Chapter 5: FAR FROM HOME!
A few months have gone by and clementine, Omid and Christa decide to head to the north since there's a rumour going around about a place called Wellington where it's safe and walker-free. Upon travelling Christa and Omid begins to talk about what they would name the baby, Omid wants to name the baby after himself but Christa said no. Omid turns around to clementine to get her opinion on the matter.
Clementine: What if the baby is a girl?.
Omid: If the baby is a girl we'll call her Christa.
Christa: we're not naming the baby Omid or Christa.
Clementine giggles as Omid and Christa continue arguing about baby names. Omid spots a restaurant and tells clementine to be careful, clementine goes into the bathroom to clean up first, she checks the toilets to see if any walkers are hiding inside. After carefully checking the bathroom clementine puts down her gun on the sink and takes a bottle of water out of her bag and wet a piece of cloth with it to wipe her face. The water bottle drop and clementine went to pick it up but suddenly someone enters the bathroom. Clementine realized that she had left her gun on the bathroom sink, clementine peeps out to see if the person was gone but the person was standing right in front of her.
Young girl: Come out with you're hand up.
Clementine: I don't want any trouble.
Young girl: Give me everything you have.
Clementine: That's all I have and that's my gun.
Young girl: Well it's my gun now.
The young girl searches clementine bag for food. Omid enters the bathroom quietly and slowly tries to sneak up on the young girl but then the bathroom door made a loud sound when it was closing, the girl turns around and shot Omid without hesitation. Christa heard the gunshot and run towards the bathroom, Christa opens the bathroom door and see Omid on the floor laying dead' she shoots the young girl then asked clementine what happened. Clementine explained what happened and ever since then she blames clementine for Omid's death.
A few more weeks passed since then.
Clementine: So is this how it will be? Won't you talk to me?
Christa: Talk to you about what? About how you got my boyfriend killed.
Clementine: I know it's my fault.
Christa: Look let's just find somewhere to camp for the day.
Clementine: Sure.
(MEANWHILE BACK A NAVINE)
Klaus: Lee, come check it out.
Lee: Check out what?
Klaus: you're a new arm...Alice said that they should go to the medical facility so that she can attach it.
A few minutes later Lee enters Alice office so that she can attach the robotic arm.
Alice: So...what do you think? it looks pretty cool right.
Lee: How did you make this.
Alice: my dad taught me. He was an engineer and a genius.
Lee: Thanks, you Alice.
Alice: You're welcome.
Klaus: How does he put it on.
Alice laughs then tells Lee to lay down on the couch.
Lee: Is it gonna hurt?.
Alice: I don't know but probably since I have to push these iron rods into your shoulder and connect it with the robotic arm. But luckily for you, we have analgesics.
Klaus: Ananagesick?
Alice: It's a pronounced anesthetic moron.
Lee: Can I ask you two a question.
Alice and Klaus: Sure.
Lee: How come you guy has all these supplies and this big fortress.
Alice: my brother and father found this land. My dad bought it and build this house for me and my brother.
Klaus: It's our vacation house.
Lee: You guys must've been really rich.
Alice pushes one of the rods into Lee's arm, Lee cries out in pain and bite his shirt. Klaus holds Lee's hand and told him that it's almost complete.
Klaus: Our parents are rich or were since money means nothing now.
Alice: Our mom was a scientist and a very famous one.
Lee: I understand now....how many rods are you going to put in my arm.
Alice: Four (4).
Alice pushes another one of the rods into Lee's arm, Lee cries out once again in pain.
Klaus: Lee, how did you lose the lower part of your arm.
Lee: I trust you two but I'm still afraid to say it.
Alice pushes another one of the rods into Lee's arm, with only one rod left to go.
Alice: You can trust us.
Lee: I got bit.
Klaus: By a walker?.
Lee: Yes.
Klaus: Then how comes you're not a walker.
Lee: I don't know.
Alice: You might be immune to the virus.
Alice pushes the last rod into Lee's arm and wraps it up with bandages. Lee sat up and tries to move his new arm a little. It might take a while' Alice said. Klaus walks towards the exit and said thanks for telling us what happened, but let's just keep it between us if anyone else knows about this they'll be coming for you. Lee nods his head and lays back down.
