Prologue

In the first written records of the Chaotic Era (C.E) 2045, an inconspicuous meteorite landed on earth in the Himalayan Mountains. Because about 90% the meteorite had been burnt by Earth's atmosphere and the remaining landed in such an uninhabited region, about 90% of people on Earth ignored it. Only a few scientists were interested in it for research purposes but even they didn't find it's crash site after searching for a whole year! Unknown to mankind, the arrival of this meteorite would bring doom and desperation to them.

About twenty years after this meteorite landed, at about 2065 C.E, a member of a hiking team that went on an adventure around the Himalayan Mountains came back home with symptoms of severe cold and fever. Exactly twenty four hours later, he died. This man was patient 0!

The pandemic came and spread swiftly with an infection rate of 90% and death rate of 70%! The T-5 virus, which was cause of this pandemic was said to have been transmitted via airborne spreading to both man and beasts. It spread so fast that in about three months after the first case was reported, it had spread to about 85% of the population and reduced the planet's population from the original 7.6 billion to about 6 billion. It was a disaster! Humanity didn't even have time to react. Whole countries were wiped of the surface the planet.

As time went on, more and more people were infected and more and more people died until about five years later when the infection rate began to reduce because mankind became to develop antibodies to fight against this virus. At this time mankind's population had reduced to an all-time low of 3.4 billion.

As the remaining inhabitants of various countries began to rebuild, it was discovered that humans who had survived this catastrophe had grown stronger physiques and bodies with the average human being able to exert a fist force of 250 kg (551 pounds)! These people experienced an all round upgrade in their speed, strength, vitality and soul strength. These new evolved humans were given the name Enhanced Humans or Enhancers. With these new abilities, the rebuilding of various cities were very fast, causing most cities to be rebuilt in a short time. Technology also entering an age of swift development due to humanity's new heightened mental capacity. Resources were now in urgent need to fuel this swift development.

In order to fuel such swift development, more national resources were needed.This caused some stronger countries to begin to annex smaller countries whose military power had been weakened by the pandemic. Mankind's greed was about to usher in another World war after just experiencing such a disaster.

But mankind's nightmare had just begun!

In October 2072 C.E, the real nightmare arrived. The first horde of newly evolved beasts also called demonic beasts attacked a newly built city on the European continent. After that, simultaneous attacks were launched on the remaining mankind from all five continents. The organization and the swiftness of these attacks clearly demonstrated that an intelligent being was directing all these attacks. The attacks came by land, sea and air. By the time mankind responded, almost three continents was ravaged by this demonic beast horde. The strength, organization and intelligence of these beasts really exceeded the expectations of humanity.

With the newly Enhanced Humans (Enhancers) leading the frontlines, humanity began to band together and fight back against these beasts. But they were totally routed. Their strength failed to compare to the rate of evolution of these demonic beasts. Now, normal guns and ammunitions were useless against these demonic beasts. Only high damage missiles and nuclear warheads were effective against them.

This caused humanity to begin using large-scale force such as nuclear bombs and hydrogen bombs to fight these monsters. Although a large part of the monsters were killed, more powerful savage beasts were created. By 2074 CE, humanity had been pushed back to the last continent, the continent that they had named Salvation Continent!

But when humanity was on the brink of extinction, a new savior arose. It was unknown where he came from, whether he was an extremely advanced Enhanced human (Enhancer), or another whole new species. His strength was simply earth shattering. A single fist from him could shatter mountains and a sword stroke could separate rivers. He was called Ares, the 'God of War'! He taught humanity's Enhancers a new method of swiftly increasing their strengths by hunting and absorbing the energy contained in demonic beast cores.

With him leading the frontlines, mankind staged its comeback and reclaimed most of the Salvation Continent building 10 Hope Cities all around. With this continent as cover, mankind began to stage its comeback and take the fight to the demonic beasts. Under the strength and exceptional leadership of Ares, humanity finally began to push the beasts back. Fortresses and Hope Cities were built on new lands that were reclaimed by mankind.

In just two years, humanity had partially reclaimed another continent, which was named the Ares Continent after the 'God of War'!

Just when humanity was in high hopes and thinking of being able to become the masters of earth once more, a new disaster struck.

A leader of the demonic beasts, a 15 meter huge Ice Breathing Dragon, surfaced out of nowhere and began to launch its counter attack. It had realized that with mankind's momentum, if it didn't take action personally, the demonic beasts would lose the battle or the domination of Earth. The final frontier between this Ice breathing dragon and the 'God of War' Ares happened just outside the Ares Continent. This battle once again demonstrated Ares' monstrous strength and abilities. He could unleash hellish fire from his attacks.

But despite this, this Ice breathing Dragon proved to be a tough nut to crack. After battling for ten days and ten nights, both Ares and the Ice Breathing Dragon disappeared! The life crystals left behind by these two showed that they were alive but all other traces of them had disappeared!

With their leaders missing, both sides withdrew to their strongholds. The new three leaders of the demonic beasts occupied the remaining three beast continents respectively. Mankind also settled on the two continents that they had reclaimed waiting for their leaders to arrive. An unofficial ceasefire agreement had been reached between mankind and the demonic beasts.

On 2082 C.E, 'God of War' Ares finally returned! But this time he didn't come alone. He came back with a strange man who he claimed was the strongest and smartest scientist he had ever seen. As for where he disappeared to, he never explained it to anyone!

But he didn't bring good news. Instead of taking the opportunity to extinguish the demonic beasts due to the absence of their leader, he advised humanity to retreat and rebuild their forces. He claimed that a bigger disaster was on its way to earth, and this disaster would surely wipe out the remaining visages of mankind on the planet if mankind's strength was not lifted by several levels.

With his return, he brought back various technologies that could drastically increase mankind's chances of survival. He brought back a technology that could further help increase the strength of the abilities of enhanced humans.

In addition to this, he brought back the Evolution potion, which was developed with the help of his new scientist friend. It could allow certain talented Enhanced humans who have exceptionally strong souls to further evolve developing an ability like Telekinesis. New humans that could evolve these abilities were called Evolved Humans or Evolvers!

This development further gave humanity more hope to survive the impending disaster. Even though humanity did not know where the impending danger was coming from, because of the prestige Ares held among humans, they still followed him.

After fifty years of development, humanity's strength had finally reached a level whereby they could compete with the beasts on Earth. Even though their number was still lesser then the demonic beasts, with the exception of the God of War, their high end strength was basically the same. But to Ares, this strength was far from enough. Enhancers formed about 39% of humanity's remaining population with evolvers making up only 1%! His goal was to make all of humanity to evolve!

At the end of 2133 C.E, 'God of War' Ares suddenly disappeared again. Before he disappeared, he suddenly announced an explosive news, telling the world that the evolutionary path of mankind was wrong, and at the price of his freedom, he found a new development path for human beings; Mankind's Second World!
