Tóm tắt

Alex Graves never expected his last day at the office would end with him transmigrating into the Marvel Universe. He had always been a fan of superheroes and their epic battles, but now he’s stuck living among them, armed with nothing but a mysterious cheat system: the Lottery Wheel. This mystical wheel, visible only to him, allows him to earn powers from both Marvel and DC universes, but at a cost – he must interfere with the natural flow of events, risking exposure with every move. The more chaos he creates, the more points he earns, upgrading the wheel from Silver, to Platinum, to the almighty Gold, where god-like powers await. Cautious and paranoid, Alex knows that revealing his secret would be his downfall. He plays his cards close to his chest, even hiding his true nature from the likes of Doctor Strange, the Ancient One, and the cosmic beings who monitor reality. In this world, knowledge is power, but so is secrecy. From barely surviving encounters with low-level villains to becoming a silent force in titanic battles alongside Iron Man, Thor, and the Avengers, Alex must choose his moments wisely, spinning the wheel only when necessary. Will he gain Spider-Man’s abilities? Iron Man’s tech genius? Or perhaps the speed of the Flash or Superman’s god-like strength? Each spin holds the potential for greatness—or disaster.

Chapter 1Chapter 1: Welcome to the MCU, Sucker

AUTHOR POV: This is my new novel, guys. Been searching for a good marvel fanfiction but to no avail. So here you are readers, yes and I created one. Enjoy.

________________________________________

Alex Graves woke up with a splitting headache. His eyes fluttered open as he tried to get his bearings, but the intense light of the sun forced him to squint. It felt like his head had been run over by a truck, and for a moment, he wondered if this was some weird hangover. The last thing he remembered was falling asleep after binging superhero movies all night.

He groaned, rolling onto his side. Beneath him, the ground wasn't the soft mattress of his cheap apartment bed. It was rough, gritty. Sand? He blinked and looked around, realizing that he was lying on a beach. But not just any beach—this was clearly something straight out of a postcard, with pristine water and a skyline in the distance. It wasn't until he glanced at that skyline that his heart skipped a beat.

There, shining in the sun, was a massive tower with a distinct logo plastered across the side: Stark Tower.

"No way," Alex mumbled. "That… that can't be real."

Panic immediately set in as he sat upright, his head spinning. Stark Tower was impossible, fictional, the stuff of comic books and movies. Yet there it stood, looming over the cityscape like a monument to a reality that should not exist.

"Okay," Alex muttered, standing up and brushing the sand off his clothes. "Okay, deep breaths. You're just dreaming. Any second now, you're going to wake up in your bed, and this will all be some weird dream."

He pinched his arm, hard.

Nothing.

Alex looked around again. The beach stretched endlessly in both directions, the city sitting calmly on the horizon. His mind raced, but he knew one thing for sure: this wasn't a dream. Somehow, he had ended up in the Marvel Universe. The real Marvel Universe, or at least something that looked like it.

"Crap," he muttered. "Crap, crap, crap."

Before he could even begin to process how he'd gotten here—or more importantly, how he was going to survive in a world filled with gods, monsters, and superheroes—something caught his eye. A faint ding echoed in his ears, and in front of him, as if projected out of thin air, a transparent panel appeared, floating just a few feet from his face.

[Congratulations! You've been selected for the Lottery System. Earn points by interfering with minor and key events in the Marvel Universe and spin the wheel to gain powers! Careful though, your actions may change the course of history.]

Alex stared at the floating text, completely dumbfounded.

"A cheat system?" he mumbled. His mind raced, flipping through memories of all the web novels and fanfics he had read. He had seen systems like this before, but only in stories. Now, he was living it.

Before he could fully process what was happening, the panel shifted. A spinning wheel appeared in the middle of the display, segmented into different colors: silver, platinum, and gold. The words underneath the wheel read:

[You currently have 0 points. You can spin the Silver Wheel once you earn 50 points.]

"Of course there are points," Alex muttered. "There are always points."

It was starting to make sense now. He had somehow transmigrated into the Marvel Universe, and this system—this Lottery Wheel—was his ticket to survival. But it wasn't going to come easy. From what the panel said, he would need to earn points by messing with the timeline. And that… was dangerous.

If there was one thing Alex knew about the Marvel Universe, it was that messing with the natural flow of events could get you killed. Quickly. There were cosmic beings who watched over the timeline, and if he wasn't careful, Doctor Strange or the Sorcerer Supreme might sense something was off. Or worse, cosmic entities like the Living Tribunal or the Watchers could come after him.

Still, what choice did he have? Without powers, he wouldn't last a day in this universe. New York alone was practically a magnet for alien invasions and supervillain attacks. Without some kind of cheat, he'd end up as collateral damage in no time.

Alex took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. He needed to think rationally. Panicking wouldn't help, and right now, the only thing he could control was how he interacted with this system.

"Alright," he said aloud, more to himself than to the system. "I need points. Fifty points to spin the Silver Wheel, which means I need to start interfering with the timeline. But not too much. I can't mess with anything major… yet."

He stood there on the beach for a moment longer, staring out at the city skyline. His mind raced through potential events he could interfere with. The Battle of New York was still years away, assuming this timeline followed the MCU movies. He had some time before things went completely off the rails.

For now, he needed to lay low, gather information, and figure out exactly where he was in the timeline. The panel in front of him flickered slightly, drawing his attention again.

[Reminder: You can check your points and progress at any time by accessing the System Panel. Good luck!]

The panel vanished, leaving Alex alone with his thoughts. He took another deep breath and started walking toward the city. His clothes were dirty and disheveled, but he didn't care. He had bigger things to worry about now.

---

By the time Alex reached the outskirts of the city, it was well into the afternoon. The city was bustling with life, and for a moment, Alex was struck by how normal everything seemed. People were going about their daily routines, completely unaware of the superheroes, gods, and cosmic forces that lurked just out of sight.

He blended into the crowd, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. If anyone asked, he'd say he was just another tourist. No one paid him any attention as he wandered the streets, his mind still spinning from the events of the day.

As he walked, he kept an eye out for any signs of where he was in the MCU timeline. Billboards and newsstands flashed headlines about Stark Industries, and he saw an advertisement for a new piece of tech from Tony Stark. That was a good sign. If Stark was still in the tech business, it meant Iron Man had probably already happened, but The Avengers was still in the future.

Alex sighed in relief. He had time. He didn't need to rush into anything too dangerous just yet.

For now, he would focus on earning his first 50 points. That would be the first step. After all, he wasn't about to interfere with world-altering events without some powers of his own. If this Lottery System was his only way to survive, he was going to play it smart.

"No need to go full hero mode," he muttered to himself. "Just keep a low profile, earn points, spin the wheel, and survive."

As he disappeared into the crowded streets of New York, Alex couldn't help but smile grimly to himself. He was in the Marvel Universe now, but unlike everyone else, he had the Lottery Wheel. And with that, he just might survive the madness to come.
