Two figures were chatting in a seemingly endless void, as one of the noticed something

"...You felt that?" It asked

"... No... What?" The other figure asked, not very interested

"Seems like another soul is entering our world... oho? and this one even seems to have a name?" It said, looking in front of him, as if seeing something there, but there was nothing

"... Doesn't sound interesting in ANY way... why are you even paying attention to that? didn't it happen like, 27 years ago as well?..." The other figure asked, truly intrigued

"You don't understand, remember that slime who got incredibly powerful at the Cardinal world?" He asked

"I do, but what does he have to do with that?" The other figure asked back

"You wouldn't believe the coincidence, this soul is going to be a slime as well, and someone named it Rimuru as well..." The figure said, somewhat exited

"Oh... now I see why you are so interested in that... but what is the problem? not like the 'Rimuru' incident would happen twice, right?" She asked, not very convinced about that

"You are just so very boring... I wish it was Veldora with me here, he was funnier..." The figure said in a dramatic way

"...you do know that you could have just rejected being the guardian of this world, right?" She asked back with a blank face

"Nah, and loose the chance to beat up those failed creations, Otsutsukis? As if!" Laughing madly, the figure tried to peek into who named the soul or what skills would the soul have

Not getting a clear answer from his skill, he furrowed his brows, something that the other figure noticed

"Something wrong?" she asked

"Strange..." He said

"What is strange?" She asked

"I can't see the skills or who named the soul..." He said solemnly

"...Does that mean...?" She noticed his meaning, and asked surprised

"Yes... someone stronger than me is responsible for that..." He said, now with some worries about this particular soul...

In another dimension, or commonly called another world

<*Sneeze*

Someone must be talking about me behind my back!> the voice of a girl echoed thorough the mind of... a... girl looking man?

'Ehh, you alright?' He asked in concern

<I am fine>

'I didn't know skills could even sneeze, is that because you are a manas, now?' questioned the man

<I don't think so... that wasn't supposed to happen...>

'Umh, if you say so...- The man answered, as he went back to what he was previously doing

"*Sneeze*" Kaede suddenly sneezed, out of nowhere

"You okay Kaede?" Naruto, who was walking by her side, asked

"I am" She answered

'Strange... are slimes even supposed to sneeze?'

<Negative

Slimes are not able to sneeze>

The ever so helpful sage answered Kaede's rhetorical question

'Then why did I sneeze, Sage?'

'Sage?'

"Nee, Kaede... can you use that genjutsu on me again?" Naruto asked awkwardly, not knowing how to approach the topic very well

"ehh? the heck you talking about?" Kaede asked, confused as she didn't know what Naruto meant

(Do remember, that she doesn't know what he saw in the mirror world, for her, he only saw a slightly different Konoha)

"Hey, you two... we are arriving on the next town in about one hour, if we run a bit we can reach it before the sun sets..." Jiraya said to Naruto and Kaede

"Finally!" Naruto jumped in joy, knowing that this boring journey was one step closer to ending, completely forgetting what he just asked

That is just how long his mind can focus on something specific...

'Man, I wish I could just leave, this journey is just soooo boring...' Kaede complained mentally

"I will try to use my skill to see that soul's past... i can't be kept a secret as well, can it?" the figure said once again

"Ahhh, shut the hell up! I need to focus here!" The other figure shot back

Since they learned of that soul, they kept searching for any breaches into their world, I mean, it isn't every day that a soul is covered by something more powerful than a True dragon, something smells fishy for them

"Seesh... I am only telling you..." He said as he took some distance from her

'Must be on her day... sigh...

Anyway, [Odin] search for that soul's past' The figure thought as he activated his skill, [Odin, the all seeing] to see the past

'The fuck... how did this skill invade my mind?'

'What?'

He's sarcastic, malicious and violent. But that is all just a facade, a mechanism to deal with his horrible past.

He was born and grew up in a poor family in a not so important community, he lived without worry until he was about 16 years old, but at that point life changed drastically.

He lost his father in a horrible flood, after that, his mother fell ill and without a fixed income, his family fell into poverty.

He dropped school to get a bad paying job, having to work to exhaustion day after day, just to one day get back at home, and see it all burning.

Both his mother and two little sisters died during the fire

After that, without his family, to anchor his sanity, he developed some violent tendencies, which caused him to be fired from his job. He ended on the streets, where one day, he got shot because of a gang fight, which he wasn't even a part of, dying shortly after.

"Holy... I didn't expect that..." The figure muttered as he kept looking at nothing, lost on his own thoughts

"Maybe... I should go check on this soul, it would be VERY dangerous to let a otherworlder ran around freely if I can't confirm that they are sane..." The figure said as he prepared to go to see the soul

'It doesn't hurt as much as I expected... maybe it is because of the hunger? I really hate hunger, that is the worst feeling in the world...' He thought
