The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband

"Are you not scared it might be poisoned?" Abrielle's asked Cedric who drank the wine without hesitation. Cedric leaned closer to her with his head crooked on her neck, his warm intoxicating breath trickling on her skin. His hoarse voice came out lightly. "If the poison is given by my wife, I will drink it without hesitation. It will be an honour to die in your hands." Abrielle's mouth fell agape, stunned by his words. What was wrong with his head? Cedric then bit the tip of her ear to distract her from her thoughts. "Now I have done your bidding, dear wife; it is time you do mine. How about we get rid of this restriction on your body?" Abrielle's face flushed red. This sly scum. She could not wait to kill him. **** Being transmigrated to your favourite novel would be anyone's dream, well, except for Hazel. Failed poisoning attempt

Abrielle was left breathless, ' what the hell just happened?' her thoughts screamed. She struggled to sit up but her body was heavy. In between her legs, down to her thigh, were already sticky.

She was completely aroused, and for a split second, she would have given in to the devil. She didn't know if she should be mad or not because he left.

This was frustrating. After she managed to sit up and catch her breath, she tried to get up from the bed, but her legs were wobbly. She fell on the ground, and as if the goddess was on her side, she saw her earrings. She reached out for it under the bed while still lying on the floor.

It was a bit far off, and she had to crawl under the bed before she could successfully reach it. While crawling out, she mistakenly bumped her shoulders with the bed, and it hurt so bad she screamed. "Ahhh, bloody hell." But quickly covered her mouth with her hands.

She should not be using cuss words like that in this world. There was a knock on the door; one of the guards on watch must have heard her scream. "Are you alright, your Highness?" She heard the voice ask with urgency.

"I am fine, no need to bother." She urgently said, but dear God, her shoulders were aching. She could not let anyone find out about the poison or she would be charged with treason for attempting to kill a member of the royal family.

Her shoulders were red, and it was obvious it would have a bad swell tomorrow. She had to think of a story to tell the maids tomorrow.

Ignoring the pain in her shoulder she opened the vial containing the antidote. Her life was more important at the moment. The liquid dropped from the earrings into her mouth.

"Why is it one drop?" She asked out loud with her brows furrowed. That was when she realized the earrings had broken. She was exasperated, maybe a drop would be enough to cure her.

She leapt back to bed and fell on it. What a day. Her entire body was exhausted. Abrielle started to run over different plans in her head; it was difficult for her to find a good position to sleep, thanks to the pain in her shoulders.

 ******

The sound of the waves from outside, with the blinding rays of light coming in from the window, woke Abrielle from sleep.

Her long lashes fluttered open when hit by the sun's rays, but she quickly closed it back, irritated by it. God her shoulders were aching so badly. When did her little apartment have this much lighting? She wondered.

It took a while to adjust her eyes to the bright lights. The first question that popped into her head was where the heck she was because she could not recognize her environment.

Her ears caught the sounds of waves which made her more confused because her small school apartment was in the middle of the city.

While Abrielle was momentarily confused about where she was because of her mixed-up memories. The maids arrived at her door to help her in the morning. They expect the bed covers to be in a bad situation because Abrielle had her first night with Cedric.

Unknown to them, the blood stains there were not from her being deflowered but the fact that Cedric bit her last night.

They knocked against the door drawing her attention to it. "Your Highness, Good morning. We are coming in to serve you."one of the maids said as the door opened. That was when all the memories of what happened the previous day of dying and being transmigrated as her book Villainess Abrielle hit her.

It was not a nightmare and she was stuck here with Cedric. "My goodness, are you alright, your highness? Last night must have been strenuous." The head maid exclaimed seeing Abrielle puffed black eyes and bruised shoulders.

Poor Cedric had no idea his image was getting further ruined by being known as a monster in bed. In reality, Abrielle's eyes were black because she could not sleep last night due to her injured shoulders.

"I need my shoulders to be treated, it hurts like hell." Her voice came out like a whimper because she was indeed in pain. Her shoulders had a horrible bluish-purple bruise; Abrielle was a spoilt duke's daughter with very fragile skin.

The maids quickly got to work and drew a warm bath for her. While in the bath, they treated her bruised shoulders and changed the covers.

She had to go through an exhausting process of getting dolled up again; after treatment, the pain in her shoulders reduced a bit, but it was still there. The maids kept on giggling about Cedric being very active in bed, and Abrielle had to hold back from not scoffing.

Didn't anyone see him leave the room last night, maybe he had another room on the ship. She wondered. "You will be having breakfast on the deck with his highness. He is already awaiting your presence." The head maid informed her with a slight bow.

Abrielle was admiring her reflection in the mirror. She nodded at the maids, and they led her out of the room. Since it was a bit chilly on board, she had to wear a dress that covered her a lot, but it was so heavy she could barely walk in it without assistance.

On her way on deck, she could not help but admire the ship; despite the setting, this ship was truly impressive, better than anything she could have imagined.

Finally, she arrived at the spot where Cedric was waiting for her. He was dressed quite casually with a black shirt and a pair of trousers. His top buttons were undone giving out a peek of his toned chest.

Even with his gold mask that covered half of his face, Cedric was gorgeous. The mask didn't reduce his charms but just added a mysterious vibe. How could someone so handsome be so cold?

"The princess has arrived." The maid announced her presence, and Abrielle slightly bowed to Cedric while the maid gave a full bow.

Cedric's gold eyes sparkled, and he held out his hand for Abrielle. "You look lovely my darling." He gave her the first-ever compliment that made her suspicious. Why was he acting nice, and why was he still fit?

Abrielle's mouth parted then closed; he did not look like he was affected by the poison in the least way. Her heart started beating fast as she nervously gave him her hand.

Was he acting nice because he found out about the poison and wanted to get back at her? Cedric held her hands and pulled her closer with his arm wrapping her slender waist. A lopsided smirk was hanging from his face as he said. "You look like you did something wrong dear princess. Why are you trembling?"
