The Magic Orb that Controls All Magic!

"Wake up! M*therf@#$kers!" A hunk with huge muscles roared when he entered a room with sleeping little boys in it.

The room has ten double-deck beds.

20 males woke up immediately and stood out of the bed quickly.

These males were teenagers. They wore white sleeveless shirts on top and for the bottom, they wore black short pants.

Their shirts were covered in stains and they're faces were full of dirt and dust. They were skinny. Their eyes and cheeks were sunken like they haven't eaten for days or months.

Well, actually they haven't. Their last meal was just last week. After that, they were thrown up for the mines to dig up valuable materials like orbs and such.

They could only eat once for every week or if they contributed handsomely for their Sergeant that is responsible for them.

"Goodmorning, Weaklings!" The Hunk shouted again and greeted everyone with mockery.

"Goodmorning, Sir!" The Males replied loudly and strong like hunger isn't getting into them. They seem still strong and firm on the outside but in the inside, they're slowly crumbling and suffering in this forsaken land.

Good thing that this day is the day where they could eat. That's why they are so energetic today. They are very excited. They can't wait to dig in to those free food.

"You seem excited? Well, let me guess... Is it because this is the day that the government will let you eat free food?" The Hunk Sergeant sneered and grinned.

"Well, you see... there are new protocols now. Unfortunately, the food won't be distributed in the morning like it usually do... you will have to wait until dinner." The Hunk Sergeant looked tauntingly at the little boys before him and laughed cruelly.

The faces of the 20 boys in the room turned grim. Their hearts were full of despair and sadness.

The Government were too cruel. They're greedy. So that they couldn't spend more sum of money for these unfortunate children, they change or postpone the free food whenever they like. Not even caring about the children who are starving to death.

"Right now, we have new place to dig into. It is at the Unknown Forest. Inside the forest, a cave was discovered. There's a huge magical reading over there. And you know what that means, right?" The Hunk Sergeant smiled lightly. He has no longer have that mocking face after seeing the kids reaction when he announced a bad news.

And this time, the kids don't know whether they should be happy or be scared.

Jake Reese Merlin, who is at the last of the row furrowed his eyebrows.

'Is this a good thing now or no?'. He was confused. He didn't know what to feel.

Unknown forest is a forest that were filled with dangerous creatures. In the news they heard, some people had entered the forest before but none came back.

The eligibility of the news is still questionable though because they just heard it at the other team of miners.

That's right, The 20 boys here are not the only miners in the place.

They are right now at the Heart City. The mightiest and the largest city in the Eastern part of the Earth.

Because of the change that had gone over the years, the continents of the Earth changed. Some got smaller and some got bigger.

The biggest continent now is still the Asia. They still used the word 'continents' to identify a huge land with continental plate.

But the countries' names had change. In the part of Asia, The country called Fallen God's Country is the largest country on Earth.

And the Heart City is its Capital.

And every city have Shelters for the homeless people that they adopt to train or to work for the mines. One of them was Jake who's adopted by the Heart Shelter to be a miner.

In this large Shelter there are five groups of miners. Jake's Group was the weakest of all, they only consist of 20 teenagers and their ages are ranged from 13-17.

Right now, some were excited. What the Sergeant said made them excited. A huge Magical reading means a huge amount of Magic Orbs! That means, they could make money and contribution to it.

The materials that they will find will be converted into points in their personal accounts.

Any Valuable Gem ore or stones- 5 points

The less Valuable materials were just mediocre points for the miners. But the Energy and Magic Orbs were happy land for them. They could buy more food and things with the points they could get.

And also, they might get a chance to find a Magic Orb that is suitable for them and they might change their status or rank in the Shelter and get many rewards and benefits.

Humans are also ranked by the abilities.

Rank S- are people who have the highest status like the government officials or person who had obtained Grade S: Magic Orbs.

Rank A- are people who obtained Grade A Magic Orbs and usually works for the Government.

Rank B- are people who obtained Grade B Magic Orbs. People who has higher job or status in the military. They are also qualified to be top hunters. People that can have higher status in a organization, business, or other groups.

Rank C- are people who obtained Grade C Magic Orbs. Primary requirement Rank for Soldiers and Hunters.

Rank D and E- are people who obtained Grade D and E Magic Orbs. People that have freedom to do what they want and can legally use their powers for everything like for working, selling, and etc.. But only for legal purposes.

Rank F- people who obtained Grade F Magic Orbs. Workers for Shelters.

Rank 0- Mediocre. Only for miners and beggars.

Jake became excited when he thought about the good side and opportunities in the place. But he couldn't stop thinking about the danger that is lurking inside the forest.

"I'll give you 5 minutes to dress up and pack up things you need to have! Meet me in Central Square afterwards. This is another day to all of you in the Heart Shelter and you are very lucky. May some of you won't die in the Unknown Forest!" The Hunk Sergeant smiled and walked out of the room.

"Yeah. More like another day in hell." A skinny dude said and laughed. He has afro hair. Everyone who heard that laughed out too.

"A cave with Magical Orbs?! This is a chance guys! Let's do our best and get more energy and magical orbs for ourselves. We might find ourselves a higher grade Magical Orbs that we could own!" A guy with white skin said positively. Even though skinny, he is still a very handsome kid.

He is one of the oldest in the group. His name is Caesar. He acts as the leader in the group guiding and helping everyone.

All of the boys have a good relationship to each other. They know hurting and bullying others won't get them nothing but bad reputation.

As five minutes passed. The Boys ran out of the room and ran to the central square.

They saw their Sergeant and lined up immediately into One row.

Five minutes later, 4 Hunk men came and stood with their Sergeant. Two have black skins and two have brown skins.

They are very muscly like the Sergeant of Jake's Group.

"Hello Sergeant Mark, Sergeant Clark, Sergeant Hark, and Sergeant Dark!" The Twenty boys greeted the four hunk men in front of them.

And then, people in different uniforms followed.

They were the other groups of miners.

They lined up according to the position of their Sergeant's stood at. Like Jake's group, they lined up in rows too.

There are now five groups of miners in the Central Square of the Shelter. Each group have twenty members.

Unlike, Jake's Group that have skinny members, the Groups look well fed. They were muscular and fat but looks tired.

They seem not that energetic than Jake's Group.

The other groups looked at Jake's Group and almost laughed out loud. They just stifled their laughter.

Sergeant Bark, Jake's Group Sergeant, noticed the stifled laughter from the other miners and frowned.

"These spoiled low-class lives... Hehe." He mocked inside. Also, irritated.

Jake's Group was called Green Team. Just like the color of their uniforms. The others were called Yellow Team, Blue Team, Red Team And Purple Team. Their Teams were named after the color of their uniforms.

The Other teams looks more mature and strong than The Green Team.

The Green Team noticed that they were being laughed at by the other teams. They sighed and smiled. Didn't let others see that they are annoyed.

They had expecting this and planned something. They smiled proudly and sweetly and nodded at the neighboring teams.

The Teams were shocked by the attitude that the Green Team had shown.

Its like they weren't affected by the mocking of the other teams. They might not be strong on the outside, but on the inside, they are built strong.

Sergeant Bark noticed this and shows a proud smiled. "What a good team."
