LOOKING FOR JANETTE

"We have not found the girl,Janette, My king"Evans said.

Evans has always hated his father because of how his father treated his mom he knows everything happening in the palace and he knew how his father,Adam,killed his mom and he could never forgive him even though his father is in his

grave, that hatred for his father is still deep within him

It has been 10yrs now and the girl is no where to be found he could still remember her face clearly just like the first day

"Then find her!!"Carlos said

Barret came in the throne room and looked at the boy whom he found in the well that has become a full grown and handsome young man.

"Are you still looking for her, Carlos can't you find another maiden out there".Barret has always wanted Carlos to get a wife for himself cause the boy look so lonely all by himself .

"Barret if not that girl,I will end up a bachelor for the rest of my life and of course you won't get to see your grandchildren so I also think you should join in the search"Carlos said instructing the guard to go

"Your parent and definitely ,I, won't be happy Carlos don't you want your own blood to continue your throneship"Barret has always tried to see reason with Carlos even if it means bringing up his dead parent name.

"Barret the only thing you need now is a wife or a concubine or mistress because I can see you are too bored or if I may say lonely that's why you are too involved in my life" Carlos said getting down from his throne

"If you may excuse me ,Barret I have work to do,we should continue this, when I get back"

A girl with green eyes and black hair that cascaded to her waist ,was walking to go home because her mother needs to start cooking to prepare dinner is waiting at home for her what she didn't know was that all single men in her hometown has been looking in her direction but were so afraid because of the way she rejects them in the reason that....she needs to take care of her mother

Janette loved her mother and ever since her father died things has been really hard for them her mother had to go to the market to sell potatoes ,they grew potatoes In their farmland and it is there only source of their livelihood "janette,Janette!!"her best friend interrupted her thought

"I have been calling you for some time now Janette where does that your little mind always wander...you haven't been visiting for sometime now "Ariel said sadly

"I have been busy Ariel and you know I have been helping my mother she's all alone but I promise I will make time to visit you "

Ariel held her friend's hand and said "that will be good,you know you need to make time for yourself Ariel you are still young, live life my friend"

"I have heard and I promise to ponder on all you say but I really need to go my mother will be waiting for me"janette ran off

janette gently opened the door and went to her mother in the kitchen and hugged her from behind

"I'm back mother" she said

"what kept you so long janette I've been waiting for you"martha asked her daughter removing her daughter hands and facing her

" Oh,mother you worry too much,I just met ariel on my way and we discussed "

Martha knew her daughter had been working really hard not to make her feel lonely and she knew her daughter has been rejecting men who made moves on her because of her while Martha was still in her thought

"and ariel told me to go out more.."janette said

when Martha ear caught what her daughter said

"You should go out more janette, you are already 22 and more than old enough to get married I am already in my husband home....." she paused and held her daughter cheek

" and you also need to be in your husband home,give him children, you are a woman and a day will come you won't be able to give birth I know you worry for me, janette,but worry not I am more than capable to care for my self " she said looking at her daughter.
