Chapter 1~Awakening~ ( SMALL EDIT)

-DAY 1-

______________________

Data checking... 100%, all system's are optimal.

'Zero' awakened in an seemingly abandoned alley, filled with disposables, analyzing his own surroundings he observed on the wall that he was currently in sector-10 in warthog city. Seeing water falling from the sky, 'rain' is what humans call it or what was imprinted in his memories and database, it was the first time he had seen it. Not branched from his implanted memories from what his 'creator' gave him. Although he has no known memories of his own creator personally, what does remain in his memory, was that he 'loved' him, or the emotion he demonstrated when he created Zero.

The 'creator' made Zero to be special, to evolve based on his experiences, and based on his objectives he's left behind within his memory. He was also capable of evolving based on any threat possible, albeit slowly which was only feasible only due to the latest technology he made zero with and only one to ever exist. 'Bio-metal' or 'nano-machines'. Which was a living metal capable of replicating living tissue to small to large degrees, and capable of getting stronger over time, only adding to his body as it sees fit.

Zero knew his was mainly created to fight off the monsters that dwell on the planet called which humans called 'Corrinos', which was initially called earth, but due to the 'outbreak' of monsters, named 'lurkers', humans gained abilities that came with them called 'trena', which allowed humans to go beyond their physical capabilities and even evolve as well after reaching certain thresholds of strength by absorbing the 'trena' left by the defeated lurkers. 'Trena' in of itself was a mystical energy that was brought by the lurkers nothing that modern science could attempt to explain, then humans had adapted to the 'trena' that was present in the atmosphere, thus giving them abilities and even characteristics of mystical beasts in fairy tales.

Zero's second objective was becoming more 'humane'. To also gain emotions, to be what he was created to be "Perfect".

Zero wanted to start his journey quickly, he needed to learn how to feel emotions, to touch, to be 'human'.

He quickly initiated his navigation unit to find the the most optimal space to create a base of operation, since he had no relations between humans, so a base was a must. Zero quickly set his coordinates to a nearby abandoned scrap yard, he needed to wait until it was midnight to not be conspicuous, since his existence is unheard-of.

After waiting for the remaining time in the alley which was approximately 4 hours, zero decided to move off, quickly making his way towards the scrap yard, by his calculations, he was 50% faster than the fastest 'regular' human being that was alive. Not allowing any human spot him.

After dashing towards the scrap yard, he saw other humans, seeing cars parked, the streets and buildings. Zero was feeling the emotion similar to 'curiosity' rising already, as to how these beings were so complex, he questioned his probability of becoming like 'them'.

After taking multiple shortcuts and avoiding human life as much as possible he reached his designated area, the abandoned scrap yard, he quickly used the trena core energy that was installed within him which powered him as well, to quickly construct a base of operation for future purposes, which by his own calculations, should not take more than a day.

After morphing his body into certain tools he started working on the structure of the base, zero realized that he was quickly using up his trena reserves. He then felt his own body becoming unstable due to trena drainage. After waiting for a couple of hours, allowing for his trena to recharge naturally, he then checked his 'status' or specifically his "A.I" which gave him an estimated amount of power compared to what his levels of prowess were to a humans and 'superhumans'.

Zeroes overall trena capacity had increased by 10%, allowing him to continue and to finish his own base. Zero quickly thought of ways to improve myself, he thought of actual combat to do so to increase his physical power and improving his body, or he could use human like exercises to improve his endoskeletal strength and his own muscle fibers over all strength as well, since he was capable of increasing his power linearly. Zero quickly surmised to increase his trena reserves were to exhaust them over and over again to get the best results.

After looking for humans workout regiments on the internet, he quickly picked the most suitable ones, then creating weights in his base to increase his strength as well.

" WHAT do you mean you lost it?, HOW, could you have lost it!?, you pathetic FOOLS!!, that 'creation' is the only one in existence to be capable of evolving!, you had better find it or I will 'personally' pay your families a visit". the leader stated venomously.

"Yes sir!" the soldier's said.

Zero quickly started exercising his body to get used to the strain on his exoskeleton, only stopping until he sees that his muscle fibres have been worn out, from being overly stressed from over exhaustion. Zero continued exercising for an hour straight, until he saw hi status about his muscle fibres starting to overload.

Zero quickly dropped the weights which weighed approximately '200 kg' or barely peak human levels of power. He then went to his newly created mini-base to research and plan possible ways on entering lurker filled zones, which were specific parts of the abandoned cities that were closed off and where lurkers mostly resided.

Zero stopped analyzing ways to enter the zones, due to him not having any requirements to beat even the tier 1 lurkers , or possible mutants that were there. Zero quickly decided to choose the latter, (exercising) to first focus on exercising his exoskeleton and muscle fibers, to one day to even contend against the lurkers, since even the weakest ones in physical prowess alone could toss 2.5 tons with relative ease.

And then his third objective was to figure out why his creator was always running and constantly moving/changing locations as well, seemingly from unknown beings, or what zero deduced, 'threats.... .
