty as the child of the God or as revenge for killing his wife.

"I... won't die this way, not until I make them pay!"

Mikelle affirmed while heavily panting on the ground.

Just when he felt that his body became lighter like a mere feather, his eye sight also became blurry, that he could feel how his senses slowly fading one by one, but before he lost his consciousness Mikelle recklessly grabbed his sword and the crucifix that hangs on his neck before he stabbed it in his heart while creating an oath to make a deal with the God.

"Oh holy father in heaven, please hear the prayer of your diligent child; please give me another chance to fulfill my mission....." He begged while preventing himself from stuttering in pain.

"Urgh! Even if it made me a monster, I would do anything but bring forth justice, the whole rights, and nothing so evil as eating flesh or sucking the blood of my own people!"

Just when he vomited blood and inhaled the last breath he had; a blinding luminous light comes out of his body which shone through from his heart, he never expected that he would be able to feel the silence and peace before his eyes shut completely.

He was finally eaten by the darkness when he felt a sudden warmth covering his body, and as soon as he open his eyes the first thing he had seen, is himself getting beaten by the tall, skeletal man while hearing the horde of people shouting on the top of their lungs for Mikelle to die.

Armipotent

This is a work of fiction, any names, characters, stories or events, are fictitious! (Even the country in the story is just the author's fantasy as the author never visited those countries in the story) Armipotent is an archaic adjective meaning "strong in battle." Basically, it refers to someone who is physically tough in war. Originally, it was used to refer to the Roman god of war, Mars. ===================== Tang Shaoyang, an orphan who dropped out of the middle school to fight on the street as he found out school was useless for a penniless orphan like him. Tang Shaoyang dropped out of his school, fighting on the street, and made a name for himself. Berserker Tang from Youyouliucun. Afterward, Dragon Wing triad recruited him and everything was good for him. Even though the public deemed him as a tumor of society, Tang Shaoyang was having a decent life. Until one day, everything changed as an absurd and strange game started. "... Game starts! Stage one: Survival for The Fittest!" After the game started, zombies appeared out of nowhere. ... Ding! "You have killed 1000 zombies less than 24 hours since the game started! You gained 3 Talents!" Dong! "You may choose 3 Talents! please choose carefully!" Tang Shaoyang held his chin and mused what Talent he had to choose. "With Zombies appear everywhere, I need an infinite strength... this is one, I still need to choose 2 Talents more..." Then a lewd smile formed on his lips. "I want an infinite strength, charm and charisma to conquer women, and the last one, I want to upgrade my **** so I can please my women!" After saying this, Tang Shaoyang laughed aloud. "Hahaha, there's no way such talent exists... ehhhhh?!!!" Ding! Dong! "3 Talents are consumed! You have been granted Divine Body! Good Luck, Gamer Tang Shaoyang!" Tang Shaoyang immediately checked the detail of Divine Body. After a brief silence, he muttered unbelievably. "Such Talents really exist..." They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
