Tale of Discovery

Was bored, so I decided to review my own book. What is this book about? Discovery of character and worlds. It's basically exploration but on a dimensional scale. The book targets a very specific kind of audience. To deal with that early on, I've written a "What to Expect". For people who wouldn't want to bother with it > This fanfic can be dark. You've been warned. Thrice. Synopsis, this review and the "what to expect". The pacing of the storyline honestly depends on the arc. There could be a lot of fluff or smut in one arc and a grand war without a single moment of peace in another. The MC in this book is pretty OP so that's that. I do need to mention the fact the novel begins in Yosuga no Sora. I don't think I need to elaborate any further on that. No NTR. Lots of blood. Plot twists. Meme and other references.

I've been reading this one for a while and noticed that it doesn't have the appreciation that it deserves, I guess everything is Marketing at the end of the Day, this fanfic reminds me of 'God succession System' in regards that they're not placed in the ranking they should, I don't dare say they're top 5 but definitely top 15. Writing Quality: Little to none grammar mistakes and great use of synonymous. Story Development: Also great, not loyal to the original stories contained in it, which makes it way better, also the new layout made by the author is not some crazy thing, it is a story that somehow makes sense, even tho everything hasn't been revealed yet. Character Design: Very well done, definitely each character has their own personality, you will find every dere in existence in this fanfic I think and they're in the harem too because yes, this is a Harem novel. World Background: I guess this is where this novel highlights the most, great Nanuverse-type system the author made here, I shall explain better further down. Now my personal opinion *Spoiler Alert* I don't like two things about this novel, everything else is perfect: 1.- It is a little too confusing at the beginning, don't know if I'm the only one but usually unless the story got me hooked up too much I don't read every single word of the paragraph but jump between sentences and I use my logic to comprehend them, thus reading faster, in this one I began and read every single one of the first two chapters and still didn't understood fk all xD dropped it in the list for a few months until I was bored with nothing to do and gave it a chance, after understanding the 'system' the author did, I like it now. 2.- The author is a fking lolicon... As if... Diehard lolicon... Been tempted to call FBI a couple of times already to get his ass jailed. As of now, there's only 2 'official' Harem members: Tiamat and Gabriel. Other milfs have been introduced but it hasn't gone further than a few kisses, he even gives them 'time' to settle their feelings before going all the way with them. But when it comes to lolis, fk it all, take them straight away. So far he has only gone all the way with Tiamat. Come on bro, I'm not saying leave the lolis but what is this Bias? I'll now make a simple guide of the terms I somehow understand: - Rift: It is the main world MC belongs to, a mix between DxD and Yosuga no Sora (maybe some others too). - Mete: I don't know WTF this is (it's like a place between the rift and the platforms where the transportation between worlds takes place? Not very sure) - Codes: Characters with special abilities that allow them to travel between platforms (worlds), they have a power ranking - Unknowns: Characters or entities that come from outside a specific world. - Platform: Is the different worlds there are, rather than call them (anime worlds) author prefered to call them [platforms] to make it more realist and not look like MC is some otaku travelling through the multiverse. Now the things that I like: 1.- Except for DxD, the worlds chosen aren't cliche: Owari no Seraph and Zero no Tsukaima as of now. 2.- MC doesn't know anything about the worlds he goes to, that makes the story more interesting and tense, rather than have an MC that knows everything that's going to fking happen, I prefer when he doesn't know anything. 3.- Relationships are developed with time and there's no Japanese blush-blush-evade bullshit if you know what I mean things are rather straight, MC and girl interact and they fall for each other making slow process every so often. 4.- I like the original way the author made his novel work, even tho there are still things I don't understand and that's because they haven't been revealed yet, everything becomes very entertaining once you understand the concepts that he introduces. 5.- MC is very OP but he delegates work, he has partners and an entourage and they help him if needed. Last but not least, sometimes the fights are confusing because there isn't a proper grasp of the enemies and MC strength, he's said to be OP enough to destroy cities in seconds but then you see him struggling to kill some ants sometimes, so you don't really know if either he's weak or the ant is not an ant, either way, it is not good to boast so much of his strength and title, if he's gonna be beaten the crap out of him just to come out on top at last. Greetings.

