Chapter 30: The Shadow Spirit's Loyalty

The chain trembled tremendously as the fury roared through the shadow's spirit mind.

The Shadow Spirit swallowed down his frustration and gasped "After he attacked me, he confined my soul into the shadow stone and used a high-level seal. To get rid of the evidence of this heinous deed, he threw the shadow stone in the seas.."

Wei Di look at him intently and said " you want to take revenge on him?"

The shadow assassin let out a scream" I want to rip him into a thousand pieces!!!"

Wei Di replied "Then help me. In return for your favour i will help you take revenge for you"

"Jeez ...you are just a weak bronze spiritualist..who can't even lay a finger on Rang Hu" The Shadow spirit mocked

Wei Di casually said, "Ok I guess you can return to your shadow stone and spend a few more hundred years again."

The shadow spirit shudder at the thought and quickly exclaimed "NO ANYTHING BUT THAT!"

"Then swear your loyalty to me on your name" Wei Di softly speak

It was the best choice. Even if Wei Di was weak, he was still the shadow spirit saviour for breaking the seal and it was better than staying in the shadow stone. Furthermore, Wei Di was able to restrain the shadow spirit even though he was just a bronze spiritualist.

After evaluating the choices, the shadow spirit knew he had to relent.

"I Ying Qi, the founder of the Shadow Assassin Clan, Bringer of the silent night, swore upon my loyalty to my new master!" the shadow spirit solemnly chant.

An unbreakable bond is been forged! With this, the Shadow Spirit will be under the full command of Wei Di and he can never betray Wei Di.

With that Wei, Di acquired an extremely powerful shadow spirit. However, after being trapped in the shadow stone for so long, it would still take some time for him to regain his full power. Nonetheless, a shadow spirit with intelligence meant extra fighting capabilities that no one will expect him to have.

Wei Di looked at the shadow spirit with pity and gently said "Rest inside my shadow for now and protect me when I am in danger. This will help you nourish back your power back much quickly"

The shadow spirit nodded and entered Wei DI's shadow. As the shadow spirit entered Wei Di's shadow and bath within it, he was shocked.

"Your Yin energy seems boundless and a depth that even I a master of shadow and assassin arts cannot sense..who are you exactly.." the shadow spirit asked with a shaky voice–soft.

"Just a bronze spiritualist" Wei Di cheeky mentioned.
