Blacksmith Lesson(2)

"I will prepare the anvil and a pair of hammers, and some metal strips", said my father.

"I have my hammer. It is my nascent weapon", Thorne said in quick succession.

"So, you have retained your memory?"

"Yes, and I think we should be careful about how Azriel behaves in the future and with whom he associates in the future because his passives and his ability to bring me to life can be hazardous for him in the future. Moreover, I think he will summon more people like me in the future."

"I was worried about it. But after I heard what you said I can be relieved because you will be there to guide him in the future on how to adapt to the outside world."

I can understand where they are coming from, but I have my judgment as well and I trust my judgment. But they won't trust my words because who would trust a 5-year-old kid who has no outside world experience? And if I say I have my past life's memory then my parents can think I am not their son but someone else who possessed their not born kid's soul. This is such a dilemma!

"Don't worry, I will guide him because he is my only chance for my revenge but I will work on it alone."

"What do you mean to say that I will work on it alone? I am your summoner. Your problem is my problem and we are a team.", I interceded whatever Throne was saying.

"It's a lot of risks, and they are quite powerful. Leave it for now because that will be for the future."

"I think we can work it out in the future as well, but before that, you both need to get powerful to see that day."

With that being said my father went on his way to work.

"Azriel, please read those pages carefully. Throne has made it for you, so treat it seriously. I will introduce Throne to the neighbors. Throne is it ok if I address you as Azriel's cousin from far?"

"Yes, Aunty it is ok"

"Wait before we go let's change your clothes and freshen you up for it."

I went to the table in the common room and started reading the papers that Throne wrote. I went through it fast to get a gist of the contents of the papers. It is mainly about how to determine the elemental affinity of various ingredients and their importance and lastly, it mentioned some interactions between ingredients.

While I was going through the papers I saw Throne coming out of the room with a new outfit and I have to say he has a buff physical structure despite being a 6-year-old boy. Wait! I forgot to ask his age.

"Throne, what's your age now?"

"I am 5 years old."

"Wait you are of the same age as I am?"

"I think it has to do something with your weird summon. It has some hidden passives and we need to explore that."

"So I see you the same age as my son. I will say you are 1 year older than Azriel is that ok? I think they would believe that since you have a good physique.", my mother said while giving me a look at me.

"Mom, I have a good physique as well."

"Yes, yes that's the reason you don't go to play with other kids."

"Mom, I am gifted as you and Dad said, I should spend time to hone it than playing around like a kid."

Coming close to me, and flicking my forehead, she said, "You are a kid as well. Don't forget that, kid! Let's go Throne"

While holding my forehead I saw she went to meet the neighbors with Throne.

"Tsk! I am not a kid!", I shouted in protest.

I started reading the pages after I couldn't see both of them.

Time passed, and I didn't feel that time passed.

My mother and Throne came back after some hours and along with her, she brought a little menace.

The menace's name is Eira. She is 2 years older than me, but she is more childish than a person who is 2 years younger than me. Ok, that might be an exaggeration, but she always annoys me and tells her story of playing around with other people. Like I should have regretted that I didn't play with them.

"What are you reading?"

"I am reading some important stuff."

"What's the important stuff?"

"An important stuff."

"What's important?"

"Mom?"

"Aunty! He is not talking properly with me!"

"Mom, it is important stuff. You know it."

"Come on, Azriel, show her the papers. You and Eira can discuss and you might be surprised because of her input. It will help both of you."

"Ok, here are the papers I have already read. I am planning to learn blacksmithing in the future, so these papers are regarding that."

"Oh", I was surprised she didn't ask any more than a slight affirmation.

She started reading the papers as well.

Throne went into the kitchen intending to help my mother, but as far as I know, my mother will kick him out and will not accept his help.

I guessed it right. I saw Throne walking out from the kitchen.

He sat beside us and said, "If you have any doubts you can ask me. I mean both of you."

"Oh, you know blacksmithing as well?"

I snickered upon hearing the question.

"Yes, I started learning blacksmithing almost a year ago, so I might be able to guide both of you on it."

So, we both started learning things from the pages and asked questions along the way when we were in doubt.

During lunchtime, we took a break and had our lunch, and started reading it again after lunch.

After 2-3 hours we took a break and decided to stop studying the pages for today, and we accompanied Eira to her place. She said she will visit my place again tomorrow, and honestly, I don't want that. But I can't change her mind, so I allowed it.

By the time we reached home, it was already some time past dusk. I saw my father was already home.

We had some snacks, and my father said, "I have already arranged all the things we require for blacksmithing. Forge will be made in 2 days of time and the anvil, and the metal strips are in the room at the back of the house. After snack let's go there and practice hammering. Also, before that Azriel, what did you decide for your new passive?"

"Yes, I have decided to go for elemental manifestation. It will help me do more summoning rituals and get more passives in turn, and in the long term I can start a blacksmith business."

"Ok, I am happy to hear that you are thinking about your future, but you won't need to start a blacksmith business."

"I am just thinking of that as an alternative option."

My father said nothing to that.

We finished our snack and then went to the back of the house.
