Bad memories

Mary Ruth laughed at the words of her niece who had just returned from America, even though Virgo was in America but their communication went very well. Since both of Virgo's parents died, Mary has taken care of all of Virgo's needs. That's why at this time the relationship between the two of them was as close as a mother and a biological child.

"Is that girl prettier than Valerie?"

Virgo's face immediately changed, his smile vanishing. "I don't remember that girl named Valerie anymore."

"Are you still mad at her? Ten years have passed Virgo."

"That woman has made Reagan and I hostile to each other for months and she doesn't feel guilty at all for doing such a lowly thing, even now she hasn't apologized to either of us at all," Virgo said curtly, Recalling Valerie's actions that had made her and Reagan's enemies ten years ago irritated Virgo.

Mary Ruth pursed her lips. "Valerie has already gotten revenge for what she did to you guys, haven't you heard the latest news about her?"

"No, I'm covering my ears from that woman," Virgo replied firmly.

"Okay..well, forgive for discussing Valerie again, because it's getting late it would be better if we rest. Auntie is tired and very sleepy." Mary Ruth kept her mouth shut as she spoke.

Virgo's anger immediately vanished seeing how tired her aunt was at this time. "Auntie rest first then, I still have to take care of some remaining work."

"Okay professor, I won't bother you. But remember, you have to rest as soon as you're tired. Don't force your body."

"Yes ma'am, I understand."

Mary Ruth landed a kiss on Virgo's forehead before she finally walked away leaving Virgo alone, her immature age made Mary unable to sleep late. After the aunt disappeared from his sight, Virgo got up from the sofa and walked towards the mini bar not far from where he was sitting. Accustomed to living independently for almost ten years in America makes Virgo used to drinking alone.

"Looks like we won't be seeing each other again, so we don't need to know each other."

Virgo smiled as she recalled the rejection sentence given by Crystal, the girl she met at her aunt's school this morning. Never getting any rejection from a girl makes Virgo's competitive spirit call. His desire to conquer the girl grew so big in his chest.

"Sooner or later I will definitely get your name, sweet girl," Virgo said softly as she shook the brandy glass in his hand before he finally drank it slowly. Virgo is determined to return to his aunt's school, where he meets the fairy who immediately takes half of his heart away with his nimble little feet.

"You can go wherever you want and here's your money," Reagan said quietly as he handed Crystal a few hundred dollar bills.

Crystal looked at Reagan with teary eyes. "I don't want to go, I want to be with you Reagan."

"You really don't want to buy anything?'

"I'm scared of Reagan," Crystal said hoarsely. "There's a lot of people here."

Reagan put his hands together on his chest. "Of course it's crowded, if you want quiet go to the desert or the woods."

"I-I'm serious Reagan."

Reagan then grabbed Crystal's hand and squeezed it tightly."I'm not my grandfather, so don't spoil me."

Crystal tried her best not to cry even though she really wanted to cry, Reagan didn't care at all about her great fear.

"You already have a cell phone, don't you?"

Crystal nodded slowly. "Yes."

"That's fine then, what's the matter!"

"I-I don't understand what you mean Reagan."

Raegan growled. "I shouldn't have done that. A stupid girl like you can't use the brain that God has given you to the fullest."

Crystal bit her lower lip hard, trying to keep herself calm at the insults Reagan gave her.

"You already have my number, so you can call me using yours." Reagan said "I'm not going to leave you in this place, grandpa would definitely kill me with his own hands if I throw you in this place."

"But I'm afraid, Reagan, I've never been to a place like this."

Reagan snorted in annoyance. " If you're scared then just wait here and don't go anywhere for two hours, wait for me to come back because I'm really hungry right now and really want to eat."

Crystal looked around, trying to scan the surroundings. "I'll just wait for you here then."

" Whatever, take care of yourself and here's your money. I won't leave you in a place like this without money, I'm not that cruel," Reagan said back as he forcefully handed Crystal the money.

"Don't take too long Reagan."

"Hey woman, realize your position!" Reagan immediately shouted at Crystal loudly. "You can't manage me, you're just a contract wife. Your rank isn't even higher than the maids in my house, so don't be so impudent."

"S-sorry Reagan, I didn't mean to set you up. I just..."

"Shut up, the more you talk the more angry I get with you." Reagan cut Crystal's words loudly. "Talking to you makes my appetite go away, you damn bastard."

After saying that Reagan left Crystal in front of the gate where they got off the plane ten minutes ago, Crystal's whole body shook as Reagan completely disappeared from her sight.The memory that Crystal wanted to forget suddenly came back, the memory of her being forcibly carried away by two of Angelica's errand girls who dragged her to the ground. an orphanage in Melbourne. A place so far from the city where all her happiness was cruelly snatched away by an evil woman who heartily built a palace on top of her family's eight years ago.

"Mommy…please take care of me, I'm scared..."
