Chapter 11

Fuck.” Robert Louis cursed under his breath when he saw the soldiers surrounding him.

He hit his hand on the floor and lowered his head because he was angry at himself for getting caught by the trap he raised his head to look at them again, then he stood up.

“Fine, you caught me!” Robert Louis said to himself He yelled out angrily at the soldiers, one of them stepped forward to grab his hand and another soldier joined and they both took him back.

They took him to the ruler and when they got in they threw him on the floor. Elias was already summoned and he was on his way to the house.

The ruler sat on his chair while looking at Robert Louis face, he was trying to figure out who Robert Louis is and why he was brought to him.

“He doesn’t look like a thief.” The ruler said to himself and sat down.

He looked at the head warrior and the head warrior nodded his head and moved forward he stood beside Robert and raised Robert head with his sword.

When he raised Robert head the ruler was able to have a clearer view of Robert Louis. When he was done looking at him he nodded again and the warrior stopped raising his head.

“What is going on here?” The ruler asked them and turned to look at the other warriors standing behind Robert Louis they surrounded him like he was a very dangerous criminal.

“We found him when he was trying to escape.” One of the soldiers said to the ruler, the ruler turned to look at Robert Louis again when he heard what they said.

“I wasn’t escaping.” Robert Louis said to himself and raised his head up. When he raised his head the soldiers were all shocked no one dares to raise his head and look at the ruler when he is talking else you lose your head.

“How dare you!” The head warrior shouted and drew out his sword, he was about to chop off Robert Lois head, that moment Elias walked in.

“Stop!!” The ruler yelled out and immediately the head warrior lowered his sword though he was very angry with Robert Louis and he had in mind that he’ll be the one that’ll eventually kill Robert Louis.

The head warrior raised his head to look at the ruler and he was surprised to see that the ruler was looking at him, he did not bother to argue about it he stepped back angrily.

“Who are you, and why were you running away?” The ruler asked Robert Louis. The warriors were surprised because the ruler the know is never so nice with his words.

Robert seems brave but the moment the sword was drawn out he died twice in his mind. He felt relieved when he saw that at least the ruler stopped his killing by himself so he is safe for now.

Robert turned side abs he saw Elias standing at the other side, they both had eye contact. Elias know the kind of ruler they have is not a patient one if he losses it they’ll both be dead.

Elias was trying to give Robert Louis a signal but obviously Robert Louis could not understand the signal Elias was trying to give him.

“Are you not going to answer me?” The ruler said sounding angry already, Robert raised his head to look at the ruler again. The ruler was comfortable to see Robert Louis look at him in the eye because no one ever dared to do such a thing.

And when the sword was drawn out he looked at Robert Louis face and he noticed Robert Louis didn’t look scared at all, he was already admiring something’s about Robert Louis which is totally unlike him.

The head warrior noticed the way the ruler was staring at Robert Louis and he could sense that the ruler was admiring Robert Louis.

“He is an intruder and he deserves to be killed!” The head warrior shouted abs the other warriors echoed it for him, Elias was getting scared when he saw the reaction of the warriors.

“Are they crazy? Do I look like an intruder?” Robert Louis said to himself and looked at the warriors shouting that they kill him for intruding.

“He is not an intruder!” Elias shouted abs the moment the warriors heard him they kept quiet, Elias legs were vibrating while he was walking forward.

“What are you doing?” Robert Louis asked him almost in a whisper, Elias pretended like he did not hear what Robert Louis was saying.

The ruler looked lost seeing Elias step forward. The head warrior noticed the ruler looked confused so he stepped forward.

“This is the young man that was hiding the intruder.” The warrior said to the ruler and it became clear to the ruler who Elias is.

“Okay, so… who is he and why is he not saying anything?” The ruler asked Elias. Meanwhile, Robert was still looking for a way to stop Elias from talking to the ruler because he could sense the fear in Elias and he know how scared Elias is when it comes to dying.

“Why is he doing this?” Robert Louis asked himself and turned to look at Elias.

“Sir he is my distant relative who lost his voice, he cannot

talk for now.” Elias went on his knees and explained to the ruler.

The ruler was confused when he heard what Elias said, there is no way a young man like Robert can be dumb, he looks completely normal.
