6 Tom

Jacob was doing one of his daily routines with Madoc, at the training ground, outside the castle. Madoc was training Jacob in the art of combat.

'' You have learnt a lot, since we began training, my dear squire '' said Madoc.

'' Thank you master. It is only with your guidance and wisdom that I have been able to come this far '' said Jacob.

'' That may be true, but give yourself some credit. The fact that you never gave up, is also the reason that you have come this far, but remember,Jacob. You still have a lot to learn, so do not let your ego get the better of you in battle. Never underestimate your opponent '' said Madoc.

'' Sasuga, my lord '' said Jacob.

'' What? '' said Madoc.

'' Forgive me, my lord. That was a little over the top '' said Jacob, but

Madoc just had a confused look on his face.

Merlin was walking in the hallway that led to his chambers.

Merlin finally reached the door that led to his chambers, and opened it.

That was when a bucket, filled with slime fell over him, from atop of the door.

Merlin was now covered (from head to toe) in slime.

Merlin could hear laughter, and looked at the end of the hallway, and saw Mordred and Jacob standing there.

'' Did you think we had forgotten? '' Said Mordred.

'' Did you think we had forgiven? '' said Jacob.

Merlin wanted to give chase to the two boys, but immediately fell to the ground after the first step.

Merlin now looked at Mordred and Jacob from the ground, and smiled. Because

Arthur was now standing behind Mordred and Jacob.

Mordred and Jacob looked up at Arthur.

Arthur looked down at the two boys, and then at Merlin, and then started to laugh.

'' I must say. You two have really outdone yourselves '' said Arthur.

'' Yeah and would you believe. That we had originally planned to drop the slime on you '' said Jacob.

Mordred just looked at Jacob.

Arthur then slowly stopped laughing. He then bend down and took both Mordred and Jacob under each arm and walked towards the dungeon.

'' So no one is going to help me '' said Merlin still on the ground fully covered in slime.

After Merlin had finally cleaned himself up and was in his chambers.

" Rough day? " said Merlin's pet owl.

Merlin simply looked at his owl and then said

" Shut it Archimedes "

Merlin and Arthur walked towards the throne room.

'' Those two seriously need to find another hobby '' Said Arthur.

'' Yeah. I totally agree '' said Merlin.

'' I don't think that you have any right to talk, Merlin. After all, you do not even have a hobby '' said Arthur.

'' Yes I do. I have a garden '' said Merlin.

Arthur turned around to look at Merlin and said '' A garden? ''

'' Yes '' said Merlin '' A garden of avocados ''

Arthur lifted his right index finger, opened his mouth, but gave up, and continued walking towards the throne room.

'' You may do that now, but guess who will be laughing when you become a fat king '' yelled Merlin behind Arthur.

Arthur turned around and started to give chase after Merlin, and Merlin for once. Actually ran for his life.

'' Man, there is nothing like spending the morning inside the dungeon '' said Jacob slowly walking towards the lower town.

'' It seems that Mordred wanted to train with Loholt and Lancelot. Maybe I should have gone with them '' said Jacob quietly to himself, but then Jacob noticed someone holding a basket in front of him, and it was none other than Tom.

'' Hey Tom '' said Jacob running towards Tom.

Tom turned around and said '' Oh hello there Jacob. Long-time no see ''

'' Where are you heading off to '' said Jacob now standing in front of Tom.

'' I am heading towards the city gates with some supplies for the guards '' said Tom.

'' Oh. Do you mind if I tagged along? '' said Jacob.

'' Not at all. The more the merrier '' said Tom and the two boys, then walked towards the city gates.

'' Tom. I have a question '' said Jacob.

'' Well ask away '' said Tom.

'' Why do people refer to you, as the black knight? '' said Jacob.

'' Oh that. It is a long story. It all started a year ago, back when I just became sir Bedivere's squire. It was around the time of a festival, and I wanted to make a strong impression with everybody, and what better way to stand out, but with black armor.

I put on some black armor, and went to join everyone at the festival, but the armor was too heavy for me, to move in, so I constantly fell to the ground, and everybody just laughed at me, but Sir Bedivere was impressed with my determination that day, so in the end. I scored some points with my master, but it came at a price, that everyone in Camelot now calls me the black knight '' said Tom.

'' Wow. That was some story. I wonder if I should do something similar with my master '' said Jacob.

Tom just looked at Jacob and smiled.

The two boys finally reached the city gates.

'' And here we are '' said Tom.

'' Yep '' said Jacob, But the two boys then noticed something strange about one of the guards. The guard was just standing there, at the gate, kind of menacing like, and then a passing stranger walked behind Jacob and Tom and said '' Jojo '', and kept on walking. Tom and Jacob just looked at each other confused.

Tom and Jacob walked up to the guard.

'' Here are your supplies '' said Tom.

The guard turned around. looked down at Tom and Jacob and said '' You two are not knights ''

'' You were expecting knights, but it was us squires! '' said Jacob pointing at himself with his right thumb.

The guard and Tom just looked at Jacob confused.

'' Well anyway. Here are your supplies '' said Tom again. handing over the basket to the guard.

'' Thank you very much '' said the guard '' And it seems you came here at the right time '' Continued the guard.

'' Yeah, you guys must be hungry '' said Tom.

'' That is true, but it also seems, that your master and Sir Lucan have returned '' said the guard looking outside the gate.

Tom looked outside the gate and saw Sir Bedivere and Sir Lucan riding on the road that lead to Camelot.

'' Master! you have returned! '' yelled Tom while running towards Sir Bedivere. Which also made Jacob run.

'' Oh, Tom. What are you doing here? '' said Bedivere now standing on the ground beside his horse. Sir Lucan also dismounted his horse.

'' I just delivered some supplies to the guards '' said Tom now standing in front of Bedivere and Jacob was standing beside Tom.

Bedivere looked at Jacob and said '' Hello there Jacob, I hope that you and prince Madoc are in good health ''

'' We are Sir Bedivere. As I hope you and Lucan are '' said Jacob.

Bedivere nodded.

The four of them now walked inside Camelot, talking about various things.

We later find out that the passing stranger who said ''Jojo '' was Lug himself.
