The Emergence Of A Frightening Duo (5)

"... Theoretically speaking, I haven't seen your jungle play yet."

Fu Yue wanted to put an end to this matter but 009 was determined to block his retreating path.

[ADC: Then answer me after you've seen it.]

Fu Yue momentarily went quiet. He concluded in a firm voice, "I'm pretty sure, no one likes to joke around with you."

There was no way 009 wouldn't notice that he was trying to avoid that question. For him to be this stubborn meant that he was teasing him which he found quite hard to believe.

[ADC: Indeed.]

Fu Yue was choked by his confident reply. He speechlessly said, "For your information, that was sarcasm."

[ADC: En.]

Fu Yue: "..."

While they were talking, the last person on the red side finally locked in their champ which was supposed to be a Top Laner that Fu Yue was going against.

It was Kaze, a ranged champ.

Fu Yue: "..."

[Hahaha, good luck playing against a ranged Top Laner as a Li!]

[I say ranged Top is cancer!]

[I couldn't agree more]

[Seriously, why is your luck so nasty today?!]

The enemy team locked in two ADCs but seeing that Kaze was taking a teleport, it was likely confirmed that he was going Top Lane.

Top Lane was supposed to be a home for tanks and bruisers that's why a lot of people got triggered when they saw the enemy locked in a ranged champ.

Imagining a Li who fought with his bare fists and feet against someone who was holding a laser gun and wearing high-tech gear, the image was quite painful.

However, Fu Yue was not worried about this matchup. Picking a squishy marksman against him an extremely mobile fighter, good luck playing the game.

Fu Yue evilly grinned while waiting for the game to start, "I will make him regret picking a ranged Top."

The game soon started. Fu Yue bought the starting items and pathed Top.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw K together with his support walk side by side into their red jungle to help their Jungler leash his buff.

Tearing his eyes away from that scene, Fu Yue switched the screen back to the desolate Top Lane and involuntarily gave a light sigh.

Unlike in the Mid Lane, the minions arrived a bit later than the former so Top Laners would often menacingly stare at each other in the meantime.

Kaze seemed to think that this was a winning lane for him. Not only did he not stay in front of his turret he even confidently walked outside.

His Jungler promised to gank his lane at level 3, therefore, Kaze intended to bully Li to his heart's content from early on.

The person behind Kaze had quite high mastery over this hero which was why he was not afraid of dueling Li in the early game.

Li was strong early but only if he got a good engage on him. During the farming phase, Li should be miserable against him.

While thinking of this, Kaze suddenly got hit by Li's Q which came from the bush.

Following after, Li dashed to him and hit him with two quick auto attacks causing Kaze's health to drop by 40% in the blink of an eye.

Kaze hurriedly fired his Q at him but the former skillfully side-stepped his spell while continuing to stay on top of him.

Kaze had no CC ability and his base health was significantly lowered than Li who was a fighter.

As a result, Kaze could only auto-attack Li which did not do much at level 1.

Seeing that Li was not willing to get off him Kaze gritted his teeth and flashed away after getting beaten to half Hp.

However, who would have thought that Li was a maniac and instantly flashed after him to precisely land another Q under his turret?!

With extremely quick hand speed, Li did a QQAAAA combo which was more than enough to kill a half-death Kaze.

"First Blood!"

Fu Yue nonchalantly took a turret shot and walked back to farm his minions. He did not forget to explain, "Kaze is a mid to late game while Li is strong early to mid game so don't go easy on him. Playing Kaze is a bit hard because he heavily relies on his basic ability and sneaked auto-attacks in between to utilize his kits. In other words, if you suck at skillshot, I don't recommend playing him."

[Q]: Kaze shoots a bolt of lightning which reduces all of his cooldowns slightly if it hits an enemy unit.

[W]: Kaze shoots a flashing bomb hitting the first champion unit or objective hit letting the target carry the bomb briefly. Once detonated it deals magic damage.

