Chapter 2: The Ancient One meets his Usurper

After a few days of trying this new technique from the Queen of the Gods herself. It helps me be more accurate with sensing people aura. Not just that animals also. Momma has a huge wolf named Tobias. He acts as a seeing eye dog and a body guard for me and Azou. Lately he's been getting chunky he's soo cute. I love him sooo much. But one thing that's been bugging me is that weird groggy voice. Im trying to not cause any unwanted attention to myself. Especially when Papa is around. He's what ya call wise beyond his years despite being part Parith and part god hehe. I can't hide anything from him. Strange enough Papa knows a lot and just sort of observes. Maybe I act like him when im serious.

Oh am I rambling. Sorry. Its something Mom does when she is bored or just focusing on something. I hear Azou open my door and she tells me dinner is ready. I just lay on the bed thinking of that voice still.

"Get up geesh. Gasp!! Your in your panties?!! Ewwwww. Then again..I don't really wear clothes. I technically have no private parts but can form them at will. Azou oh so confidently and stupidly says. "Hey as leader of a whole race. Ya gotta have perks. Meanwhile YOU missy have to gain ya strength.

Come..ooonnnn...get..uppppp!!" She lifts Luna up with a pillow in her arms. We sit at the round table. Momma gives us food. She notice I seemed distracted.

"Luna. Whats wrong. You usually eat a bunch of food like Azou. Something is bugging you isn't it?" I hesitate and play with the pillow. Im not really sure how to explain this. But its appearance was in a dream of sort." I said mumbling into the pillow. "Mom..i..it was just a nightmare. Well of a voice. It kept whispering my name. Than a name I never heard of." Momma wonders what name it was. Just than Papa floats inside from a black portal. He kisses me and Azou on our heads. As he sits at the table. He wonders what's happening.

"You mentioned a detached voice whispering to you daughter? Well. A few select gods can do that. Me, Nea, Your mother and Nea's son Psion. Maybe you have the gift of foresight like your grandmother Umi. Or is that your great grandmother Willow.

Nope definitely Willow. Dragons are meant to be wise." He chuckles while I clenched my head. I strained as the voice becomes so loud the whole palace echoes in its wake.

"LUUUUUUUNAAAAAAAA. CURSE TO YOU.THE DAY YOU WERE IN THE WOMB. MY DEFEAT WAS AT HAAAANNNDD!!!!" The voice than disappears and I return to normal. The others are in shock to hear that voice again.

"Luna! Get dressed. Azou you and Papa stay here!! Watch the house now!!." Momma shouted. I panic in not knowing what the absolute fuck is going on. What has made mom so alert and why is dad and Azou guarding the palace. I get dressed and Mom teleports us to Nea's palace. She wakes up Nea and tells her every thing. Moments later. Silence. We just sit on the smooth ground and I guess meditate. Than Nea speaks to me.

"You said you heard a groggy voice and it knows your name? Well..only one person. No a god can project his voice. Tell me Luna. have you heard of the Ancient God Fafir?"

I was confused. I shrugged my shoulders and nervously giggled. That voice did say its name in a dream before. Maybe this was him or her or even it.

"Uhh..no. But was this a powerful deity?" I asked.

Nea paused and from what I can tell. I felt a very powerful gust of wind burst past me. Apparently mom says she moved her fist so fast the wind fled from her power alone. Man Nea must be insanely strong. I love strong short people hehe. "Luna.

Fafir was once a primordial god. He was apart of the very first of first along with me. You see. Billions of years before even your greatest grand parents were born. There was A few other primordials and Fafir. One day I was observing a strange new realm and cautiously did I observe it for any monsters or dead spirits. To summarize: Fafir disobeyed my order to not go into that realm,he came out and was never the same.

From what I was told by the other primordials who were with me at the time. Fafir killed the one that caught him in the act. Then he went on a rampage and killed the other primordials. Sooner than later. He went for me. Claiming he was in love with me. Not gonna lie. I fell in love with him also. But it hurt so badly to sent him away. Into.. into the very realm he once didn't know." The small goddess finishes her story and sits on the smooth ground.

Intrigued to learn more about this deity. I asked if there were any braille books on him. Nea gave me a whole massive bible instead on him. I struggled to lift the book. Than the voice whispered my name again. It was very clear this time, a deep groggy male voice. Possibly deeper than my dad's. Me and mom walk back home. Strange enough Nius is on clouds. Sort of like how Earthlings depict the greatest of all paradises. Heaven. They feel soooo soft under my feet even when wearing shoes. I remember eating one little cloud as a kid and it tasted of milk and honey.

