Chapter 1

Jon's POV: Hello there, my name is Jon Hunt and I'm currently in a cliche situation, at least by a web novel readers standard. I stared at the being as i contemplated his offer. If anyone else were in my situation, they wouldn't hesitate to take his offer. After all, who doesn't want a fantasy or two of theirs fulfilled. ..........FLASHBACK...................................... I was just on my way from work, I was a waiter, listening to Travis scott's new song '' Fein" on his new album " UTOPIA" when I suddenly blacked out for a moment, only to wake up in this black void. I tried walking, calling and a whole bunch of other stupid things before I finally got tired and just sat down waiting for anything or something to happen. After a period of nothing happening , i just began to replay the songs on my phone that was connected to my airpods, that both somehow still worked in this weird void. After thirty-nine replays of the album, I went to youtube to watch some one piece theories while secretly wishing for anything to happen. After watching two one piece theory videos from " B.D.A Law" And " Anime Balls Deep" , I sighed in boredom for the second time today. Just as I was about to play another video, when the void around me started to shake for a couple of seconds before a portal with a white hue emerged thirty-nine meters away from me. What came out was a being that resembled Truth from F.M.A. A couple of seconds after looking around, He/It?, turned around only to be met with a blank gaze. We stared at each other for ten,awkward ,seconds before I couldn't stand the silence and I asked " Are you the reason I'm here?'. He/IT?, fuck it , its IT, looked at me with what seemed like amusement before asking " And why would you think that." All IT got was a deadpan gaze from me , which IT seemed to ignore, as IT waved IT's hand and white table ,with some chairs, appeared. Another handwave resulted in a roulette appearing before. IT looked at me, and I looked at It . We kept staring at each other for twenty seconds before I sighed and sat on one of the chairs. IT let out a snort before also sitting in front of me. IT's weird mouth moved as it said " Since you know the situation your in, you should have some idea of what's going and what is going to happen. If you need more information , you can read the papers to better understand what you're getting yourself into." I looked at It for a moment ,before picking up the papers to start reading. Five minutes later, I had a pretty good grasp of what I was getting myself into. To summarize, I can choose three starter worlds to travel to get strong enough to help its friend. In return ,the being basically wants me to help it, or more specifically one of its friends. ............END OF FLASHBACK............…............ I took about ten-minutes to weigh the cons and pros before I said " Fuck it, why not,", with a smile. I get to see three worlds of my choice and get to go on some adventures to acquire power, which is a win in my book. The being in turn smiled before gesturing me to spin the wheel which would decide my cheats. I spun the wheel three times and honestly, lady luck must be paying some special attention to me today. What I got was basically major cheats that could propel someone average to godlike and beyond in almost anyworld, be it anime,manga or comic world. My first cheat was " Essence of the king: Modified version" This had three sub-abilities, the first one was called " The ways of the teacher." It basically allowed me to teach ten people of my choice almost any ability that's teachable . It also allows me to see one's battle potential The second and third sub-abilities were " Kingly ambitions" and " Mark of the king ''. The " Kingly ambitions" sub-ability gave me the ability to know people's ambitions and increased my charisma. The third sub-ability lets me mark people who are loyal to me, i can summon them no matter the distance and place. They also get an increase of lifespan of 400 years. My second cheat was " essence of the Blank" , basically infinite potential and the ability to learn any skill no matter its origin. It also increases the potential of those marked by me .It can also enhance talents and skills I already had. The third and final cheat is " Presence concealment:Modified." This basically allows me to conceal my presence to a state of non-existence. While it might not seem THAT broken at first, if I pair it correctly with my other abilities, I can raise its potential to a point only a person with strong instincts and senses can sense. The ability also conceals me from any normal person and some supernatural senses. The being looked at me before he waved It's hand and my body started glowing with a white hue. We looked at each other before It said " You will be transmigrated into the one piece world as your homeworld. There might be some changes here and there , but it's overall the same. You keep your memories of your last life and this event , but you will wake up in Shanks' body. The timeline will be after Roger's execution and you will wake up in a inn in Loguetown. With all that said, take your time, the help my friend needs is not that urgent. You will understand when you eventually travel to his world." I nodded in understanding before IT let out a low hum and I blacked out abruptly for the second time today.
