Book VII The Blind Fold

Chaos spread to all corners of this now dead plain. Cursed tongue gave way to erratic and demonic behavior, all who were marked by the sign and accepted the new polluted order; became beautiful and full of life. The lame and people infected with illness who branded them self with the mark on their body, became full of vigor and dance under the red moon light. Filled with a youthful body, they now indulged in all sorts of evil deeds. The blackness crept to all living and non-living things and world was consumed by evilness that came hand and hand with the darkness.

Blood of the earth fueled the crimson streets of Washington D.C., causing an inferno light cast over the city. Drunken and sexual moan were heard throughout the city, as the new brand tattooed on most filled the lost being with hunger for their darkest desire to be tamed. Some watch others that killed for sport, other tortured children and babies, while other fell into blood sucking orgies. Yet they only killed the ones who resisted the brand of The Teacher. The mark was a letter A wrapped around a circle; this was tattooed to the body giving the holder their perfect form. By doing this they all fell into the abyss where ancient demons would brand themselves with each being that bared the mark. Some were lesser demons, but other were great demonic figures from the last icy circle of Dante's Hell. Many accepted the mark, fusing together with demons of old, selling their body for that ounce of perfection.

"I have seen too much, to fall back and see mankind wither to lesser creatures," he said with lightening in his eyes looking down from the gran mountain.

"My husband… My lord… We are gods of the past, cast into the scrolls of time. No more will we reign over man."

"Hera, I have been untrue to you in the past and I know mankind to you is nothing but a plague, a pest eating away at nature. Yet I cannot let this realm fall in to this rare abyss, that even Hade's himself cannot control. Hermes!... Send for my daughter for counsel."

Hermes was everywhere and nowhere, yet when his name is called his winged sandals can be heard buzzing like a humming bird near a beautiful flower. He appeared to him and disappeared in a blink of an eye. To re appear again with the grey eyed goddess.

"Where have you been, seeing that you have descended down The Mountain that for so long has been forbidden." Saying this with a stern voice, as He stroked his white beard.

"My lord… I went down to the cursed earth, because my loyal owl saw a light in the abyss of the restlessness. A man of the cloth! A man who has the power in him to change the wrong of this world." She stated while kneeling in front of his father.

"A champion…?" He further stroked his long beard in concentration.

"Yes father, but my grey eyes have seen more than one that walks in this abyss. To my knowledge, the few have been chosen by other supreme beings. This realm is now a battle ground for all known existence, something malice has come to pass. Something or someone older than Kronos himself."

Hera stood from her throne, as The Mountain was filled with holy light and surrounded by pillars in form of epic circle. She walked past her husband who was deep in thought, and began whispering to herself.

"A champion…champions? A new era of champions, that once filled so many legendary books. Athena, for I see you have chosen your champion, this so-called man of the cloth… I am Hera and I will give this dead world a great champion!"

She stood up with her long white rob that embraced her goddess form, and she brush her long dark hair behind her shoulders; took a deep breath and blew down a pleasant but strong breeze down the realm of man.

Downton D.C. was filled with smoke and smug of eerie toxic, as many who did not bare the mark remain hidden in any small places. Yet it did not help, for many were in pain and sorrow. Weeping in the darkness, they were ease prey for the dogs that sniffed them out. These evil dogs moved between shadow, so if light was near they would be close by to snatch the innocent into the realm of shadows, where no one has ever escaped.

The howls of the dogs were heard throughout the capital, but all sudden the howling stop as a warm wind blew through every crack of the city causing many demonic beings to fall in pain. This fresh warm wind swirled all around a single position, a massive funnel formed over a life size statue of lady justice in front of fallen court house. With the wind collecting the funnel turned upright reverse point to the dark clouds and then collapsed down in itself causing the once inverted point to blow against the statue of Lady Justice. The warm breath of air shed the hard surface of the statue; pieces began to peel off a visible form.

"Iustitia…Keeper of justice, I Hera release you of your eternal darkness and give the gift to see with eyes of new." The firm voice faded as the wind blew harder and harder, knocking chunks of marble. Giving way to a beauty beyond time, with long black hair and slim frame, she fell letting go of her marble sword. The sword crashed down with earthquake trimmer on the dark ground given way as the marble cracked, to a bright light from the blade, which held word of Latin inscribed all down the blade. The blade was held together with golden handle with rubies and crystal design all over add to the magnificent sight. On the ground she scrambles to see with her hands, touching anything as she let go of her golden scale.

