The day with Allison was fun, the two took it easy after there little talk going around just that as friends, though it didn't stop the little flirting they did with one another every now and then. He could see that Allison still wanted to give Scott another chance so he didn't push it for more, it just made him more sure that he might want to try something with Ana.
Though that was something that made him a little sad, the weekend was over and after the party that night he didn't hear from her again. Not even a message when he sent her one asking if everything was okay, he was tempted to go over and see for himself but held himself back from doing that, he didn't want to come off as a creep.
Monday morning he woke with no message from her either, he did have one from Allison though which he responded too the moment he saw it. She had sent it before bed last night, he was to tried to reply though, he did get an immediate response when he just replied though.
Shaking his head he set his phone down while getting ready for school, the whole weekend he didn't attack his dad again, not that he didn't want to but he planned to do it when he least expected it. He could see that the man had his guard up, he was just waiting for it to be lowered before he attacked him though.
After getting dressed he walked into the kitchen and grabbed some food, he smirked seeing that his dad was looking at him from the side of his eye. Ignoring the man he grabbed some toast to make a sandwich before walking outside, he leaned against the car waiting while texting Allison who offered to get him but he rejected it.
His dad came out ten minutes later, when the car was unlocked he got inside and leaned against the seat with his eyes closed, he planned to get some sleep well if he could. The ride was only a ten to fifteen minute ride so he wouldn't get a long one, it just really depended on what the lights did today.
When he finally made it to school he flicked his father off before walking towards the entrance, as he walked inside he heard someone call his name, "Isaac!" Looking back it was Ana who was waving and looking embarrassed about something.
Isaac raised a brow but didn't stop walking and kept going, he wasn't going to be ghosted by someone and then talk to her like nothing happened at all. He was a chill guy, well sometimes, but that just wasn't cool and he wasn't going to be some simp who allowed it to happen to himself, he respected himself to much.
That didn't stop her though from running and grabbing his arm, he stopped only because they were gaining attention, it seemed that she had a lot of admires, if looks she got was something to go by. Without saying anything again she pulled him into the side hallway so that they could talk, he just leaned against the wall while looking at her.
"Didn't you hear me calling you? Of course you did you looked back and saw me, why were you ignoring me?" She said with her hands on her hips, she was looking absolutely adorable but he was holding back his smile seeing her.
He gave her a deadpan stare, "Are you sure you were talking to me? I mean it seems that if I say something to you that you don't even want to talk to me, how was I to know you wanted to talk."
When she moved closer to him he could smell that familiar smell again, it was the one he couldn't place but it was something that drew him in, he just didn't know why. He had to keep himself still and not wrap his arms around her, that feeling of just wanting to hold her and keep her close taking over his mind, it was really frustrating right now though.
A small playful smile took over her face as though she seemed to notice that he was struggling at the moment, "Look I am sorry, I got really busy this weekend. I really did mean to text you back when I saw it, I just figured that I could just talk to you in person though."
He raised a brow but said nothing, he liked her she was a great girl, they connected and of course she looked like, well that didn't matter really anymore since he was seeing her as a real person. Though he still wasn't going to lower himself to grovel or waste his time, this was his redo, no matter what world, and he wasn't going to let anyone ruin it.
The two stared at one another, her playful smile that was there slowly started to leave though as she saw he wasn't responding to her, it was indifference but it was close. "I don't really know what else to say here, I mean sure it wasn't to busy of a weekend where I couldn't reply. Though it was hard for me too, I'm not good at this." she said with her head down leaning against the wall across from him.
Isaac stood there a moment longer before speaking getting ready to leave, "Look, I am not going to sit here and act like I'm hurt you didn't message me back. We only met for one night and it could have been just friendship you wanted I have no right to act mad like we are dating or anything, let's just put it behind us. We will talk when we talk."
He moved to leave but she grabbed his arm again, surprisingly she had amazing strength too as she held him in place not allowing him to leave, he raised a brow at this. "I like you, I really do, but you are going to have to give me some time, please." She said looking up at him with puppy dog eyes that were really hard to say no to.
He was sure looking into her eyes that he saw them flash green, but he wasn't sure because her eyes had green in them so he shrugged it off, "Look seriously we have only me each other once before now and have hardly talked, I don't want you thinking we need to get serious or anything. We will talk later."
As he said that the bell rang for class to start, she didn't hold him back any longer as the two of them took off towards their classes, they went in opposite directions though. Since she held him back he didn't have time to put his books in his locker, walking into the classroom he saw Allison raise a brow seeing him come in almost late.
He just shook his head as he took his seat, he knew that he could talk to her later after class.

After class he was standing at his locker with Allison right next to him, "So she ignores you all weekend then corners you in the hall making it where you are almost late to class." She said with a raised brow.
"Pretty much, it's not like I am giving up on her or anything though. More like I am just letting her sweat it out. We are teenagers and shouldn't have to worry about being with someone or not, more likely then not we won't marry that person, we just need to find someone we care about enough to be with." Isaac said putting the last book away.
Allison looked thoughtful while nodding, "What do you not believe in love at first sight then?"
Laughing he shook his head, "No I am a big believe in that. I just don't believe that everyone finds their someone though, or that they make the right decision the first time. Sometimes someone is always over looked when you put to much focus on someone who doesn't need it."
Allison went quiet but they didn't get to talk about it more as the bell rang, they agreed to meet later before he took off to his next class for the day.
Isaac was shocked by the end of the day though, for someone he didn't see even once last week he had seen Ana almost every period today, it was like she was no longer just hiding in the background. Instead she was the only thing that filled his eyes, he had seen her when he went from class to class, at lunch and now right when he was heading to lacrosse practice she had once again stopped him in the middle of the hallway.
"I'm not giving up on this, I might have messed up by not calling or texting but I am going to show that I will be there no matter what." Her expression was stern as she said it to him her hands were gripping her bag tightly as she didn't move her eyes away from his own.
Isaac was a little shocked to she how intense she was being about this, he was fine if she didn't want to take it any further and it seemed that the rolls were reversed here. Isn't this like in movies or TV shows when the girl says it to the guy, he was now the one who was getting the speech from the girl, but he honestly didn't mind.
Smirking slightly he was ready to see what she would do, "Alright then."
Walking passed her he didn't look back as he walked into the locker room, when he went to change he finally saw Danny for the first time, of course he had seen the guy earlier in the day but they hadn't talked much. "Hey Danny, how was your day?" he asked with a smile.
"Oh done with your women problems you now remember your friend?" Danny joked punching his arm, "Don't sweat it, I was in you place last week. I am good though, excited to get this season started."
Isaac nodded his head with a smile, "Yeah me too, hopefully even with it being my first time making first line we can make it to state still."
"Keeping making those shots you have been shooting and we will be there in no time." He said with an easy grin.
They both paused in time to hear, "Remember - The hunters. Her dad is one of them." Scott said his voice sounding a little distant, Danny and Isaac were looking at one another with raised brows. Though Isaac knew what was going on.
They spoke for another three minutes before coach blew his whistle, Danny and Isaac walked out of the locker room together already ready, they just were so into the conversation that they stood around to listen. "So any clue what they were talking about?" Danny asked while looking over to him.
Isaac paused then nodded, "Yeah they have been talking about werewolves since last week, something about Scott being bit by a wolf in the woods. Apparently since then he has been acting a lot weirder, there is also the fact he ran out on Allison at the party Friday."
"On the full moon." Danny said with them both look over to Scott who was putting on his gloves getting ready.