Now before anything, i wanna make this clear: It's been a while since I've started reading this and i noticed that very few people seem to express their appreciation, really unfortunate, especially when some 'authors' like ghostyz and akikan who write stuff out of their buttholes still get that much popularity and interaction, it is concerning... Anyway, The story is one of the few fanfictions on this platform that I really enjoyed reading and actually liked the main character who the story revolves around. Now, if you're still in the early chapters, you'll probably think that I'm smoking something to write such a review, but no, it really does improve and everything is properly explained, don't be like me who let this hidden gem rot in his collection because of judging too fast... While the story might start confusing and be a bit annoying sometimes at first because of the main character being too carefree for his own good and how he ignored a few obvious hints, it's explained why such thing would even happen and it's also solved after the end of Charlotte's arc. You'll be given the information required to deduce the reasoning, so you only need a brain to figure it out and then you'll really like the main character starting from that point because everything takes a different turn from the 2nd arc, which is High School DxD with Crossovers, and there's a plot! It's not that Exalf(Author) just put everything in a mixer then said "nah, **** it, imma make a wish fulfillment novel" and produced some kind of trashy shit as a result, but there's an actual plot, a goal, and the novel seems to have so much thought and mental power invested in it, yet you still won't find a "Huge Pa treon Deal" suddenly popping up like a boogie-man and targeting your ass-hole. Now, all of that aside: -Writing Quality: There's almost no grammatical errors and you can actually read it without getting your brain fried trying to figure out what the **** everything means...so you'll be using that spare mental energy for figuring out the plot and trying to predict the upcoming events using the hints dropped in each chapter... -Story Development: It really has great development, like, you'll finally find that it has a plot of its own and isn't just following the original canon, yeah not exactly what happened in the early chapters ofbCharlotte because the changes and improvements were in the latter stages of the arc, but the following arcs are really great, [Btw, Minor Spoiler Incoming...] especially DxD with the crossovers or more accurately, 'The Rift'. There was a plan followed, and it was really great, not just rereading the canon all over again like how most 'authors' of DxD fanfictions do... -Character Design: I think I've praised the main character previously, so let me explain why, well, the main character's alignment is chaotic neutral, if you're not familiar with the alignment system, then in simpler terms, chaotic neutral means "i do what i want, but i have a bottom line", the bottom line isn't the laws but his personal morals, sanity and needs. So you should expect a bold main character who knows what he wants, not a xianxia retard who'll commit a genocide because someone made eye contact with him nor a japanese little boi who'll blush left and right every single second, be 'clueless' about the girls' affection or act like a 'beta-bitch' as they call it here... Speaking of the harem, now...take a deep breath...the author is....a certified lolicon...just like mys—now hold on and let me explain, it's all legal work... But seriously, the harem mostly consists of legal and ancient 'lolis' such as Koneko and Ophis, however that doesn't mean that there are no other types, as along the story, the harem gets to include at least one or more of each type and the balance starts to appears, so not only lolis, there are milfs, yanderes, sane-tsunderes, kuuderes, danderea, and there's even around five sisters/step-sisters till now...though unfortunately, it's not literally Wincest in 'essence' but i won't explain why because that would be considered as spoilers and i won't spoil for obvious reasons... So as I was saying, you'll definitely be satisfied and might even get sweetness-diabetes from the cuteness of the lolis—now put that phone down and don't call the fbi, there's only legal/ancient lolis here... -Updating Stability: Consistently one chapter a day to keep your boredom away, though only till you finish it and the 'hunger for more' phenomenon occurs... And finally, -World-Background: Like i said many times, there's a plot, there's a plan, there's gold, everything is nice and cool. The complementary world building is great and there's world-travel not world-jumping, hope you know the difference... So anyway, go and read it, survive the early chapters, and then everything will prove its greatness and worth to you. The novel may not be from the greatest three of all-time, but it certainly is the top ten in my humble opinion. Also, don't forget to leave a review and some comments here and there to make the author feel that it's worth the effort because he doesn't really get any materialistic win out of this, such thing is very very rare these days...Now Go!

It's strange story. I feel like elements like sealed state, his powers and layout of world traveling is a bit complicated. Not in the way that it's hard to understand, I just wonder why you make it like this. But I'm not too thrilled searching for terms in Greece/Romanian mythology. Some stuff that wasn't changed from original anime was skipped too abrupt, someone who doesn't see wouldn't understand what's happened. Powers of mc weird, looks like divinity from campione, mostly because they too specific, not like power of element that have some uses, and mc trying too figure out how to use it. More like, conditions power with very narrow uses, on first glance, but actually op. Definitely godo stuff. Romance needs more flashing out, but fluff is good. Synopsis of story and story itself, very different for now, though. It's give me feelings of akkikan works, actually. But that's may change. Still, you have some fresh ideas, you writing is understandable, and it's not too fluffy/slice of life-ish. Looking promising, hope you wouldn't drop it.

