I got a 20 minute lecture from my mom when I reached home.

"The traffic was awful. It's not my fault"

It took me 2 hours to reach home.

"You are not allowed to go out for a week!"

"I have to go on a date with Elena"

"This Sunday"

"I will tell her the date is cancelled"

"It's dangerous outside!"

"Don't you know how many crimes have been happening in this city lately"

She is more furious than usual.
