There might be a pillow between them, but Yun Shu could still feel Qi Zheng's presence as she lay there quietly.
Yun Shu inhaled a deep breath as she pulled the blanket to cover half of her face. Then, her movement halted when she sensed Qi Zheng turning beside her.
"Yun Shu..."
His voice startled her. With the light switched off, Yun Shu felt as if QI Zheng's voice was magnified even when he was whispering.
"Huh?" Yun Shu turned to look at Qi Zheng.
Her eyes had long adjusted to the dark surroundings. Through the dim light that came through the slightly gapped curtains, Yun Shu was able to see Qi Zheng's face.
Seeing the smile on his face made her heart beat fast.
