Blood lake

February 13, 2017 (Country: Frezha)

Mechanical sounds can be heard. Big and vicious beasts march towards the pillars.

Commander: "They're getting closer! Turn this damn thing on!!"

Technician: "I need 2 minutes! It's still not ready"

Panic and fear blankets every soldier in the face of death.

Commander: "Reload the canons!! We're buying some time guys let's go!"

The soldiers brought the ammos and set the cannons up but they have no idea where to aim. Too many of them are rushing in all together. It's like a big wave of disfigured nightmares that's about to crash down to them.

Commander: "Fire!!"

Shots were fired, but it wasn't enough to slow them down not even one single bit.

Commander: "Shit! Open fire!!"

In desperation, they do their best to defend and stand their ground. But they just keep getting closer and closer.

One soldier drops their weapon.

Soldier 1: "W-we're done for…"

Commander: "What are you doing! Pick up your gun and shoot!"

Soldier: "Commander!! There's nothing we can do anymore! The back up that stupid agency said they're sending us is not here! We don't stand a chance against those things!!"

Commander: "Soldier you--"

Before anything was said any further. They now have other problems to deal with. Like that big monster that's about to swallow them whole in one single bite.

Commander: "S-shit"

And then..... It slams to the ground.

Fortunately, it died before it got to them. It looked like a big chunk of it was gone somehow. But who exactly killed it?

A woman behind them was calmly approaching the danger zone. She had brown hair, gold eyes, and was wearing a suit.

Soldier 2: "Ma'am you can't be here-"

Commander: "Wait!"

Soldier 2: "Commander?"

Commander: "I think that's-"

Woman: "I'm the backup sent by The Monster Hunter Agency"

The soldiers looked at each other, puzzled by the idea that a single woman is their backup.

Commander: "Geez, what took you so long to get here!!"

Woman: "Typical Traffic Commander. Now stay back and let me handle this. Close the barrier on my signal"

Commander: "What are you-"

Woman: "Just do as I say"

The woman rushes towards the monsters.

Soldier 1: "Wha- Is she crazy!? She's gonna face that many monsters on her own!?"

Soldier 2: "I mean, Isn't she a hunter? She should be fine, right?"

Soldier 1: "Didn't you see? She's wearing a black tie!"

Soldier 2: "What's the problem with that?"

Soldier 1: "The black Class is the lowest ranking class in their entire agency! There's no way she can face that many monsters on her own.."

Soldier 2: "Yeah but… Didn't she just kill that big one earlier?"

Soldier 1: "....You're right… But then… Why is her rank so low?"

In an instant, Every single monster in that wave just disappeared right after this mysterious woman clasped her hand facing towards the monsters.

So much blood was splattered everywhere that it even made a big lake. The soldiers were in shock.

Soldier 2: "Are you… Are you sure she's from the black Class?"

Soldier 1: "That's no human….... If it weren't for her looks, I might've mistaken her for a monster…"
