Joseph Found out About Stephanie

Rosella cried while reading this. She was touched. Her brother was an inspiration to her and to Violet. He was a good brother and the best brother she can ever ask.

She set the diary aside and wiped her tears. She continued to look at the letters from various countries that was sent to him and some letters that are sent by a detective agency.

She hastily picked it up and opened the folder. A picture fell out. It was a picture of Stephanie with an adult lady. She was thin and wore washed out clothes but it was neat and clean.

Stephanie and her were about the same age, she was 15 years old when she was brought back to the Blue Empire and lived there.

At the age of 18, Rosella was conferred as the crown princess while Stephanie was acknowledged as a Princess.

She read the detective's findings about Stephanie.

She was born in Country R and raised by her mother, Matilda Hui. She had an unknown father.

According to the reports' date, Joseph contacted the detective agency when he was 20. There were reports about their daily schedule and the people who they met.

One picture was taken secretly by the detective and she recognized it was her father's secretary, Arnold. He was giving the woman a card with much respect.

The report continued and from time to time, Arnold was seen along with this reports.

There was a DNA test done and it was Stephanie and Arnold but the result was that they were not related at all. There was also a DNA test for Stephanie and the woman called Matilda and then, it was unmatched. The files of Matilda were also attached but Rosella was trying to match the timeline of what happened back then to what she knew.

The investigation from the detective agency ended there. Joseph died at the age of 23 and before then, Stephanie was already brought back to the kingdom for how many months.

When Joseph died, her father made a decision to send them away for a short period of time. She and Violet went to Country S in a low profile. They lived there for almost 7 months and then, they were fetched back personally by Rafaela.

When they went back, Rafaela clearly had lost weight and it can be seen that she was really devastated with what happened.

All of Joseph's belongings were burned after. She didn't know how Lucas salvaged these documents but she was thankful for it.

She sorted out the files and began to search for clues once again. She wanted to know who was that woman that was looking at her father with so much affection. Maybe, she can find the truth about her brother's death after knowing her.

She read about Matilda's background. She was actually from M Country.

According to detective's findings, Matilda was a bar woman and she once married a man named Rene. He was an alcoholic and had multiple offenses of domestic violence.

Matilda ran away while pregnant but when she was travelling illegally, the fetus was aborted at the borders of M Country.

She then was found to have raised an orphan which she named, Stephanie. There was a picture of her and the owner of the said orphanage which was attached at the end.

The orphanage which was Stephanie was from was also included in their investigations. It was clearly an in-depth investigation and even she was quite shocked by the findings and knowing her late brother, he must have confronted his father the very first time he knew of this.

The more she looked at the picture, the more it looked like her and Stephanie was in no way resembled that skinny girl at all.

The girl had a soulless eyes.

Her head suddenly hurt and screamed.

Lucas who was outside clearly heard her scream and dashed inside the room without hestitation.

Then, Rosella fainted in his arms.

Rosella dreamt of something but she didn't recognize any of it.

The surroundings were on fire. She was crying holding a dead body of a woman.

She noticed that the files were neatly stacked on the bedside table.

Lucas woke up when he heard Rosella sigh.

"Good morning." Lucas greeted her like nothing happened last night.
