THE FEELING OF LOVE

"Good morning everyone!" Josephine was elated this morning as she greeted her family at the breakfast table. "You look different today, Jo. something must have happened yesterday in your University Alumni?" Said Mrs Wei. Mr Wei and Joy turn their eyes towards Josephine and wait patiently for her to answer. Josephine eyes shine beamly. "I'm offered a job as a PA to the Managing Director of an International Company. Denise Song talked to me yesterday and she wants me to start work next Monday." "Mom, you remember Denise Song? My best friend in University, is the HR Director of that International Company. She knows my capabilities as a PA when I was assign to Professor Dean during Uni days. She approached me yesterday and offered me the position. I acceped it on the spot.

The salary is so attractive and comes with additional perks of benefits that I can't refuse." Mr Wei was so happy for Josephine that he laughs with joy. "That's great!" Joy said. Josephine is 3 years younger than Joy. She is glad that the family loves her very much, and there is no secret in the family. "But... there is one condition." "What condition?" Dad, Mom and Joy ask in unison.

Josephine looks at them and hesitate to answer the immediately for she knows they will be sad. Josephine pause awhile. "Let it out, Jo." Mr Wei said. "I have to stay in my boss house in a private island. My boss never goes to the office. He operates at home and gives instructions to key people to run the whole company and get reports back to him. No one in the office has seen him except the key people. Denise has worked for him for 4 years and never once seen him at all. But he's a very successful businessman."

"I will be his Private & Confidential PA and I will be staying in that island. According to Denise, I will have 2 months of annual leave per year and 2 paid holiday (2 weeks each) by the company. Isn't it wonderful?" All look concern and quiet after they heard of Josephine's leaving next week for the job. Mrs Wei especially. "Don't worry, I call you all every night." Mrs Wei look at Josephine and says "You must take good care of yourself, if you don't like the job, come home anytime." Jo walks towards her mom and give her a hug. The tears gather on her eyes and she's holding it back.
