James Brown

After hours of traveling by bus, they finally arrived at the bus stop in Los Angeles and sat on the waiting chairs.

"I will get some food; I am starving." Tyler excused himself, and Lara leaned closer to Aaron.

"I saw you," she whispered, and he was confused.

"Inside the bus, you spent the entire trip reading from this book," she snatched the book from his bag and shoved it to him.

"Hey, give it back," Aaron scolded angrily. Lara read the book cover, and she was shocked.

"The Law of Thermodynamics: Being a Physicist of Obstacles"

Aaron snatched the book from her. "You should learn to mind your business." He was very pissed off because he considered his books very important.

He went through a difficult time yesterday just to steal this book from a bookstore.

"You study physics?" This was very strange because she didn't see Aaron as someone who goes to school.

"Meat pie." Tyler shoved two meat pies at them. Aaron picked up his bag and left without accepting it.

"Wait for us." Tyler quickly took his bag and followed.

"Who offended him?" He asked Lara, and she sneered.

"I just asked if he studied physics because I saw him reading a physics book for more than four hours."

"He loves physics, chemistry... Let's just say he loves science. Back home, he had a collection of physics and chemistry books; I am sure he read them all."

Aaron stopped and checked the time; it was noon, and they didn't have any place to stay in Los Angeles, so it was better they go ahead with their plan and leave immediately.

"Did you finish setting up the account?" Aaron inquired, and Tyler nodded.

"Great, let's change there," he pointed at a small, lonely corridor. They all walked there, and Lara went to the other side to slip into the beautiful designer gown Aaron got for her.

"Aaron, I have to admit you have good taste," she said happily before she joined them. Aaron was dressed in a blue suit, and he brushed his hair backward.

It made him look like a millionaire's son. Aaron looked at her before he scoffed.

"The dress was supposed to look better."

"So do you think it's ugly on me?" Lara hissed; she loved the dress and even appreciated him.

"What he means is you look ugly in the nice dress," Tyler said foolishly.

This hurt Lara, but she laughed it off. Maybe he was just trying to hurt her for snatching his book.

When they were done with their dressings, they sat down and went through their plan one more time. Tyler was meant to stay in this corridor and direct them while they moved and also delete every footage the camera catches of them.

The bank was just a few miles away. "Let's hurry; they go on break at 1 p.m.," Aaron said before he left with Lara, who held some documents.

"You remember the plan, right? This is a straightforward task, so if you forget your lines, then just smile," Aaron explained. He had a lot of confidence when he did a mission alone, but now he was with Lara and didn't want her to make things worse.

They stood in front of the bank at 12:59, then the employees left their work spots and hurried out because it was their break; the only available ones were a few staff and the security guards.

Aaron took out his phone and dialed Tyler's number because he needed to act like he was on a call: "Ris tu roga roga." He kept saying some rubbish, which he called Alstaricos.

He laughed and walked to the entrance, and the guards didn't stop him. Then a lady dressed in a white shirt and pencil skirt approached them.

"Excuse me, the workers are on break," she said, and Aaron didn't pay attention to her.

"Eskado billions," he added, and the lady was confused.

"Good day. I am Sylvie, his assistant. This man here is James Brown, the only son of a multimillionaire."

"A multimillionaire?" The word struck her. She scanned at Aaron, and she had to admit he was quite handsome, but he was very young, and she couldn't recognize him.

"Yes, he doesn't speak English. The only language he speaks is Alstaricos." Aaron was surprised that Lara didn't stutter; she still remembered her lines.

"Alstari what? Please have a seat, and I will check on something," she said politely. "Rigo shidon," Lara translated, and Aaron nodded before he sat on a chair with Aaron.

The lady walked to her desk and searched for James Brown on the internet; there was something written on him. It says he is the heir of a multimillion-dollar company, was born with a golden spoon, and speaks only Alstaricos.

This made the lady happy as she returned to them. "The manager will be back from break soon; please be patient."

Lara translated to Aaron, and he frowned. He said some rubbish, and Lara had to translate according to how it was planned: "He says he will leave once he receives an important call from his dad, so if the manager isn't back before then, that's on you guys."

The lady nodded. She was going to call the manager to come back. But first, she served them coffee.

The lady left them alone, as she needed to call the manager. According to the blueprint, they knew that this place didn't have a lot of rooms. Cash didn't make more than a day here; it's always transferred to the central bank, so there was not much security.

Aaron held his stomach and stood up, then walked down the corridor and had a look of being pressed and urgently needed to use the restroom. Lara sipped her coffee before she dipped her finger in her bag and dipped in the coffee.

She was aware that there was a security camera just above her, so she acted normally even though Tyler assured them that he was going to delete every footage. She still had to be careful.

"Excuse me," she signaled for one of the security guards to come forward.

"Yes miss"

"I am allergic to condensed milk; do you think it's in this coffee?" She asked, and the guard was confused. He stared at the coffee.

"I don't know, miss."

"Please have a taste, and let me know if it contains condensed milk."

The guard contemplated for a while before he picked up the coffee cup and drank it. "I think it has milk," he answered, and Lara pouted.

"And I already had a sip," she said, itching her neck, and the guard got worried.

"What can I do for you?"

"Take me to some private place," then she whispered, "I need to inject myself; I need to inject my butt."

The guard cleared his throat, and he looked around and said, "Please come with me."

Lara smiled and picked up her bag before she followed him. She walked past Aaron, who had already taken care of the camera and the lock in front of the cash room.

He nodded at Lara, who smiled. The guard took Lara to a room beside the cash room; there were no security cameras there.

"I will wait in front." He couldn't leave her all alone there because the cash room was just beside her. Lara nodded, and the guard went and stood at the door.

"5, 4, 3,..." she counted down, and the guard suddenly held his stomach. He urgently needed to use the restroom. "I will be back, ma'am," he informed Lara before he left.

"Those pills work; Aaron is a genius," she chuckled and checked her time. There were just five minutes left before the break was over.

She walked to the cash room, and the lock was indeed broken. How did Aaron do that? She wondered, then she looked around and remembered Aaron's words.

"The good thing about dollars is that just ten of them are enough for a comfortable life. And who will notice a petty cash in your bag?"

She smiled when she saw a lot of money on the table in stacks. Just as Aaron had instructed her, one stack was made of $1000, so she picked five and scattered them in her bag; her bag still had space.

So she picked another six and scattered them in her bag, took two stacks, and pulled her gown before sticking it in the rubber band around her thighs.

"Hurry and leave," Tyler said from the wireless device in her ears. With just one minute left before the break was over, she peeped out, and the corridor was still empty. So she walked out of the corridor and sashayed back to Aaron.

At that moment, Aaron received a call from Tyler, "Ryo gos papa." He stood up, and the lady hurried to them.

"The manager is here," she said, but Aaron walked out of the bank.

"His dad called, but we might be back tomorrow," Lara apologized before she hurriedly followed him.

"Oh my God, we lost such a big client," the lady pouted before she checked their empty coffee cups. Aaron had made sure to pour away Lara's coffee so that it couldn't be used as evidence to trace theft to them.
