Tara POV
Flashbacks of that horrid night with Tim replayed in my mind repeatedly. I became paralyzed with fear.
I stared into Rena’s glowing eyes, and it was like I was staring back at Tim. All I could see was the hatred she had toward me. All I could see was the darkness swimming behind her eyes. All I could see was bloodlust.
I stood my ground. Maybe it was stupidity ruling my mind, but I had fought so hard to come this far, and I would be damned if some jealous wannabe girl brought me down even if that said girl was a part bloodthirsty beast.
“Rena,” Victor’s voice reached my ears. My eyes snapped open, and I looked to my right to see him making his way down the hall. His eyes were zeroed in on Rena, who was still growling at me.
“Rena,” Victor's voice boomed again. “I won’t ask you again. Let her go.”
