All the rest of that day they remained in the great hall to which they had hypothetically attributed a ceremonial use, without perceiving any sign of activity in the section of the cavern where they were. They saw the lights that filtered from the ceiling of the supposed stage fade as night fell again outside the mountain.
“I wonder what the driver of the vehicle that brought us to Alamut did when he saw that two days passed and we did not appear.” Lakshmi expressed.
"Knowing the reputation of these ruins and our purpose it is likely that he has assumed that they have killed us and has retreated to prevent them from seeking him as well." Jack replied.
"Let's hope that on his return to Tehran he will be discreet and did not mention our presence in the area to anyone." added Taro Suzuki.
