Chapter 11: Reunion

-with Azazel and Lucifer-

"... This is not going to work" 

Lucifer sighed from the progress of their plan. They've been here for 10 days and they had no progress whatsoever with their plan.

They lack information to formulate a proper plan and none of the hostages that they captured gave them any kind of information that might be useful for them.

"Riku, did you find anything about the Star Cup?" (Azazel)

"None of the races actually know anything about the Star Cup. They just know that it will appear in front of the strongest existence... That's all they know" (Riku)

"... So we have no choice but to infiltrate, Elven Gard... This will attract the 4 Gods if we're not careful" (Azazel)

"... Azazel, Lucifer, why can't you just kill those 4? Based on your strength you can easily deal with one by yourselves" (Riku)

"We can't, their respective races will besiege us even if we did get rid of their god, especially if we're weakened after the fight with them" (Azazel)

"If we want to win, we need to move from the shadows" (Lucifer)

"*Sigh* we're getting nowhere at this point"

Riku whispered as he stabbed his dagger in the map placed on the table.

"Tch... If only we can gain control to one of those Ex-Machinas, everything would have been easier to maneuver" (Riku)

"The only Ex-Machina that we can get information from is those who were kicked out of their cluster, but the chances encountering them are quite... low" (Azazel)

"Then we will follow the second plan, we'll infiltrate the Elven Gard, me and Azazel will be the only one to do this mission. Riku evacuate colony immediately, we don't know when those dwarves will drop their bombs, it's better to be prepared for the worst" (Lucifer)

"Aschente"

Riku answered as he pulled his hood back on before leaving Azazel and Lucifer alone, contemplating on what they should do.

"They have a very strict anti-flight barrier so we have no choice but to travel by ground, we will move at this place since it's the area with the weakest security"

Azazel said while pointing at the area where the demonia attacked them.

"We'll have to set up a mark in the ruined hideout to use for our escape. We will have to split up to find the library of elves, I'll move around their capital. Lucifer since you are mastered a few Stealth magic, check the royal palace" (Azazel)

"Also, Lucifer... Prioritize your life and safety. If you can't handle it leave immediately, I don't want to lose you a second time"

Azazel reminded with a serious expression while looking directly at her blood red eyes.

"I know, I still have a lot of things to accomplish. I can't die here"

Lucifer smiled at Azazel while remembering her main goal in this new life given to them.

'I want to stay a bit longer by your side, Lucias... only then can I die peacefully'

Lucifer thought as both of them decided to separate to do their respective mission.

"May the 'creator' be with us" (Azazel)

"Stay safe, Azazel" (Lucifer)

"I don't think that's necessary, you two" 

A familiar male voice echoed throughout the cave they were staying at.

Slowly a 11 year old boy came out from the shadows wearing a red suit followed by little girls behind him.

"Long time no see, Azazel, Lucifer"

The golden haired boy smirked while looking at the demon and angel staring at him with shock.

"Lucias!!"

Both of them screamed in joy as both of them pounced on Lucias, pushing him to the ground.

"I know you're happy to see me, but please don't suddenly charge at me"

Lucias caressed the head of the two girls hugging him with a wry smile.

"How come you're here?!" (Lucifer)

"We were able to come here due to the sudden quest that we had a year ago" (Lucias)

"... Wait... A year ago? I thought you only got your ability 6 months ago" 

Azazel asked in confusion as both her and Lucifer sat down on the ground, waiting for his answer.

"Huh?... What do you mean? We've been stuck in our dimension for 2 years... What do you mean by 6 months?"

"... Huh? Lucias I'm not lying we've only been here for 10 days... How come 2 years have passed when we just got here a week ago..." (Azazel)

[We're not lying too, we've been staying in our dimension for 2 years]

"... Can it be?" 

Lucias muttered while scratching his chin, remembering one of the functions of the instant dungeon that he wasn't able to create nor destroy for 2 years.

"Hmm... I guess it is possible"

Azazel says while taking out her notepad from her pocket, flipping it at the page containing information about the instant dungeon explained by the other girls.

"What do you mean, Azazel?" (Lucifer)

"According to Asia and Lily from before, the instant dungeons create by Lucias has different time rations depending on the difficulty of the dungeon... So I can conclude that the same applies for the dimensions... because our dimension is far too dangerous compared to Lucias'. The time in this place is far too slow compared to their dimension" (Azazel)

"... So that means, you haven't met us for 2 years?"

Lucifer asked in shock while looking at both Yuu and Lucias alternately and noticed that Lucias grew taller than the last time they met him. His facial features became more mature unlike before. Yuu on the other hand didn't age at all but stayed the same unlike Lucias.

"... Did you finish your quests, Lucias?" (Azazel)

"Yeah... I got a lot of shop points from the stunt that I pulled before" (Lucias)

"Can you tell us what happened in the span of 2 years, Lucias?" (Azazel)

Azazel asked with extreme curiosity while holding her notepad in her hand.

Lucias shrugged his shoulder and started to tell them all of the events that happened in the span of 2 years from him meeting Rito and Mikan, struggling to find Lala Satalin Deviluke and getting engaged to her due to an accident.

"Well, I spent 1 year together with Sephie and her Generals to teach me on how to be an overlord so that they can pass the throne to me and Lala. They thought me strategizing, and territorial management"

"An overlord? Interesting" (Azazel)

"Yeah, most of the time, they tried to push my confidence since according to them, Prestige and Confidence is what makes the subjects follow and obey the ruler" (Lucias)

"They always beat me up together everytime I underestimate myself" (Lucias)

Lucias says with a nostalgic smile as he remembered his past experiences with them.

