LOVING YOU WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE
Ivy has always be rational all through her life. Calculative, effective, always taking the pros and cons of everything before taking a decision, never leaving her emotions come in the way. It ends her be labeled as heartless but she didn't care, for her emotions was deceiveful, one has to always be rational on every move they made or else errors are prompt to be made.
But for once, she decided to go after the will of her heart, to go after the man she loved, who was being snatched away from her by the person she considered as her friend. The only time she followed her heart, turned her into the villain of their story. Her actions put in danger her friend and threat to destroy her relationship with her best friend and the only man she love.
It just proved her she was right, emotions was deceiveful. Instead to continue pursuit the love of her life at the cause of losing him, she decide to take a step back and let them live their love. It never ends well for villains and she had better things to do than to run behind a man who doesn't love her.
Rationality took control and she decided to leave love aside and dedicate herself to her career. After her years of work, she was reward as businesswoman of the year. Her professional life was impeccable but her love life was like a desert, corner on each side with marriage proposal and a mother who doesn't leave her in peace. She announced to everyone,
"The man I will get married to need to: Be handsome, more older than me for at least 15 years older than me, be at least half as rich as I am and already have children because I have no intention to have one"
Her announcement made everyone mouth drop. She jokingly said those words to cease the number of people behind her for marriage. But who will have thought, her joke turned out to become reality, when a man entered her office and said,
"When is the wedding?"
He has all what she wanted, he entered in all her criteria, but why does he want to marry her?
