The Two-Faced Princess of Gold is Sealed

[MATURE CONTENT] People only see what they want to see. If you know what others expect to see from you, and even if it's now how shit really works you still make them see what they want, they will be influenced without even knowing. All because they only see what they want to see, they only filter what they want to hear. That is why everyone in Hallstein Academy perceive me in a light that does not suit me, because I made them put me under that precise light, I made them perceive me that way, I made them put me in that box. A glittery box made of gold, money, ambition, arrogance, narcissism, goddess complex, futility, lack of academical intelligence, and viciousness. A box that says I am an unapproachable, untouchable cold, heartless bitch, who is born in the richest un-natural family in the world, raised like a Queen to one day take over as the heiress, and who probably doesn't even know what eating a humble pie means. A box that calls me Chione Al-Hilli Abdelaal, the evil and self-proclaimed Queen of the academy, who enjoys bullying the oh-so-pure-and-precious selfless and humble Cleo Hayes, the chosen Princess of the academy, loved by all, glorified, and who has it all even if she's not that rich, or doesn't come from ancient money. She gets the friends, the boys, the girls, the good grades with her genius mind, and the admiration of all the professors and the extra care of the headmaster. All for standing against me, like a courageous ruler would against a tyrant.

I covered my face with second hand embarrassment.

But then, she sucked on air until her cheeks were chubby and full like balloons, aimed up, and when she let it out, I had to jump away from my chair given how scorching hot the fire was, it went high enough to touch the ceiling that's ten meters away from us, and to burn it and it would have made a whole through it had it not been for the barrier the headmaster set in the room. When it vanished, she blushed hard, "Oops, it's been more than 10 years since I last did this, I forgot how strong it can be."

"Oh, shit," we all cried in dismay.

"You really are a dragon," the headmaster gasped.

"So it seems. It's okay to do this since I'm only in 20% of my power, and barely, because had I been in 100%, the entire Academy would have burned just now, and you would all be dead," she giggled. "But I am used to using a soft breath," then she sucked just a bit of air and she let out up, the fire went just a meter above her head. "All it takes is control, I try not to over do, because I don't really know how strong I really am even with just 20%, I have, indeed, been acting weak. Not just because of you all, or because I'm scared of what I could damage if I went all out with what I have now, but because out here, the demons outside could feel me."

"What about under the mountain?" I asked.

She met my eyes, "No. They can't feel me there. That's why I'm there everytime I have some free time longer than two hours. But I'm afraid of burning the things I have there, the precious things left behind by the dragon who once lived in that lair."

"Will we be able to read the books?" Dean asked.

"Do you understand ancient draconian?" She asked serious.

"How ancient?" The headmaster asked.

"Eighty-seven millennials ago," she exclaimed.

"No," we all said.

"Then you can't, especially because there are five different diversions of ancient draconian and three modern draconian, my dad taught me everything before he died, because again, I am a prodigy. And," she tilted her head, "it took a tool of him here in the surface, and he couldn't use it all the time, but he had the ability to stop time."

"Time?" Headmaster gasped in awe.

A nod, "My dad was the best, a prodigy himself. So, he used that magic wisely to teach me things, such as the languages, and things about the skylander dragon kingdom," there was a hint of sadness in her voice. "He promised we would go to every place in there together one day, but he's gone, and I'm as alone as I could be," she stared down at her hands. "I put him in danger, and now I put you."

"We'll deal with that, stop being self-deprecating, it's giving me chills," I growled at her. "Aren't you a almighty dragon? Be arrogant and confident, Tara."

"I'm currently crippled," she mocked.

"Not crippled, you're sealed, and it's fading."

"As slow as I ate your mom," she scoffed and everyone but my friends gasped at her joke.

"Not the mom joke, there are limits, Tara."

She clicked her tongue and glared at me, "No fun."

"You have the name of the chick from Scream," because of course Kento, who has nothing better to say, would say that.

And she barked a laugh, "I'm surprised you didn't say that earlier, took you long enough, paws," she mocked him and he blushed. "My dad taught me how to control my toddler dragon power, which I don't have anymore, not in my control, but it's bound to be my mate's if I ever find them."

I don't even want to think about that. "Toddler power?"

She nodded to me, "Every dragon, before they grow to evolve their true nature at 10, they have one special ability, then this ability vanishes when they began to evolve, and it'll be their mate's when they consummate the mating bond. That's why it's so special when a dragon mates another dragon, because each will have the other's primary magic. That's also why baby dragons are so overly protected, because if a demon gets their hands on them, they can steal their primary magic away, by sucking their soul, which is why demons starve for baby dragons the most. Also why the dragons have long vanish from the surface, as they are untouchable up there."

"A demon can steal a baby dragon's magic?" Lawrence asked horrified. "That's cruel in so many bloody levels."

"Only arch demons can," she said. "So, the high demons work to get the soul, not for themselves, but to go and give it to their lord, depending on who they serve. I would risk to say that those five high demons out there, work for the same arch demon that the one who attacked us all those years ago did. Dad told me that arch demons are vengeful, and they hate almost having something precious and losing it at arm length. So, this arch demon is definitely trying to haunt me, because he couldn't have me 16 years ago.

"He definitely knows about the seal in me, which is why he couldn't find me then, and he found me as soon as the seal faded enough to show him where I am. Hence why he must have sent those cunts here. He knows I'm potentially weak at the moment, thus why he is trying to get me right now, while I can't fight, but if I break the seal, things will be different. I mean, I think. Again, I could be wrong, each of the high demons could represent a different arch demon, and they could all be after me just because I am my father's daughter, and of the Moonborn bloodline. After all the only dragons to ever kill an arch demon, were from my bloodline, my ancestors."

"And what was your toddler magic?" Violetta asked.

"Starlight magic."

I don't think I've ever heard of that, "Starlight?"

Her eyes met mine and she nodded, "Divine dragon magic is something normal un-naturals from the surface cannot understand. Just like the power the arch demons possess, they are as different from yours as ours are, our kinds do rival one another after all. Like dad's time magic, or how he told me his toddler magic had been spiritual magic. That is, for his initial 10 years, he was able to get into the spiritual world that exists within the veil that separates the natural from the un-natural world, and an even thicker veil that separates life from death, and he was able to communicate with the beings inside and borrow their strength for a while."

"The spiritual world is real thing?" Dean asked.
