As the stages were being prepared, various discussions were going on among the spectators as the who they think should win. The Pochi Lamm country stands were in a very jubilant mood as they have finally made it into the finale round after three decades. No wonder your people have been so brazen during the competition this time".

Immortal Zu smiled and said " yes,yes I have finally advanced into the true Immortal realm, by the way this Zu's juniors have the competence to back their action. You can only blame your academy for not raising competent juniors this time round.

He sat back in the chair and said " because you have achieved a little success this time you, are acting all high and mighty. Wait until the final starts then those stronger than your juniors would surely put them in their place."

A dark horse that many has forgotten about already. Due to his defeating all his opponent's in the early stages and losing no match he has won merit and was automatically sent to the final. But since he hadn't fought in a while he seems to have been forgotten by both elders and participants. Instead of eight there is going to be nine participants in this finals. They are in for a surprise indeed.

Unfortunately most people thought he had just broken through to the peak of spirit stage as he suppressed the breakthrough whiles quickly dispatching his opponent before been escorted back to their courtyard where he broke through from one realm to the next and jumped two levels straight to become a mid stage Xantian Martial force realm cultivator.

He spent the last three weeks in constant battle with spiritbeast at the outskirt of the island to solidify his cultivation base and become familiar with his new realm. He had quite an exciting time. Fighting spirit beast and flying his treasured sword.

The fourth princes or his fourth highness as the people refer to him is always humble and mingles with the people, he is not pompous in the least and would eat food with a begger on the street. This humble trait has endeared him to the people and he is well loved . Even though most of the nobles and royals considered him a stain on their prestige due to this behavior, he himself could careless. Infact the crown Prince always feels threatened by him since he is even more well liked and talented than he is.

As he was airborne travelling quickly to the Arena, the preparations for the finals were done and the supervising elders from the various Sects have assumed their positions around the Arena. "On this 31st day of the year of the rabbit , the finals of this year's Black Dragon Tournament begins. There are nine participants and therefor there shall be two rounds. The first round all participants would go and stage in a group battle to eliminate five of their number. This eliminated five shall be ranked from fifth to ninth based on the order of elimination.

The second round would be one on one battle between the remaining two pair of participants. After which two losing participants would determine the place in the third and fourth position as the two winners would battle to determine the ultimate first place and the second place".

There was an uproar among both spectators and the remaining seven participating countries. "Why nine participants, where is the ninth person. This is not fair" others also joined in and there was chaos as people offers their unsolicited views in a very rully manner. There was so much noise that the arean began to shake. "SILENCCEEEEE!!!" Avoice powered with yun qi reverberated throughout the Arena, causing some mortals to faint whiles blood flowed out of their orifices and cultivators covered their ears in pain and discomfort.

Li Xiexie of the Ancient Marple country qualifies from semifinals

Mu yi of the Deagon Cauldron country qualifies from semifinals

Zhao Lui Ma of the Lion Beak country qualifies from semifinals

(goes to the Heavens gate academy even though he is from another country)

Chu Xie Yi of Yellow Sand country qualifies from semifinals

Li Baitin of the Pochi Lam Country qualifies from semifinals

And The fourth Prince Zu Longxie who after winning all his group stage matches (40 matches in a row) and therefore qualifies on merit to the finals."

Everyone was shocked, how could they have forgotten this dark horse,not only is he the youngest participant, he is also a Prince of the Empire and he truelly dominated the early matches of the tournament. He was so domineering that all his opponent's were dispatched off within a few moves even though he was a realm below most to them; a spirit realm cultivator who dispatches off Xantian Martial force realm cultivators.

That was some amazing feat right there. How could they have forgotten this dazzling youth. But wait a moment he is just in the spirit realm and these are some real Xantian Martial force cultivators, the cream of the crop, some are even mid stage Xantian Martial force realm cultivators can, this forth Prince of Black Dragon Empire actually battle with them?