Ok well dont know what to say but its a very nice story. Moreover it would be nice if it contains some of the animes that noone writes about. Alot of these contain alot of potential so please write about them.but overall nice story

Finally a story with different content. I’ve been reading fanfics for 4 years and i keep seeing the same thing. A person gets hit by truck-sama and gets reincarnated. Then they stay in one world which has been written for like thousands of times. There are alot of great animes out there so i dont know for what reason do people stick to only a couple of them. All in all great story keep going author-san

This fanfic has positive reviews so I decided to write this review. First, this fanfic is not a cup of my tea. Because I hate memory loss genre and I avoid them like a plague. But this fanfic is quite good to stick around. But until latest chapter no action so I decided to drop. MC progression throughout the story is close to zero and slow-paced in my opinion. And MC has multiple bodies or more like that. Rather than fanfic, if the author decided to create his own novel, this will better. Sad this fanfic a lot of elements I hate but worthy to stick around person like me who hates those elements.

This is a good novel, the author is consistent and he knows how to build worlds and characters well. Now, I would not recommend this novel to people who do not like 'lost memories' or 'sealed memories and sealed powers.' As the name of the novel said, this is a discovery. I personally don't like this kind of setup where the MC doesn't know anything and it looks like he's being manipulated by everyone. Or that he was an OP in the past, but some unknown enemy forced him to lose powers, I just hate it. But if you know how to ignore it, it's a good novel that I follow to this day. Another thing that can be considered boring, is that the MC when he goes to other worlds, he takes the place of the protagonist of that world, this is just my personal opinion, but I don't like that, it seems that the MC is just a 'shell' and it never really shows. But I understand that the author does it for the MC to experience many different emotions. The system is a little confusing at first, but over time, I started to understand. Anyway. Good job, author.

A fanfiction that is designed for the finest men of culture it's just like drinking that 500,000$ wine that i will never afford in my life, the mc is an alpha male that hunt for women with no racism, whatever the age, the race or the color he is gonna catch'em all as a true man of culture, he might as well be our king and guess what? It actually has a plot i just came for the harem and R-18 but here i am also interested in the plot my fellow degenerates

A great and unique ideas are coming into play in this fanfiction. It was actually quite refreshing seeing that someone would just throw that garbage 'cannon' out of the window and write their own plot! I like it! Seriously, most of the fanfictions around here would just follow the plot to a T - some don't but those are rare - and doesn't add anything unique to the mix. Although the plot was quite confusing - even more so to those who haven't seen the original - but overall, it was a fantastic read for me. I just hope you didn't skip too many things in that Charlotte bit but... well, it's actually just a minor thing! Keep it up! I look forward for more!

at chapter 41 I can say I had build up stress reading it.... their are so many random element that it's confusing although they may get clear in further chapters but right now it's too irritating writing quality is good character is should I beginner noob type doesn't really have sense of surrounding should I say....or you can say is careless since everything is new to him.... aside from that I can't understand him .... update should be good as their are 200-300 chaps currently available world background isnt explained complete...and whatever is explained is done in complex manner so be prepared to give full concentration if want to understand properly.....

I think in fan-fic section this novel is a hidden gem which has yet to receive the attention it deserves..... The main problem about this novel is that there is no explanation about power levels such as about his supposedly enemies, the limits and potential of codes and the purpose of rift is also unclear

I do not know, maybe you see the fact that there comes a point where I find myself immersed in the novel and when I stop I only see that hours have passed, the truth is that the beginning was something meh but I had faith and I reached Vol 2 as I saw in other comments and gave it a try. From there everything changes (oh we could say that the true personality of the Author Lmao comes to light) I have laughed a lot at the shameless personality of the Author I say of Mc, the r18 moments I wish they were longer huh (I will copy some of the shameless Author personality to ask for more) I like the touch of romance that develops feels real although I would like the duration time on the interaction with the girls to be longer but for the moment well, what else can I say about the cheeky Author? hahaha cultured man, the grammar is perfect so to speak, I understand everything. The writing quality is great for me. 5/5 The update speed is practically perfect, this guy can keep me waiting every day for chapters to read. 5/5 The development of the story is good, it is far superior to most of this site, but I think we could have a deeper development in each character ... 4/5 Character design I think the only thing I have to say is that this author has a creativity in certain things. 4/5 The bottom of the world I think is basically the same without saying a few things. 4/5 In general, you are one of the best authors I have seen on this site, I hope you continue and improve this story consistently.
