Today is the day, huh?

My name is Hyun Kim. I'm 21, an average office worker, and today is the last update for my favorite game, "Surviving the Apocalypse." It was one of the first games that I ever played, and it was very entertaining. But it was never popular because it was not a multiplayer game. I liked it because it was interesting, but I was the only one who thought that because everyone stopped playing it after it was released. They didn't find it fun.

But that didn't stop me from playing it because it was all I had that was fun in this world for me. I tried recommending it to people, but they told me that it was boring and I should play other games that were coming out.

But after trying to play the other games that were coming out, I did not find them interesting so I stopped playing them and started playing back S.T.A .

It was a Monday and I was on the bus, scrolling through the website about the new updates on the game and trying to find YouTubers who were talking about the features and items that where in the updates a message popped up on my phone from the company that made my favorite game in my email, thanking me for sticking around for the beta of the game and that it was going to release the full version.

"What's going on here? Full version? Isn't it the last update for the game before its shutdown?" After wondering what was going on for a second, another message popped up. "Dear user, thank you for playing the game and sticking around for the end of the beta. We will bestow you with a gift that will help you in the complete version of the game. The gift will be sent to you at 5:30 pm. We truly appreciate your support and patience."

I thought to myself, "What's going on here?" But I was excited because I was getting a gift from the company that made my favorite game. I looked at my watch to see what the time was because I was waiting for the gift. When I checked the time, it was 5:28 pm, two minutes before what was stated in the email. After waiting a while, a message popped up. "Dear user, here is the gift that will help you in the completion of the full version of the game. Thank you for your patience."

"What's this? An attachment? PDF attachment." After looking at the document, it was a full walkthrough of the game. "Huh? Why did they give me a walkthrough of the game? Is this not like giving your customer a cheat?" After closing the PDF file, an earthquake started, and the bus driver spoke on the intercom, "Please do not panic and stay composed." In that moment, for some reason, in my mind, I had a thought to look down. After turning my head down to the floor, I saw a creature that I saw one time before, but it took me back for a moment.
