Ch 1

At night on a certain planet a golden hazy cloud the size of an adult's head can be seen floating. It gives off a very dim light as it is zooming by.

At this time a guy with a blue robe notices it. His looks shows the definition of handsomeness as he channels blue energy into his hands and sends it flying into an unknown direction.

Seconds after throwing that, a blue lightning bolt strikes down aiming for the golden cloud. The cloud dodges it as a message is heard.

"This isn't your domain, leave now."

After that silence returns as the cloud continues moving.

Rezkra wakes up to his alarm clock. After stretching he dresses in a white tank top, sweatpants, and black sneakers.

"Alright lets try to do 10 miles in under an hour."

After that he opened the door of his small apartment before locking it and starting his run to his usual end point. Looking around at the hover cars and the occasional citizens riding around on boards. After turning a corner he spotted a family praising their child as a white orb rotated around him.

In this world humans have powers that they can gain naturally in life or by buying one. It is used in daily life with some using it to fight monsters that appear from rifts on the many planets in the human reaches of space.

This scene reminded him of his parents he lost years ago. They were killed when a meteor that the defense system couldn't destroy crashed into the part of the city that they were in. Immediately afterwards the armed forces of the planet quarantined the area to take away the meteor and search for survivors. Apparently there were no survivors in the area quarantined off along with no bodies being left either.

After getting the news that he was now an orphan, Rezkra cried for days before getting it together and spending the money that his parents had to support himself along with the meager support from the planets government.

His parents was planning to save up to buy Rezkra a skill as his ability hasn't awakened yet, but he would not have the money to practice enough to gain a good amount of resources when he had to join the school. So he trained his body to the extreme to at least reach the level of a tier 9 ability user hoping that he will eventually activate an ability. People with abilities can train their abilities, their tier corresponds to what level of beast they can beat with the stronger the beast the lower the tier. This is mostly used at school to easily sort students though.

After coming back from his room Rezkra drunk some water and had an apple before continuing with his exercise. After finishing his exercise, Rezkra smiled in satisfaction.

"Yes, I should have the body of a tier 9 ability user now. Right on time now too."

After his short rejoice Rezkra went to shower before having breakfast and brushing his teeth.

"I should buy myself buy myself a treat to reward myself. After all it is extremely hard for someone to reach tier 9 without the use of an ability. This is the result of 6 years of training with this year being more intense than the others."

When someone with an ability tier increases, their abilities strengthen their bodies. This is why normal people will never win against a person with an ability. Only someone who trains extremely efficiently, like Rezkra, can even hope of being able to contend with the lowest tier ability user. What Rezkra did is actually pretty amazing for him to do in just 6 years. Especially with him only being 16 years old.

After walking out his house, Noah enjoyed his walk to the convenience store.

Up in the afternoon sky, a golden cloud can be seen moving around until it stops abruptly and shoots off at a speed not even tier 1s would be able to see.

After leaving the store with a candy bar in his hand, Rez started to begin his walk home.

'I have everything prepared so I should be ready tomorrow.'

As Rez was about to turn a corner he was hit by a golden cloud, immediately knocking him out.

"Hey how much are we probably going to get for this." a lanky guy says while dragging a body into an alley.

"I don't know it depends on his abilities and if he doesn't have one then it would probably be about 20,000." another guy says while helping to drag the body.

At this time Rez woke up to being dragged. Immediately he starts to struggle out of their grasp. After managing to squeeze out of their grip mostly thanks to them being unprepared, Rez starts to sprint out the alley.

"Hey, hey, go get him." The lanky guy says

"I know, I know."

As Rez was nearing the alley he was flung into the wall.

Before he could recover, he was lifted up into the air by a guy with swirling red mist swirling close to his arms like a moving tattoo.

"Now don't struggle kid, it will make my job a lot easier." the guy says as he toss Rez to the lanky guy.

Rez started to panic now as he was in a situation that he never felt like he would be in with how close he was to mandatory school. When abilities were discovered, human trafficking rates in the universe increased as people's abilities could be used for as whoever is buying them see fit. Some would use it to make millions or to fulfill their weird desires.

Rez mind quickly went into overdrive trying to think of what to do. At this time an amber screen appeared in front of himself.

Immediately after his stats updated, Rez felt a liberating feeling as his body felt lighter.

Rez's captors weren't staying idle as they just managed to drag Rez to the other end of the alley towards a door. Rez's quickly scanned the area to find any possible ways to increase the chances of survival. Rez felt like he could possibly escape with his new stat, but if he is captured again then he would definitely not escape a second time.

Rez only ended up finding one chance where he could escape when they lower their guard. Right as the guy that threw Rez reached for the door, Rez quickly broke from their guard again quickly sprinting for the alley exit. He quickly managed to reach the halfway point between the exit and the door way quicker than his usual speed.

'They are obviously beginners at this, they could have knocked me out or been more cautious while holding me. Thank goodness as I would have been long gone before I would even be able to start struggling.'

As Rez was reaching the exit he was hit again this time making him fall face flat on the ground as a heat starts to build up on his back. Rez quickly began to roll around on the floor to get rid of the fire growing on his shirt, before turning back to watch as the guy that threw him before quickly approaching.

"Do you think you will leave," the lanky man says as a flame ball floats in his hand, "Here is a hint, I can control two at once."

Rez not knowing what the lanky guy was say quickly ran again to the exit before quickly spotting a fireball floating right in front of him. He quickly tried to dodge it, failing as he is sent back into the alley.

"You know, this is too much of a hassle, lets just kill him." The lanky guy says as another fire ball appears quickly combining with the other fire ball

"Yeah we might be able to find someone better if we looked instead of dealing with him," The guy with the red mist says as he stops, " Well I did do the last kill so you can do it this time.

The lanky guy gives a devilish smile as he quickly throws his large combined fireball at Rez hitting him square in his chest.

Rez immediately start to scream before it soon cuts out. Not because he died, but because of a message.

Immediately the small flame in Rez's hand became double the size of the fireball the lanky guy threw. Rez immediately looked at both of his abductors as a smile started to form. He immediately started to fire columns of fire at the both of them immediately taking down the lanky guy. The other guy managed to slightly dodge the column with only being hit in the shoulder.

He immediately started his attack again with more red mist energy appearing on his body. Rez seeing this immediately rushed him with a maniacal smile on his face before hit him with flames he gathered in his palms, sending him flying knocking into the corner of a dumpster leaving an imprint on it.

Rez smiled before laughing, "that was fun." He immediately started to search the burnt unconscious bodies of his abductors, taking clothes that hasn't started to burn too much and a phone to call the police. After the call he put the clothes on. The clothes wasn't too big on Rez as he made his way home.

"Wait, why didn't I decide to run away" Rez didn't know why he did what he did. All he felt was a urge to fight them instead of running especially when he saw the huge fire he made.

After reaching home, Rez was about to sit down when a message appeared.