-Flashback-

"You damn kid, don't look down on yourself. Do you think my daughters are that blind to choose a shitty man as their husband"

Gid shouted as he fired a large beam of energy from his tail towards Lucias.

Lucias immediately dodged the beam of energy before using blink behind Gid, throwing a right hook above him, burying him to the ground.

"But thats-"

"Don't 'but' me kid, you're underestimating your specs far too much. Even my own wife wants to leave me because of you!! Tch... Damn it making me remember that!!"

Gid screamed in anger before using his hands as a spring to launch himself from the ground, aiming an axe kick on Lucias' head.

"Kid, if you weren't the fiancé of my daughters, I could just strangled you to death for what you've done"

"Old man"

Lucias says with a large grin on his face as he spun his body around, kicking Gid on his right cheek with all of his strength, launching him towards the wall.

"Thanks for the confidence boost, 'father-in-law', but I'll still beat you for harassing Yuu on multiple occasions"

"Try me kid"

Gid grinned while wiping the blood off of his cheek, charging at Lucias with his full speed.

"Mother, aren't we going to stop them?"

Momo asked her mother who was happily watching at the side of the training room.

"This is how men talk seriously with each other, dear"

"This is stupid" 

Nana muttered with a slightly worried expression on her face while looking at Lucias.

"You need to be more honest with your feelings, Nana. What if Lucias leaves you for your stubbornness" (Sephie)

"H-Huh?! W-why would I care if he leaves me or not?!" (Nana)

"Then would you like to try?" (Momo)

"No!!"

Nana immediately shouted before realising that she has been tricked by her own sister in blurting out her real thoughts causing her to blush in embarrassment, running out of the room.

"Don't bully her, Momo" (Lala)

"Hmm... I'll try" (Momo)

"I'm happy to see the 3 of you getting along"

Sephie smiled brightly while looking at her daughters.

Timeskip

"Thanks for taking care of us for the past year"

Lucias along with Schwi and Yuu bowed their heads at Sephie and Gid.

"Why are you saying you're goodbyes? It's not like we're not going to meet you anymore" (Sephie)

"... No, I'm planning to come back, I still have to marry my 3 fiancés after all"

Lucias smiled at the Deviluke royalty, causing Nana, Momo and Lala blush red from his words.

"Then I'll be going now"

Lucias kissed his fiancés forehead before giving them one last goodbye as Yuu made a portal connecting to Rito and Milan's home to say their goodbyes.

"Kid"

Gid called out before Lucias could even enter the portal.

"Don't die on me, King Deviluke"

"I won't let you down, Gid"

Lucias entered the portal leaving the Devilukes as a string of notifications appeared in front of him.

[All races under the Devilukes has joined the faction]

[Lucias Frey has completed his quest]

[Eucliwood Hellscythe has completed her quest]

"... Maybe our meeting will not take that long, Gid"

"... Lucias" (Lucifer)

"Yeah?"

"You confessed to Yuu right?" (Lucifer)

"Yeah... Why?"

"Yuu can you leave the 3 of us alone for a moment" (Lucifer)

[Sure, is it about that? Don't worry I already told him about the our plan from before]

"So he knows? And he still haven't accepted us?" (Lucifer)

"Ahem... I was planning to tell you after we're done... Sorry"

"Why? Can't it be now?" (Lucifer)

"Uh... About that..."

[His planning to create a romantic atmosphere before he confesses to both of you]

"Yuu?!"

"... Are you an idiot?" (Lucifer)

"..."

"Hehehe~ We don't care whether it's romantic or not Lucias. We still have plenty of chances to do so in the future once we're together"

Azazel smiled brightly while holding his left arm, pressing it on her breast.

"*Sigh*... You don't need to do that for us, Lucias"

"But..."

"You're really an idiot"

Lucifer muttered before giving him a kiss on his lips while wrapping her arms around his neck.

"If you do that, it will take too much time, especially when the others are waiting... I love you, Lucias"

Lucifer smiled as she tried to kiss him again but Azazel pulled him away from her before she could even kiss him.

"It's my turn, Lucifer"

Azazel says with a slight pout on her cheeks before giving Lucias a quick kiss on his lips.

"Hehehe~ I'm so happy, Lucias"

Azazel energetically says with a messy smile on her face while hugging him tightly. Lucias smiled at her childish behaviour before kissing her tenderly on her lips as he wrapped her arms around her back.

"No regrets?"

"Hmm... should I?" (Azazel)

"Too late"

He happily smiled as he gave him one last peck on her cheeks before letting her go from his embrace.

"Schwi too"

Schwi who was watching by the sides complained while watching them flirt in front of her.

She was modified by the genius inventor Lala to have the program and AI to make it possible for her to perceive emotions like what she did with Peke. Lala due to her curiosity at that time replaced added several new features on her body to make it seems more human like, unlike before... functions like eating, drinking, and even reproduction is added into her body.

"Once you're older"

Lucias patted her head before facing both Azazel and Lucifer with a serious expression on his face.

"I have a plan to finally end this long war..."

Lucias smiled at the two of them before taking out a piece of paper from his pockets, containing all of the information that he got from Schwi in the past concerning the Star Cup, The races, and The great War.

"...and to obtain the Star Cup for ourselves"
