Olivia's POV:
I knew he wouldn't like the idea, but life is too short to hate someone.
"Aren't you curious where she is? What is she doing?"
"I know where she is, and no one is allowed to mention her name beside me," Alex said angrily before leaving Orlene's room.
Well, not everything could be fixed. I went downstairs, and we made breakfast before sitting together at the table.
Alex muttered, "I am sorry." I smiled because I never expected him to apologize. After all, I was in the wrong and not him.
"Since the long-separated friends have reunited, how about a men's outing?" Mateo asked all of a sudden.
"What do you mean by men outing? What about us?' Tasha scoffed.
"You girls could go shopping or anywhere else; we will pay the bills," he answered, and I was about to refute when Alex said, "I am in; I need some air."
"Then what about me? You are going out alone." I pouted, and he chuckled.