She began coughing up dust from her virgin lungs and began to panic as she felt the blindfold slip away from her eyes. With one last gush of wind the blindfold blew into the not-too-distant fire.

"I am Iustitia, I am justice! I must not look on this world!" In darkness she laid naked, hearing load noises all around her. She began to shake in despair, for her purpose on this world is to be neutral and to help guide man into the honorable way. The noises all around her were suddenly silence by the flapping of feathers all around her.

"I am Hermes, messenger of the gods and goddesses of old. You have been granted the gift of sight. For this world has fallen to ashes, and justice must be seen again."

Iustitia paused in her nakedness but knew it would bring ill fortune to defy a god's order. She forced her eyes open for the first time… The first glance was of a terrifying scene, it was the sight of a mom smashing her baby against the ground repeatedly, every time with more anger and force. Till the baby oozed from the physical wound of the small head. In with an eagerness the mother began feast on the brain matter all the while giggling to herself. Her head turned to Iustittia in tic toc whined up doll way and showed her yellow lizard like gleam from her beautiful bloody face, which still giggled lustful madness; as she went back to feasting on the remain of her once new born baby.

Iustitia bluish eyes began to overflow with tears of rage, that slid down her slightly narrow face… Reaching for her epic sword from its' once marble prison, she rose up naked like a phoenix out of its' own ashes into new life. The gravel mixed with rubble rolled of her as she took five fast strides and she was already above the ungodly mother. Yet the mother did not pay no mined to her might presence, only was focus on finishing the dead remain of her baby; that filled her cursed stomach.

"I'm Iustitia and justice feeds my sword!"

She held her long slim sword high and with both hands came down on like a hammer, causing the mother's head to spin off into the air, cursing in ancient demonic tongues… The rest of the mother's body began to lose its' beauty, as black substance oozed from her neck of the once beautiful mother. Now only a corpus riddle with puss and sores that added to the smell of this rotten city.

Iustitia back up and knelt down embracing the sword as if a child of her own, once she heard the fluttering of feathers fade away; leaving with one final instruction:

"Head east across the great water, for justice must find truth!"

Iustitia was in the middle of festering city of chaos with not even an ounce of order. She looked up to the red moon and streams of tears slid down her naked body. With her new sight she fell onto the oily filled ground and sobbed.

"I… I… Must search for truth and all who cross my path will feel my blade of justice. For justice has awaken from her dark slumber and into a world of pure corruption!" Anger filled her last words and rose to her strong legs gripping her sword ever so tightly. Leaving behind the epic scale, she began to move east in the mist of flames and towards her destiny to find truth. Her naked body faded into the chaotic scene. Many fell upon her blade that night or day for time was lost in endless darkness.

Hera eyes filled with joy and pleasure to have woken up a champion among champion.

"I see you filled with joy, to see that you have now a new piece on the field of battle!" the great beard man said while sending for Artemis the Huntress.

Hera did not pay mind to her bold husband, and just had her sights fixed on the lost realm of man.

Artemis glided in like swift dawn escaping her prey.

"Yes my lord, do you want an accord?"

"Lend me your bow, so I can bestow a champion of no other."

She swayed into a beautiful dance; her body moved like a gazelle with quick small leaps of her beautiful frame.

"In this game you now chose to play, I cannot just simply hand you my soul weapon of the hunt."

"What is it you want from me Artemis!" His eyes were shocking white with rage.

"You must be calm before the hunt or your aim will not be true… Only a favor I ask when the time comes."

"You have my word."

And with that he received the great bow of Artemis the Huntress, she slowly bowed and moved back from the now crowded mountain top of all the ancient gods of the past. He moved firmly to the edge of the great mountain and next to his beautiful wife. He stretched the great bow that no man can wield and a surge of electricity gave form to an arrow causing the clouds to rumble. His last words before he shot down to the dead earth were:

"Champion… My Champion… From the ashes of your black amour arise again, take a breath of the cursed earth and do what you will… For I am Zeus the lord of the gods of old; let your story be written and told once again!"

With these words this special arrow fell upon the once world of man and to a place known too non…
