Ch. 93 P. 4

Since Parker was the closest to the door, he opened it to see not only Young Chef Josh, but also an older Dragon Male was with him. Their pressure alone scared Parker so much that he backed away from the door quickly and crouched in the corner. Young Chef Josh laughed at him saying "She passed on such a Strong and Powerful Male like me for a Scared and Weak Male like you. Hahahaha, I don't feel so bad now that I see what kind of weaklings, she wanted to have near her."

Scarlet was angry at the comment and said in a Strangled yet Strong voice "He is my Son, and you are still not invited to be in my sight. Do you remember what happened last time?"

Nick walked up and said, "Elder Chef Blaze, Young Chef Josh needs to leave since he had upset the 'Great Spirit' before and since she has been so heavily injured saving us from those Strange Males and can't be upset by anything right now."

The Elder Chef was taken back by this news, and quickly he asked his son to leave quietly. This enraged the Young Chef, but he couldn't do anything about it because he knew his Fathers temper and left.

Being left alone he in the doorway as he watched his Son storm away angularly down the tunnel. The Elder Chef turned back to Nick and said "I am sorry about him. With everything that happened to the Clan since those 'Strange Males' showed up, things have been in complete disarray. Now that they were defeated such a short time ago, thangs have been in greater disarray, and we have been trying to get a handle on things. If it is possible to speak with the 'Great Spirit' for a few short moments I would be eternally grateful."

Nick looked back at Scarlet and when she gave the okay he proceeded to move aside and make way for the Elder Chef softly closing the door behind him.

The Elder Chef stepped up to Scarlet and Nick put himself in-between them and said "You can talk from there Elder Chef Blaze. What is it that you would like to say to my Female?"

The Elder Chef was shocked to hear his name coming from such a Strong and Young Dragon Male and that he also called the 'Great Spirit' his Female. He looked to the Male that he didn't recognize and asked, "Who are you Young Dragon?"

Nick's cheeks burned red as he said, "Elder Chef I used to be a Male from this clan."

He was taken back when he heard Nicks answer. Being the leader of such a large clan he would have known about a Male with his strength. With his looks and build all the Females would have been all over him.

Nick seen that the Elder didn't recognize him and filled him in a little. "I was a Bandless Male before and was taken to Green Rock Mountain City for the war. I met the 'Great Spirit' and by some luck I put her in a good mood, so she helped me unlock my Power. After I woke up, I went to look for her and ended up never leaving her side."

Realization dawned on him about why Nick would have been taken with them then and was grateful that he didn't mention it. Since the Bandless Males were only brought for war to act as a distraction. That meant that they were disposable, and he was brought there to die. Luckly though the 'Great Spirit' helped him and ended up saving his life without knowing it.

Another realization smacked into him as remembered what his Son Josh said to him about the 'Great Spirit' helping them without the need for war. It was then that his eyes found their way to Scarlet.

She was all bundled up in her Web Blanket and most of her head was bandaged and he felt like there was no way that someone so small could have stopped a war let alone taken down both of those Males.

She looked like a petite and fragile Young as she rested in her Snake Males coil. He was about to say something when out of nowhere he noticed the wonderful smell that filled the room. Scarlet seen his reaction and asked, "Would you like to have some food?"

Before he could answer Nick was handing him a bowl of food. Looking down at the contents of the bowl he inhaled deeply and felt his body relax deeply on the exhalation. Giggling then groaning in pain all of Scarlets Males started to make a fuss and she swatted them away saying "I'm fine settle down." Everyone backed away but stayed on their toes to rush to her as soon they got word.

Elder Leader Blaze was in shock at how things have turned out since last night. The Strange Evil Males were gone and now a sort of peace has returned to the clan all in One night. As he gathered his thoughts, he realized what Nick had said and addressed him "You said that she unlocked your Power, and you became a Four Banded Male? Is that really possible?"

Nick laughed and said "Yes, that is true, and it hurt just as much as she said it would. If I didn't have the goal I was determined to reach, I don't think that I would have survived."

"What was the goal you had set that could have been so powerful that it could keep you alive?" Elder Leader Blaze asked Nick curiously?

His face turned red as he glanced down at the ground and then his head slowly turned towards Scarlet and with a small smile he answered, "It was to thank the 'Great Spirit'. I wanted to give her my gratitude for seeing me as I am, and not treating me like the Bandless Male that I was. When she looked at me it felt like she was really seeing me. All I wanted to do was thank her for doing something that I never thought could be possible. I didn't care about the Power that she unlocked inside of me, and I didn't care about anything else but her."

He watched Scarlet as he talked and seen that she was just as embarrassed hearing this as Nick was telling the story. He continued with his story as he gazed lovingly at Scarlet "When I woke up, I found some Water and medicine in some containers next to me and knew that they were left by her. I happily took them and felt so much better. After I found out that she left I went to hunt her down to say thank you to her for seeing me."

With a chuckle he finished "Becoming a Four Banded Male was just a bonus."

Turning to look at the Elder Chef he said, "I fell in love with her the moment that I laid eyes on her when I was a Bandless Male, and Never left her side after I found her again."

Elder Chef Blaze was choked up by what Nick had to say about her. When he First heard about the 'Great Spirit' it was from his Offspring Young Chef Josh, and he didn't have many good things to say about her. Only that she helped them bring peace when they went to war, and they became allies now with the Green Rock Mountain City. All thanks to this small and delicate Female.

Elder Chef Blaze was trying to wrap his mind around all this information that he was given, and he tried to take a sip of the soup that he was handed to give himself some time. As the soup made contact with his taste buds, they came alive, and his mind was sent reeling again. Looking at the contents in the bowl he couldn't figure out how something could taste so good.
