Jamar is just an ordinary kid enjoying his time with his friends and family, until one day, people from different worlds have come to kill him. The reason is unknown, but he is forced to go on a journey of discovery and uncover his missing past. *Cover art and text is not mine*
A kid laying on the ground slowly opens his eyes, and he sees the town around him burning.
*Gets up in shock*
Kid: W-what happened here? A-and where am I?
He looks around seeing blood on the floor and hears people screaming in pain. He starts running and covering his ears to silence the screams, then he falls into a pit full of dead bodies.
Kid: AAAHHH!
He screams in fear and shock, and quickly gets out of the pit, running past dead bodies and people who are crying.
Kid: (What the hell happened here?! Why are there dead bodies? Why is the town on fire? Why all this?)
As he runs, he hears the sound of trotting behind him. He turns his head seeing a shadowy figure coming from the smoke getting closer and closer.
Kid: (Crap, someone is coming! Better hide.)
He turns to a path and gets on his knees hiding behind a big crate, hearing the trotting getting closer and louder. Afterward, he sees a man running away getting chased by a person wearing grey on a horse. As he watches, the person on the horse gets their sword out, and slices the man's head off.
Person: Hehe, got you.
The head rolls off leaking tears, then two people on horses jump out through the fire, one wearing heavy black armour and one wearing light white armour. Their shadowy faces look at the dead body.
Boss: I told you to injure him, not kill him.
Person 1: Sorry boss, it was an accident. *lies*
Boss: Yeah whatever. Any ways, have you found Jamar yet?
Person 1: No, not yet boss.
Jamar: (Crap, they're looking for me! Got to get out of here.)
*Jamar knocks over a box of fruits*
Jamar: (Ah shit.)
Boss: Hmm? *looks at the crate* What was that?
The first person gets off their horse and walks towards the crate. Out of fear, Jamar gets up and runs.
Person 1: It's him!
Light white armoured Person: Don't worry, I got him.
As Jamar runs, he turns his head seeing the person chasing him on the horse. Jamar throws down stuff to slow him down, but it doesn't work, and the person gets closer.
Jamar: (He's getting closer! Looks like I'm going to have to shake him off.)
He exits the path and runs through a burning building, still getting chased. Just as the armoured person reached out his hand about to grab Jamar, a bunch of burning wood fall on him, causing both him and the horse to be stuck. Then Jamar escapes out of the building, and it comes crashing down
Jamar: (I escaped just in time!) *pants* (But man, he almost got me.)
He looks around seeing nobody and pats his afro, then he hears a whisper.
???: Your life ends here.
He jumps and looks around, only seeing fire and hearing buildings fall apart.
Jamar: Who said that?! (Actually, why is it so quiet?)
Out of nowhere, he feels something big and heavy go through his chest and coughs up blood. He slowly looks down seeing a sword, then feels the sword leave through his back and gets kicked falling on to the hot ground coughing up more blood. He suddenly feels freezing all over his body and gets turned over, laying in his back, seeing a figure with a bloody sword wearing a black cloak.
Following that, the figure puts their foot on his chest, causing Jamar to groan in pain. The figure then lifts their sword and faces it downwards.
???: Goodbye Jamar.
Jamar: *coughs* N-noooooo!
*Wakes up screaming in horror*
