Chapter 1: Time Travel

Buzz buzz~ buzz buzz~~

A hand stretched out from the bed and firmly grabbed the phone on the bedside table. "Hello!? Who is it!?" "Hello, this is Shunfeng Express. Your package has arrived. Please pick it up at the delivery station at the community gate before noon."

The phone's owner suddenly sat up, his earlier morning grumpiness instantly evaporating. "Okay, I'll head over right away."

Di Da rubbed his sleepy eyes and casually checked his phone. "Oh, it's already 10 o'clock! Looks like I stayed up a bit late last night. But I need to get up quickly; my new phone has arrived!"

Di Da had a strong interest in clay sculpture. After high school, he began learning about clay art. Eventually, he dropped out of school and became an apprentice under a master of clay sculpture, dedicating himself to learning the technique in order to carry on this ancient art form.

Fortunately, Di Da had quite a talent. After several years of hard work and guidance from his master, Di Da had gained a certain degree of recognition. At the very least, he could earn a living from it.

He would receive three or four orders per month, creating clay sculptures according to the requests of clients. The income was decent.

Like the current order he received, the client requested the creation of ten various explosive clay figures of Deidara from the Naruto manga.

As an artist, Di Da possessed the qualities necessary for this profession. So when he accepted the order, he began reading the Naruto manga. He aimed to highly replicate the mindset of Deidara when he was creating his explosive clay figurines, striving for both visual and expressive accuracy in his work.

Admittedly, due to his keen interest in clay sculpting, Di Da spent his youth immersed in making and appreciating various clay sculptures and had little time for comic books.

He wasn't particularly interested in those comics either, so he simply skimmed through them, focusing primarily on Deidara, without paying detailed attention to anything else.

Therefore, after seeing Deidara's self-detonation, he closed his computer, feeling that there was no point in continuing since Deidara was dead. After all, reading comics was quite time-consuming and hard on the eyes.

Holding the phone, Di Da took a look at his clay sculptures, but ultimately decided to set up the phone first before continuing his work.

He removed the SIM card from his old phone and installed it in the new Sanxing phone, then powered it on.

To test the new phone's responsiveness and speed, the simplest method was to play a large mobile game.

Remembering that his friend highly recommended the Naruto mobile game, along with the recently made Deidara clay figure, Di Da thought he would try the Naruto game.

After connecting to the Wi-Fi and downloading the game, Di Da logged in. After the tutorial ended, a window popped up announcing that Deidara had arrived.

Even though chakra was just a fictional concept in the manga, the idea of controlling the characters from the comic in battle was an astounding novelty to him.

Of course, this was just Di Da's impression; he could think this way since he didn't have much exposure to games.

Engrossed in gameplay, he completely lost track of time, becoming as absorbed as when he was creating clay sculptures.

Since the new phone's battery wasn't very full at first, Di Da kept it plugged in while playing.

So, deeply focused, he didn't notice that the phone and charger had begun to emit curling wisps of smoke.

By the time he realized, the phone was already starting to overheat before suddenly "boom!!"

Downstairs, an elderly man saw smoke billowing from the window of Di Da's apartment and quickly dialed 119 to report a fire.

The next day, the city news reported: "Yesterday, a famous clay sculptor, Di Da, suffered a fire outbreak at his home, resulting in thick smoke, which nearly ignited a fire in the entire apartment building. Fortunately, firefighters arrived in time to control the fire.

However, Master Di Da tragically lost his life; it is believed that the fire was caused by an explosion from the Sanxing phone. Firefighters stated that Master Di Da may have been rendered unconscious due to the explosion and was unable to escape the fire, which led to his death.

"Who are you?!" Di Da jolted awake, feeling irritable once more, "And I'm not Deidara, I'm Di Da!"

He rubbed his head and suddenly realized that a cute little girl with black hair and a white face was staring angrily at him.

At that moment, the little girl, pouting in annoyance, said, "Deidara Brother, how can you be mad because Uncle went on a mission and didn't stay home with me?!" She added indignantly, "Even if you're upset, you can't just change your name! You're older than I am!"

Di Da felt his mind spinning. He wasn't at home anymore; his phone exploded, and then he passed out.

Deidara, Deidara... That name sounded familiar! Oh, isn't that the character from the manga Naruto that he glanced at?

Sitting up, he looked into a nearby mirror, where a golden-haired figure was reflected alongside the fuming yet adorably cute face of the little girl. So, he had traveled to another world?!
