Subconscious Mind part I

As soon as Hunter reached the room he was told by the voice to lay down in his bed. The voice explained that there is a time where you can go into your subconscious to mind when you are half asleep. The time when you are awake and not awake. Hunter then asked "How the hell am i supposed to be half asleep."

The voice then said "Concentrate on sleeping as soon as you get to the point when you are about to fall asleep, stop yourself. Keep doing this and you will reach the subconscious state where the body wants to sleep and the mind wants to stay awake."

Hunter laid down and it didn't take him long to get to the point of almost falling asleep as he was very tired. He did as he was told and fought the urge at the last moment. He did this multiple times as nothing happened just as he was about to give in to the sleep he fought it one more time and couldn't control himself. After that he went to sleep or so he thought. Hunter woke up to some sort of noises around him. As he woke up he could see that he was in a black room; he stood up with panic and looked around to see that he was completely surrounded by darkness. He ran in a direction hoping to see some sort of light but he saw nothing. As he was running he noticed that it seemed like this dark room went on forever. Then he heard something behind him. He knew he couldn't do anything so he turned around to see 2 large red eyes looking at him. Hunter took multiple steps as the fear took over him. Then the Voice said "How does my realm look to you puny human"

Hunter then realized that the eyes belonged to the voice which was a dragon. He looked up at the dragon with fear. As of right now he could only see the red eyes glowing in the dark abyss. Then the voice said "I will teach my techniques and the techniques that are used by the dragons. You will become the strongest amongst all of your fellow puny humans and become the king of this world. As I was of mine."

Hunter looked at him and said "How are you supposed to train me in the dark? I can't see anything and what do you mean you were a king?"

The voice stared at him and said "I will give you the vision of the dragons who were able to see clearly in day or night and land or sky. As for your second question, that is a story for another time. We must focus on making you stronger."

Hunter then asked "How are you going to give me the vision of dragons?"

The Voice didn't say anything but instead reached out with its large arm . Hunter couldn't see the arm until it was right in front of his head. He used his finger to touch the middle of his forehead. Hunter didnt dodge as he knew the voice meant him no harm or so he thought. As soon as the finger touched his forehead he felt something enter him from there going through his brain causing his face to turn hot and a little steam to come from his ears. Then the feeling reached his eyes. At first his eyes started to heat up then it felt like they were on fire. Hunter started to scream in pain and began clutching his eyes as if to put out flames at that part of the body. As his hands reached his eyes they were burnt by the intense heat. Hunter couldn't do anything but wait for the pain to subside.