Sooo good. Anyway once we get home. Papa yells something to Mom and me. I can barely make it out cause he's so far away. We get closer and Papa says one word that stops me in my tracks. "You guys made it just in time. According to the recent events thats been happening as of late. The Voice we all heard has the other gods slightly panicked. Once Papa mentioned panic. I get a little scared myself and wonder if this Voice is gonna lead to something really bad. I shake it off, head inside and immediately get in my training gear. I furiously punished the dummies in the training room and kick the air. Suddenly I heard a massive roar so loud it shook Nius and the planet below.

" Azou!! Take Luna and get out of here!! Now. He's returned!!! Skyra lets goo!!" My dad yells and Azou swoops me up and flies away from the roar. I hear large gusts of wind and all of a sudden Azou screams. She says shes falling and tells me to stay calm. Seconds later I hear a thud. We land on solid ground and I feel very uncomfortable. A strange familiar feeling occurs. I don't sense Azou at all. Then I slowly walk around. Nervous and scared everything is cold and frigid along with intense heat. I get a bit nauseous and vomit. Not knowing were I am I pass out and fear I may die here in this accursed realm.

"Arise. Young one. WAKE UP!! you are before the Lord of Beasts, The Father of Gods. Not the King of Gods. The Evil One. Fafir the Ancient Primordial. I go by many monikers but never have I been so humiliated by the likes of..a blind bastard." The god says angrily.

I wake up and feel a very intense dark aura. It makes me shiver in fear. With each step It sounds like a earthquake. For some reason I smell anger. Than the pieces connect. THIS...this is the banished god. Fafir. I turn and search for my cane. Than i feel a long ragged and torn robe. I feel his pants leg and im pushed to the ground.

" Oowww..Look I don't even know who you are!!! Ya don't need to push me ya know. Where's my sister Azou. What happen to mom and dad? A..are you Fafir?" I asked curiously.

He turns swiftly with his robe hitting me in the face. Not even a second later I feel a kick in my gut and im sent flying across where ever I am. Soon after Im caught by a cold hand. The grip is very strong despite the wrinkles. It feels like a iron claw. I bite the hand and scramble free after im dropped. Now I know for sure this is indeed Fafir and I must be in his realm. Maybe I fell in a portal or something.

"You made a grave mistake girl. Because of you. I have returned to this dreadful place. I contemplated my revenge. But Nea has specifically made it to were if only I agree to fight with the gods will I be free. Preposterous. I am the evil one. Such pity is not tolerated. As for you. You are Luna. If not I'll kill you and consume you were you stand."

The god declares. His threats putting cracks into the once smooth floors.

Scared. And also excited. I get on my feet and wonder why this guy is soo mean. Maybe after all this he just wanted to be loved. That or he's like this naturally.

" I am indeed Luna. But you are a primordial god who fell from grace. Reminds me of a certain other once perfect being who had it all. But then was cast down because he tried to go against his creator." I say arrogantly. Angry Fafir grabs me by my throat and chokes me slowly and surely. " Do you think I am THAT fool. Noooo. I am not stupid enough to give up what I have becuase I wanted to be like something i am not. I know I am the KING!!! And all shall know it. " He tosses me hard onto the ground and kicks me into the guts again.

" Hmmm..maybe. I can use you as a example Luna. A message to everyone. I have a deal for youuuu. Are ya listening?" He picks me up and dust the dirt off my face.

As I feel pretty much helpless in some evil god's grasp. I have no choice but to listen.

" Ahem. If your done being retarded you may wanna focus your attention to the deal I have. Here goes you worthless wretch. I notice. Your blind and were born that way. I can give you sight." He smiled while feeding a massive transparent dragon. I hear his knuckles crack. I know he's bsing. Nea said she can't do it no one can.

"That's impossible. Its from birth ya know. No god nor goddess can take away a incurable disease. Mine is blindness. You have to be as strong as the....the..." I pause as I feel his intense stare waiting for me to finish my sentence. " Anywhoo fool. I can do what most cannot. Now let me finish before I do something you'll never want to remember." Says Fafir who sits on his throne thinking to himself. " Ahh well. I give you sight and you give me the ability to rule over all of Nius. By setting me free."

Soon after that. I figure it couldn't hurt setting him free. But then again. The roar and the hurrricane like winds. This may be the bad thing to do. I finally feel my cane and think long and hard. Once I finish thinking I turn to Fafir and nod my head. " Okay. I'll help you get free by convincing Nea. She did mention she was in love with you. Maybe you can love her also. He says nothing and I feel his hand rest on my face. Everything turns into a blur and than. Im back home in Nea's palace. I hear someone waking me up. The voice sounds familiar. Its Nea. She hugs me and tells me the cause of the roar and the winds.

Turns out it was a Molamom. A large creature to create hurricane winds and a roar just by yawning. Interesting for sure and dangerous. I hear Azou and Momma. They help me to my feet and tell me I have black markings around my eyes. I'm confused how?
