Angrily Esme answered Hugo's remarks, "For the sake of the Moon Goddess, Hugo! You're so outrageous! How often do I have to say not to involve Thea if you want to talk to your late father? Huh?"
Hugo did not answer.
"You're so outrageous! You are already putting my niece's life at risk!"
Esme threw Thea's phone on the mattress. Folding her hands together on her chest, Esme stared at Thea fiercely. "DO YOU KNOW THE AFTERMATH OF YOUR DEEDS, THEA? DO YOU KNOW THE RISKS?"
"I know, Esme," Thea replied resignedly. "Don't yell like that to me."
Thea and Esme stood opposite each other. Esme looked angry, while Thea kept silent, looking at Esme somberly.
Esme's shouts sounded in the living room. Julien, Ava, and Marc rushed to the source of the commotion.
