Chapter 29

As night went on, she did her daily duties when she ran into Ralthone he seemed to perceive her with disgust. She wasn't surprised she knew he never had her best interest in mind but for him to outwardly show his disdain made her feel unsettled. When she arrived at her chambers, she ate a small dinner and readied herself for Wesleynard. She wasn't sure what to expect but, she knew she has questions, and they needed answers. The door to her chambers opened, revealing Wesleynard in casual attire, looking as regal and commanding as ever. He locked eyes with her, his expression unreadable like usual. Once the door shut softly behind her she wasn't sure what compelled her, but she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a passionate kiss. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her close as he returned her kiss with equal fervor. Their tongues danced against each other's lips, their breaths mingling in the air between them. It was a moment of pure desire and longing, a reminder of the heat they shared despite the tension that loomed over them. Wesleynard was the one to break the kiss as he gently pressed her away, His desire for her was as clear, undiluted if he could have her now, he wouldn't hesitate but, between the two he knew better.

"I see you've recovered nicely from our encounter this morning," he said, his voice low and rumbling. "I apologize if my behavior was unbecoming of a knight." He bowed his head slightly in a show of respect.

Ana Sofia bristled slightly at his words she was growing increasingly frustrated at the situation surrounding them, to avoid more scorn she needed to come up with a solution, she motioned for him to take a seat in lounging area.

As he took his seat she took a deep breath, "I've been pondering what we discussed earlier, I believe I have a solution." She looked at him with determination, "We must wed." She said bluntly.

His eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't say a word. "I see," he replied, his voice carefully neutral. "And what led you to this conclusion?"

She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I've been thinking about the consequences of our relationship, both for the kingdom and for me personally," she explained. "And I don't trust Ralthone....he's plotting something. Advisor Mallorca advised me, and he has never led me a stray." She said resolutely.

Wesleynard seemed to shift in his chair, and she felt a blush creep up on her neck at the realization that she may be forcing a man into a marriage he, perhaps didn't want she waited with bated breath as she watched a small smile form on his lips.

"I see," he said, his voice still careful but with a hint of amusement. "And what about your oath to never marry for love again?" He teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Ana Sofia rolled her eyes, trying to hide her irritation. "That was before I met you."

She glanced at him at her heart nearly fell to her knees, in that moment she finally understood what love was. He gazed at her with such tenderness and adoration that it took her breath away. Her trust for him was not yet completely solidified but, maybe she could take a leap of faith and at least try.

"I would be honored, Your Majesty," he replied, his voice thick with emotion, "Though I must admit, I never thought you would be the one to propose again." She smiled weakly, feeling a mixture of joy and fear in her heart.

"Neither did I." She admitted sheepishly.

He took her wrist and pulled her onto his lap she gasped not expecting his sudden roughness she felt her heart begin to race as took note of his large smile. She burst into laughter she couldn't contain the happiness bursting from her, "I suppose it's too late to change my mind now," she teased, her voice barely above a whisper.

He leaned in close, his warm breath tickling her ear. "Never," he whispered back, his hand squeezing her waist gently.

Her head rolled back from his touch she felt a burning tingle spread across her spine as pressed his lips against her collarbone. Her brows furrowed as she tried to suppress the moans of pleasure.

"Wesleynard, stop that," she whispered, trying to sound stern. But her voice betrayed her as it came out breathy and needy. "We have more important things to discuss." She tried to regain her composure, pushing him away gently.

He smiled, a playful glint in his eyes. "Are you sure your Majesty? I think we can take a small break from plans?" he said in a hypnotizing manner.

This time her body betrayed her as she grinded against the hardness beneath her she gasped in surprise, her eyes wide with desire. "You're incorrigible," she whispered, unable to hide her amusement. "But alright, one small break won't hurt." She leaned in close, their faces mere inches apart. "What do you have in mind?"

His fingers slid underneath her thin robe as he eagerly pressed his thumb against her clit. Her hips bucked against his touch as his grin widened,

"How about we get a head start on producing an heir." Ana Sofia gasped, her eyes widening in surprise. "Wesleynard!" she exclaimed, trying to hide her arousal. "You can't just say things like that." His hand slid further up her body, teasing her nipples through her thin chemise.

"Oh, but I can." He leaned in closer, his warm breath tickling her ear. "And I will," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I will make love to you until we're both satisfied."

Ana Sofia felt her heart race and her body tremble under his touch. The anticipation grew in her stomach in one swift motion he undid his trousers and she sunk herself onto his cock. She groaned in slight pain and pleasure as he filled her completely. His hands gripped her hips tightly, guiding her movements as she began to ride him with a fierce determination. The sound of their heavy breathing filled the room, punctuated by the occasional moan or gasp of pleasure.

She couldn't stop herself she was blindly chasing her pleasure and he was more than willing to oblige. Her body moved in perfect synchrony with his, their rhythm unbroken. His hands slid down her back, cupping her bottom in his palms as he pressed her closer to him. Their bodies were one, their hearts beating in time. How long had it been since Ana felt pleasure of this magnitude if at all, she wondered she felt her mouth begin to drool as she continued to chase her most primal desires. Wesleynard wrapped his lips against one of her hardened nipples and this was all it took for her orgasm to come crashing down She screamed out his name, her body shuddering with pleasure as he held her tightly against him. He didn't hesitate to release his own seed into her, his face contorted in ecstasy. Their bodies trembled together as they rode out the aftershocks of their intense connection.

After a few moments, they both came back to reality, their breathing still ragged. Ana Sofia dismounted from Wesleynard, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of shame and desire. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with wonder.

"I-I've never felt that before with another person...," she admitted in a small voice. Wesleynard chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Neither have I, my queen," he replied, his voice low and husky. "I believe we've both just experienced something quite extraordinary."

As they shared a knowing look, Ana Sofia couldn't help but feel a sense of connection with him. It was as if they had shared a secret, one that bound them together in a way they couldn't explain.

That evening they spent the night exploring each other's bodies as they pushed themselves to the limit. They no longer felt shame or fear Ana knew this could end in disaster but for this moment and the foreseeable future she wanted to believe that all would prosper. The next morning, as the sun began to rise over the castle walls, Ana Sofia and Wesleynard found themselves entwined in each other's arms. Their naked bodies glistened with sweat and the scent of their lovemaking lingered in the air. They wasted no time in addressing the council of their decision to wed. As they stood there Ana Sofia looked at her members, she was trying to gauge their reaction to the news, but they seemed to be in shock.

Mallorca was the first to recover his composure, "Congratulations, Your Majesty. This is a wise decision indeed." He said with a small bow of his head. "We must now prepare for the wedding and the inevitable wars that will come."

Ralthone remained stoic, his expression unreadable. "I suppose congratulations are in order," he said, his voice cool and distant.

"May this union bring about the peace and prosperity that our kingdoms so desperately need." Ana

Sofia felt her chaste smile twitch, "Once the wedding is finalized your services as Regent will be terminated." She continued her fake charade of gratitude towards him, "I thank you for your service and look forward to working with you once again as a member of this council."

Ralthone's eyes narrowed, but he nodded stiffly. "Of course, Your Majesty. Whatever you wish." His voice was carefully neutral, but there was an undercurrent of barely contained anger.

As the meeting drew to a close, Ana Sofia could help nervous at Ralthone's response he ceded rather calmly. She glanced at Wesleynard who was leading the discussion at she felt awe as she watched him speak perhaps, she chose well.
