"Young master Kian, you should have taught a lesson to the arrogant kid called Aru too," the grandson of the Medicine Garden's chief suggested.

He had been beaten up twice because of the kid, and the pain was still fresh in his mind. So, he hated Aru to the bone.

Kian, no, the demon who heard him, smirked in response.

"I will do it tomorrow," he promised while gazing at the clouds above.

"Thank you, young master."

Kian just nodded, hearing his gratitude-filled words.

However, hiding beneath his smiling face were complex webs of nefarious thoughts.

'Tomorrow will be the day we have been waiting for,' he said in his mind as excitement glazed over his eyes.

He had injured Maya and sent her to the Medicine Garden as asked. The rest was up to his fellow demons to take care of.