[E]: Kaze jumped through space to the nearest target location and then fired small lightning at the nearest target prioritizing the one hit with [W]

[P]: Kaze increases his attack speed whenever he hits a spell, stack to four times.

"Kaze's main source of damage is his Q. As long as you dodge it, you are good to go."

[This is like saying you will win if you don't lose *vomit blood*]

[The crux of the matter is how to dodge!]

[Aii, can't talk to a top student!]

Fu Yue briefly glanced at the barrage and chuckled, "You either walk left and right not front to back."

[...]

[Number 009 has slain an enemy!]

Fu Yue amusedly raised his brows, "Looks like our 009 doesn't want to lose to us. I should work harder."

His words just fell and Kaze was seen appearing on the screen after using his teleport to come back to the lane quickly.

Kaze no longer dared to underestimate this Li. He decided to farm and poked him from afar.

Nonetheless, this Li was crazier than he thought.

The moment Kaze slightly stepped forward to kill a minion. Fu Yue instantly hit another Q onto Kaze. He was already level 2 while Kaze was still at level 1 thus his damage hurt even more.

At level 2, Fu Yue learned his E so Kaze who was intending to simply run away ate another QQAAAA combo before receiving another EEAA and was immediately sent back to the fountain once more.

[Duke]: Li you rock!

[Duke]: I have been meaning to ask but are you a streamer? Since K has been typing in the chat it looks like he was talking to himself

[Li]: I am

[Duke]: Should I play around Top?

[Li]: I am fine. Go to others

[Duke]: Got it!

Seeing how cheerful his Jungler was, Fu Yue suddenly felt a bit emotional, "Maybe, I am finally getting a good Jungler?"

With a smile on his face, Fu Yue sentimentally looked at Duke who enthusiastically rushed to the Mid lane intending to gank at level 3.

Duke handsomely dashed only to get rooted by the enemy and got hit by another spell, his health instantly dropped to 60%. He then panic flashed but the enemy Mid Laner flashed after him to drop a burn on him while constantly auto-attacking him and coolly finished him off with another root.

Fu Yue: "..." I spoke too soon.

[Hahahaha, what did I say?! You have no luck with Junglers!]

[Had he not gotten rooted, he would have gotten that free kill lol]

Fu Yue wordlessly shifted his screen back to his lane intending to bully Kaze so that he could be freed from this Top lane sooner and go elsewhere.

This time though, Kaze changed his tactics to farm under his turret.

Fu Yue snickered, "Heh, you think you are safe under the turret?"

Fu Yue had a huge lead in CS. By this time he was level 4 while Kaze was merely level 2.

After easily landing another Q on Kaze, Fu Yue recast his Q to dash to his target. Unexpectedly, mid-way through his dash, Kaze teleported with his E dragging him a bit far away from his allied minions.

It turned out that instead of learning his W, Kaze learned E at level 2 to bait Li to go for him under his turret.

Li could use his W to dash to his allied minions but after following with Kaze's E, Fu Yue was not in range to W.

Therefore, even if Li managed to kill Kaze, he would likely die due to the turret.

Still, Fu Yue was not flustered. He broadly smiled, "Cute."

Fu Yue cleanly finished off Kaze before swiftly dropping a ward and W onto it to drop the turret's aggro.

However, due to Kaze's unexpected E Fu Yue was currently behind the enemy outer turret. Just as he dropped the turret's aggro, the enemy Jungler was seen imposingly walking out from the bush.

Fu Yue narrowly dodged Yuz's Q and quickly hit the latter with his Q causing the turret to target him again.

Li got shot by the turret twice not long ago, therefore, one more shot was all it took to kill him.

Realizing his intention, Yuz hastily flashed wanting to auto-attack him before Li died to snatch the kill. Unfortunately, not only did he waste his flash, Li even got executed!

[A/N: If a champion dies without getting damaged or debuffed by any enemy champion in the last 13 seconds, their death is considered an execution. Such deaths do not reward the enemy gold but will give nearby enemies experience.]

Kaze did not even land a single auto back then?!

[I would rather kill myself than be killed by the likes of you! Hahaha]
