A short novel featuring Estra Herdove an elven girl from a small remote village named Sylhonor. In this world all children age 13 recieve a crest. The crest determines their future options. The mage crest showcases those with inate magical affinities. The crest of the warrior boasts great physical strength and a warriors heart. The scholars crest is bestowed to those with a great hunger for knowledge and learning. The null crest is given to those who follow no direct path, this is the most common crest. The final crest is the most rare. It's given to only a few each year. Those who recieve it though have no boundaries between the attributes of other crests.
