The sadness had disappeared from the eyes of the lovers as time passed.
At half past one in the morning, Lisa was already lying under the blanket, listening to the sound of running water coming from the bathroom. The sound of water hitting the tiled floor made her heart feel calm.
She had been trying hard to suppress all her feelings of worry. Her eyes stared up at the bedroom ceiling, trying to make herself sleepy. But her mind was so busy that she didn't feel sleepy at all.
Her heart was already calm, but her mind was still busy. It's like being in an office that has a nice and comfortable atmosphere, but the work to be done is piling up like a mountain.
Lisa's hands gripped the edge of the blanket, and she forced her eyes to close.
She knows that she has a long way to go with Oscar, and who knows when it will end. Despite the coming problems and lies that will be exposed later… Lisa promises to always be by Oscar's side.
