 When Nick was done, he walked over to the wall and called Alex and Doctor Sebastian over. He said "I didn't really notice it earlier when Travis Kissed her but after Alex Kissed her, her cheeks looked like they had a Little More Color. She also started Breathing a Little Better."

They were both shocked and looked over at Scarlet in Travis' arms. She did look better and moving closer they discovered that she did sound a Little Better. Going back to the side, Doctor Sebastian asked Alex how he felt. After a quick check of his body Alex said "I feel fine not sick at all. When I Kissed her though I felt a connection between us." Nick said "Do you think that His strength had Transferred to her? Even though they are not Mates, could a Male give a Female His strength? Do you think that it could it help her get better?"

Doctor Sebastian had never thought about it before. In truth he had never heard of anything like this happening before. Sickness or the Transfer of Strength. After he thought Long and Hard, he said "I have Never heard of it Before, but I Don't want to Try it Again right Now. Us being here and taking care of her is stressful enough, but to Keep Trying that Theory is Risky. It might just Throw her Over the Edge, and she may Kick us Out again Until it's too Late."

They All agreed and decided to Not try it for now but couldn't stop thinking about it. 

As the Others were talking Travis was trying to Keep his emotions in check. He could hear what they were saying and Had noticed that she had gotten a Little Better after the Kisses she got from Alex and himself. Agreeing with what they were saying all he could think about was "If she had Mated with just One of them, she would Never have gotten sick." 

He looked at His Female and said "Hey 'Little Spirit' how are you feeling? Is there anything that we can do for you?"

Scarlet just looked up at him and said, "I want my Fuzzball, but I Can't have him Now." Tears started to buildup in her eyes and Travis could only Wipe them as they Fell. There was Nothing that he could do about that right now. She was Sick and He was too Young. He Looked at her Sad face and said, "How about a substitute?" He laid down with her in his arms and changed into his Tiger form. Wrapping her up in his paws and pulling her to him. He Snuggled her and she Wrapped an arm around One of his Paws and held it to her like it was her Pup. But even though what he did Helped, she still Couldn't Stop Crying. 

When the Other Males heard her crying, they all rushed over and demanded to know what was going on, Nick tried to take Her from Travis. Growling at him he said "She wants her Pup and can't have him, so Keep Your Hands Off of My Female. Got it Dragon?!"

Nick was angry at Travis because there was nothing that He could say. He was an outsider, only here to keep her Warm. He was not Her Male and was not part of this Group that has been with her for a long time.

With his head hung low he got up and walked away, leaving Alex and Doctor Sebastian to take care of His Wanted Female.

Wishing that he could do something to make her happy, it came to him. Walking over to the Pup who was looking sad about his Mommy, was surprised when he was suddenly Picked up. Nick said "Hey, you can't go over to See your Mommy, but you can still Talk to her. Would you like that?" When the Little Pup heard that his head shook like a Bobble Head Doll and his Tail wagged so hard that his Whole Butt started to wag with it.

Nick told him to say what he wanted to Scarlet, he said "Mommy, Your Sweet Pup Okay, Loves you Very much. You just get better soon, so We be together again."

After Nick translated what he said Scarlet smiled and said "I promise to get better soon sweet baby. Mommy is Sorry that I was not strong enough to Not get sick in the First place."

All the Males there started to comfort her by saying things like "It's not Your fault." And "You are very strong, but your condition just made you Susceptible to getting sick now." After Scarlet calmed down some, she thought about it. 'Since When was she such a Crybaby?'

Being too weak to go too deep into that thought she slowly started to drift off again. Leaving only the Males awake and worrying about when she would wake up again.

When Morning came and Scarlet slowly started to wake up and felt stiff, so she stretched and wiggled around as she did so. Travis didn't expect her to suddenly start to move and the way did, and it started to Trigger certain Feelings in his body. Even in his Tiger form the Feelings were still obvious. He had to make sure that she Knew that he was there while Trying to get himself under Control.

Only when he grunted and gave a Nose bump to the top of her head did Scarlet remember where she was. She froze and looked at Travis and said, "Hey Kitty, Sorry if I woke you, I just feel stiff and need to move a little."

Travis Changed into his other form and said "It's okay I was on guard duty Watching you. How are you feeling?"

Scarlet assessed her body and found that her head was a little clearer and she didn't feel as bad, but she was still very sick. She looked at Travis and said, "I feel a little better but need you to leave." Travis Freaked out a little at First then thought about it. She needed to Change her Cotton and didn't want him here for that.

Travis looked at Scarlet in the eyes and promised, "I won't look, or touch and I can still keep you warm."

Scarlet just looked at him funny and said "Not a chance Kitty. Please don't make me kick you out Again. It took a lot of strength to kick all of you out and keep you out last time."

Nicks voice came from the side and said "We will be right outside just long enough for you to take care of yourself and then we will be right back here. That's the best we can do." With Travis nodding in agreement Scarlet could only agree and get it over with.

She had just finished up when they came in and Travis asked "So, what would you like for breakfast?"

Looking around Scarlet asked, "Where is My Pup?" She didn't remember seeing him and was starting to Panic some.

Nick said "He is with Doctor Sebastian picking Plants. Alex went to Look around to make sure that there isn't anyone around. Villages have been plagued by this sickness and there have been Others trying to move and escape it."

Scarlet thought to herself that this is how it happened in her world too. Then became lost in thought until Travis pulled her out of it, when he asked again what she wanted to eat. After thinking about it she said "Soup" Nick shook his head in Understanding and went to work on it. Doing what Alex told him about yesterday he already knew what to do to make soup that she liked.

Looking at Travis Scarlet said "Hey, Kitty can you help me outside?"

Shaking his head 'No' Travis said, "You are not to go outside until you feel better."

Scarlet argued that Sunlight was Good for her and would Help her get Better. With that Travis could Not Argue. He didn't believe that His Female would lie about something like this because she had agreed with them Earlier. So, he decided to take her out and keep her close so that she didn't catch a Draft. He didn't go too far from the entrance and sat down on the Ground Against the wall placing her in his Lap and Cradling her.

When Scarlet was out in the sun, she turned her head up and Loved the feeling of the burning heat on her face. Breathing as deep as she could she sighed and smiled. After she soaked up some sun on her face, she looked at Travis with a smile still on her face and said, "Thanks Kitty this feels Great."

Travis' face broke out in a Wide Proud Grin and said, "You are welcome 'Little Spirit.'"

With a strange look on her face, she said "I'm Not a Spirit, why do you keep calling me that?"

Travis just chuckled and said, "We don't know Your Name and you gave us all New Names so this is Yours."

They both Laughed after he said that Scarlet found herself liking the Nickname. She didn't realize that after they laughed, she started Snuggling into his arms and just enjoyed his company. They stayed like that until Travis heard someone coming.
