The Invasion of the Centrons

The calendar is approaching the year 2100 and the doctor tells me that I have dementia. These days there is a solution for it. Thanks to me, we have pills that bring clarity to people with dementia. However, taken too often and the pills start to lose effect. I will write what I remember and pieces of the stories of others that were told to me. It won't be in chronological order though, due to the one flaw of these damn pills. While clarity is achieved, one's chronological sense of memory is messed up. I will start with that turning point, since I remember that well enough right now, and write whatever else I can piece together. I write this record because the young ones, particularly the new blood in the UN, don't care about the Invasion of the Centrons. I guess now I know how World War Two veterans felt about my generation. The new blood wants to cut back on the costly measures put into the place after that invasion, also known as World War Three. They say that we won that war due to human superiority, that it was only a set back that we were initially losing that war. I am here to set the record straight. We won that war due to dumb luck. The turning point I set into motion was pure luck. We beat back the Centrons, but we need to be wary against their return, or worse, a different alien race invasion. Long Live Humanity!
